10/10 for customer service, 10/10 on food tastes, 10/10 on presentation of the place and overall 10/10 on everything. Team member recommended a dish and it was out of this world. I like it spicy and it was up my street. Will definitely be coming back soon and will recommend this place to everyone. Keep up the good work guys.

Killer prawn platter was really good. We got soups, burgers, lamb chops, calamari, grilled veg, chips and rice. Extra spicy Killer prawns tasted the best and they were not that spicy so that's the best recommendation I can give. The medium spicy prawns tasted pretty bland. Everything else was amazing. Thank you.

Bad service from the staff and owner. Didn’t expect from this a restaurant. Had ordered 3 main dishes from their menu and spending over £100, very poor attitude. Ordered and extra dish from the menu, but they refuse to give that item by saying some silly reasons. Sheer arrogance. Didn’t expected at all.

Finding Parking is an issue. Ablution and Prayer Facilities available. Restaurant itself got simple interior. Seating wise the tables are far to close to eachother. Also the table for 4 is 2 small to fit enough food if you order a variety of food. Ordered a prawns platter for 1 which contains 18 medium pieces of prawns served with either rice or chips and 3 sauces. Also got a Cod Fillet served on a bed of Stir Fry Vegetables with Chips. Choice of Grilled or Fried. I choose the Fried Cod and unfortunately the outer part of the fish was hard basically the coating which was very disappointing.

Travelled from London to try this place out. Been hearing about it for ages. It was definitely worth the drive up. Four of us, waiter recommended we go for the prawn fiesta platter comes with a variety of flavoured prawns. Man they were so juicy and flavoursome! The only one I wasn’t to keen was the Mozambique coconut flavoured prawn’s although very saucy, thought it lacked flavour. Everything else was great! We ordered a couple of starters to. I don’t usually eat liver and any other organs, but my god, that spicy liver starter has converted me, my wife will be happy to know that. Jug of strawberry lemonade mojito, very standard nothing special. Highly recommend this place, staff were great nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

Really enjoyed this place. There is not a lot of seafood places to choose from Leicester, but this is the best one for me. A good choice of options as well as non-seafood such as chicken, lamb etc, so caters to pretty much everyone. This restaurant splits opinion, but the food was really good. The service we had was good, however my only complaint will be space. There was 3 of us, placed on a table for 4. But because we ordered a decent amount of food, we were struggling for space. Would have made sense for them to move us to a bigger table, but the other tables were taken up by the time our food had arrived.

Got the Jimmy Killer special prawns platter for 3. Comes in different spices levels, mild, medium, spicy and extra spicy. We got the medium flavour which was perfect. If you’re someone who likes spice but also doesn’t want to be struggling and wants to enjoy the flavours, medium is your best bet. Service was great and quick, food was hot and seasoned excellently. You are given gloves to eat the food without making a mess and a bin to throw the shells away (pro tip, enjoy the sauces on the shells before throwing them away!) the platter for 3 came with 54-56 prawns and we went for double fries for our sides. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning again! The platter was enough for 3 lads to be content and comfortable, but also leaving room for dessert. If you’re looking to fill up on prawns, you could go for a larger platter. 10/10.

The prawns were perfectly flavoured and paired so well with garlic butter, lemon butter + peri peri sauces & sides were great. The restaurant was extremelyyy busy but the service was still quick and friendly. We with my friends just to eat that. Had a great time. Definitely recommend 10/10.

Nice place with good atmosphere although no parking. Ordered the large platter of prawns which comes with 3 sides. Also a dynamite shrimps starter. Dynamite shrimps starter wasn’t great. Didn’t really have much flavour. Prawns were nice to begin with but got a little boring after a bit. I wasn’t too keen on the dips they came with, they were quite similar to each other and probably a little too thick for my liking. The rice and chips were good. Everything seemed fresh. Overall it was a good experience. I would recommend to get a small portion of prawns to share and get different mains. Probably would be more enjoyable.

The prawns were really good, as were the dips. However I felt let down by the chips and rice - both of which tasted quite stale. Service was great

Best Prawn I ever had. Good food, good ambience, really polite and friendly staff. Overall a great experience. Parking is very limited, thats the only issue. Even though we took an 18 prawn platter for one, it was more than enough for two of us. Portion size is massive.

Staff are very polite and friendly. The atmosphere is always a good one, whether busy or quiet. Food is exceptional. I initially thought it was "overpriced for just prawns" but been a few times, and everything i have had off the menu has been superb and very filling. I would actually say you are getting what you paid for. Every penny

I've tried the Jimmy's in Manchester and loved it but this branch is much better. Firstly service was very good. The hostess was very attentive and efficient. The food was spot on, we ordered the Jimmys Saucy prawns and Paella. Decent price and explosive flavours. We came from London to try it out .. well worth the journey. Hope to be back soon

Reliable restaurants, no matter what time of day you visit, get good quality shrimp plates with the lines carefully removed and your choice of rice or fries on the side. Also recommend the jimmy spicy queens, this is super spicy but also very tasty. Recommended for all shrimp lovers who can eat spicy food. Even though the restaurant is always full of customers, the service from the staff is always so welcoming.Highly recommend.

A very beautiful atmosphere with great customer service. We started with the creamy seafood soup, while my friend had the chicken and mushroom soup.😋😋 And then, we enjoyed the millionaire's platter, OMG.. the lobster was to die for. Everything on the plate was just delicious.

We were fortunate to finding a parking space next to the restaurant. Was very busy so had to go upstairs to overflow. No alcohol is served, has apple juice, we didn't wait long for our food, which steaming hot. The chicken livers were great, my prawn dish was excellent and the cod and chips likewise. Overall the service was excellent all round. Good value for money. We enjoyed the livers so much, took 4 portins as and a prawn platter (18) as takeaways .

I have been to Jimmy’s many times and it never fails to impress me! Food was absolutely delicious! I usually get the sharing prawn platter, but this time I went for their new sharing platter that has Lobster, Prawns and crabs. Would highly recommend the prawn platter! Even chips and rice are delicious! Staff are very friendly as well which is always a plus!

Amazing!!!! I’ve been to the Manchester one so being in Leicester I had to try this one too! I have to say, it didn’t let us down. We had the mountain of prawns with chips, crabs & rice, seafood paella, queen prawns & rice…and the passionfruit lemonade. Every dish was just awesome! Can’t wait to be back again!

Basis my experience and expectations I am rating 3 out of 5. Lamb chops were hard to chew and seemed to me as if it was not properly cooked. And the same was informed to waitress. Overall atmosphere was good and looked busy everywhere being Saturday night. Regarding Prawns, I was expecting something extraordinary in terms of taste and presentation but it was almost as similar as the other restaurants I have visited. Could have been better.

Went here for my birthday and I I was not disappointed. The meals were hot, fresh and delicious. I never had to wait long for my meals at all. I was a little disappointed that being it was a birthday treat, they never offered a free dessert. That's the norm for other restaurants in the UK. Also when I visit other Jimmy's Killer Prawns overseas, they give a free dessert and sing you a happy birthday song. Something to make you feel extra special. Other than that, the food was great, the atmosphere was nice and even though it was full in capacity it wasn't noisy. I didn't felt rushed to have my meals. Buckets were provided to put your waste and there is always someone to take it away from your table. Gloves and other plastics were provided so you won't ruin your outfit. And there were antibacterial wipes provided also. Overall, I enjoyed my time here.

I came to Leicester for the comedy festival and knew immediately when researching the area that I had to try food from here! I ordered the prawn platter for 1 with chips for takeaway. It was absolutely delicious! By far the tastiest prawns I’ve ever eaten and absolutely delicious sauces! It’s very very messy to handle just for awareness but an absolutely delicious meal with more than enough for one person!
