Visited recently over the bank holiday weekend for lunch and it was a nice experience. The food was tasty, reasonably priced and portion sizes were decent. Not a big place so might be difficult to get a seat during busy times. The staff were friendly and service was very quick (I jokingly commented their microwave is super efficient) Looking forward to the next visit and that they keep up their high standards (without significant price increases of course).

Amazing food and such good value for money! Been going for years, so much better than just your standard Chinese take away. Chicken in capital sauce, crispy curry chicken and salt and pepper chicken are some of my favourites 😋

First time ordering at Chinese Snack Box in Leicester. Met with very friendly staff. Not rushed to order as the menu is quite vast, so I went with something I like. Very tasty, very quick from ordering to table. Will definitely be coming here again with friends/family and try something different.

Great dining spot. Went here twice, one for takeout and the second dine in. I was going to order it a third time this year but I was gutted to find that they no longer served Beef Ho Fun which was so delicious

I'm a repeat customer here, both dining in and ordering food through Ubereats and deliveroo. Lovely tasty food in great quantities, and at a decent price compared to others in Leicester. If you want the balance of quality, quantity and price then this is the best place to eat at hands down.

This food was so good, I could cry. Was exactly what I needed and much better than expected. Would recommend the noodle dishes for sure, so much flavour and I also really enjoyed the crispy beef.

Yeah this place ! This is the one for lunch if you work in town. I came here to deliver their boxes as I work as a hgv courier and I noticed the amount of 5* food and hygiene reviews this business had got. I took a look around and everything was immaculate!! I seen the price and thought I’d have lunch there. I got it to go and I was so impressed. 6 minuets from order to food in my hand. That’s fast ! The taste was fantastic beautiful rice well seasoned the egg was so fluffy and golden. I had sweet and sour crispy chicken with it also and the sauce was divine. Made with fresh pineapple and a great consistency. The perfect balance between runny and thick. Plenty of veggies. 5/5 can’t ask for anything more.

Incredibly tasty Chinese restaurant! The service is polite and welcoming and the food is ready very quickly. They have a slightly smaller than usual menu for compared to a regular Chinese restaurant, which is great as they focus on higher quality. Great prices for the service and food, too.

Went for the roast duck noodle soup bowl. Duck was very good. Soup was reasonable but not amazing. Reasonable price-wise. They do hand pulled noodles and will try those next time. Service was quick and food out in 5 minutes or so. Clean place. Good for no fuss place to eat and then do something else.

Great food and simple friendly service. All the food comes at once and all of it was gorgeously cooked and fresh tasting. Simple wooden seating. Popular with Chinese customers.

Not the best Chinese you'll ever have but for the price it is great value. Filling and tasty while still very affordable. Ate a very satisfactory meal for only £8.

Been going to this restaurant for nigh on 8 years and it’s been impeccable. Until recently. The food quality has gone down hill over the past year or so. The staff are helpful but if the food you’ve been eating for years suddenly makes you visit the toilet more often than usual,then it’s a no go.

I had ordered from this place multiple times on uber eats so I decided to go into the restaurant for a date with a guy who doesn't know the restaurant. yesterday I had ordered about 4 plates to share and we were both full so he had asked for 4 containers for us to take the food home. As the containers were so small we asked for an extra and the woman who was washing the dishes responded so rude and angrily, over a container I would have gladly paid for. It was incredibly embarrassing and I hadn't felt welcome in that moment despite being a faithful online customer. I would leave zero stars but the two stars are for the delicious food and the very kind girl who had served us at the till.

The best Chinese food I’ve ever tried! Beef with aubergines in soy sauce is my favourite 🤩 The staff is really welcoming and friendly, the orders are processed in no time and the meals just moreish! Unfortunately I have no photos of the food cuz we usually finish it so fast that I have no opportunity to take at least one pic😄 Thank you so much for such an amazing service!

This place is more of a quick cafe than a restaurant, the service is really fast and the food is pretty cheap. They only have a few veggie options, dumplings and a curry with aubergine and potato, both huge portions for a very low price. It's great for a quick pit stop and the Chinese staff are so hard working too.

Great place to get authentic Chinese food. If you go here make sure you look at the specials, or try something you'd not find on a takeaway menu, you won't be disappointed. Food comes quick, and you might receive it at different times, but I don't see a problem with that. We went for the double cooked pork with rice, and the brisket spicy noodle soup with hand cut noodles. The twice cooked pork was great and had a nice spice of fresh green chilli running through. The spicy soup was nose clearingly spicy with a deep savoury flavour. If you can't take realy spice then this isn't for your. If you come here for any noodle soup, the hand cut noodles are definitely worth the extra wait. Unfortunately they didn't have any steams buns (bao) again, which is a shame. But the pork and chive dumplings (pan fried) were a great alternative.
