Sound service by hotel reception staff. Quick easy check in, even with one of the girls in training!! Rooms are clean but a little dated in comparison to some other premier inn's.

I know you always expect the same service from a premier inn but its not always the case. I can say this premier inn was the best we've stayed in hands down. Food, service and rooms were excellent.

Very comfortable, quiet and good value hotel located within easy access of the M1 and Leicester. Polite helpful staff with a good restaurant and bar. Prebook the evening meal and breakfast online and advise staff on your arrival your preferred time. Parking available on site.

Good old vintage Inn. We haven't stayed, only ordered food. Well prepared, spiced enough, the service was fast even if there were quite a few customers.

This place years ago when it was Europer Lodge was fantastic, I can also say as a Builder I refurbished the place many years ago. It's now not kept well, the bar area is poor, the place looks very tired, rooms are not great for a Premier Inn considering the price they charge, bar staff not very accommodating sorry guys but it needs a good manager who cares

Comfortable for sleeping, nice shower. No internet during my stay though (apparently Virgin problem, but never solved?)

The stay in the hotel was amazing. Had a good night sleep as gauranteed. The only trouble i got was with my dinner voucher. But still later on managed.

Our stay was good as always. However, l did notice that the cleaning standards have slipped a bit in the Bathroom. The Bath Plug Housing was really dirty, around the Taps & plumbing area also need a good scouring & the Toilet Seat & surroundings areas were not cleaned properly & still had a few of Urine stains on it. We were in room 5. Please check this room and let your cleaning staff know that these things do get noticed. Other than that, our room was lovely & we had restful nights.

The reception staff were amazing! Very welcoming and accomodating. Special shoutout to Vicki and her team who gave us a box of Rafaellos and a personalised card as we had booked a double room but didn't want the single beds and the staff ensured they gave us a double bed with a sofa bed! A friend came with us last min and her sofa bed was already made! Very nice overall and it was amazing how the hotel itself gave complimentary French Fries for French Fry-Day! Very enjoyable stay and the family loved it! Definitely 4.5 stars for the hotel itself and their staff! There were a few customers who checked in later at night and weren't so quiet so we could hear some noise which was a little annoying when we were trying to sleep early. The only downside were the bar staff which was a shame as I personally felt they needed more training. On the first day, one of the bar staff (J) initially seemed intimidating but she was lovely and helpful in the end and we had a lovely breakfast. The second day we were there, breakfast was a bit of a nightmare!! I went to the bar to check if everythinf was sorted out as there were 7 of us. I spoke to this lady (didn't catch her name but she was blond), told her we had already reserved our table and asked if we could get the same table as the previous day. Although she was trying to be nice, she insisted that the table we specifically wanted couldn't accomodate 7 people when on the previous day, we all sat there and were comfortable! She ended up giving us the same table anyway but this initial interaction was unnecessary. She then asked if we had paid so I told her no and proceeded to pay. Without even asking me whether I wanted the continental breakfast or full english breakfast, she asked me to pay £9.99 (price of the full english one). I told her we are all getting the continental breakfast (£7.99) as the bar couldn't really accomodate our dietary requirements. She offered a few vegan options to which I declined as we don't eat mushrooms. I then told her, the others will come and pay for their breakfast and if she could wait. Some of the family members were about to start getting their plates and breakfast and 1 person out of 7 was going to pay for the majority (i.e. for 5 people) but she went against my request and asked for the individual relatives to pay! On top of that, she tried to charge us for a full english breakfast when I specifically told her we were ALL getting the continental breakfast! Probably was a communication issue/misunderstanding but when I told her that I had previously told her we were all getting a continental breakfast, she replied in a rude manner and said "Yeah I was just asking!" Honestly did not take into consideration our dietary requirements nor even bothered to ask what we wanted! Very appalling behaviour from her and lack of customer service! On top of this, there were 3 girls (including the blond girl) serving breakfast on that Sunday and all they did really was gossip behind the bar in the kitchen area. I overheard them say "a customer came down for breakfast at 10 to 11 the other day, what did he expect?" Breakfast is advertised from 7-11am on the weekend so not sure why they were complaining and gossiping about the customers! Those girls definitely require more training, seems like they are students working part-time who don't really care about their job! It just made breakfast awkward that morning which was unnecessary! And also ruined our mood! Also would be nice if the bar served cheese for breakfast.

Pretty standard service and rooms, no major problems. We had breakfast there and it was made to order, it was spot on. Service was good given the fact they were short staffed but managed well. All employees were always happy to help.

Pretty good for a Premier Inn, room was warm bed was comfy, hot water in the shower. Plenty of free parking and a nice Table Table restaurant and bar on site serving good food. Hotel staff and the restaurant/bar staff all welcoming and very friendly. What more do you need for a short business trip.

Loved our stay at this Premier Inn! From start to finish, the staff were fantastic - friendly (genuinely chatty and engaging) and helpful, both in the hotel and adjacent restaurant. Our room was spotlessly clean on our arrival and it was much appreciated to have a window that we could open and close for proper ventilation. We would certainly stay here again!

Yet another stay at the LFE PI.. The location is perfect for my weekends when visiting friends & family in Leicester. On arrival a swift polite check in by Agatha ,always available for good information help during my stay. Comfortable stay ,clean room all the things you’d expect for your stay. Bar area was a mess, puddles of spilled beer leaving the surface swimmingly in dregs of drinks. Not one member off the bar staff considered wiping it down.. until prompted by a customer.. Her face said it all..Stroppy was an understatement 😡😡 I’m a cancer sufferer who travels with a variation of meds, some that require fudge storage.. No Fridge Available in my room.. not wanting to leave my tablets etc with staff , so I locked them in my car boot coolest place & safe . I left my spectacles in my room.. found by the room maid who left them at reception for my collection.. Top Lady x Kindest regards Subject to price I’ll be back at the beginning of November… no discount at all for frequent customers 😡😡😡 Not happy with this at all.. Kindest regards Roger Pinto-Smith 😎

Great stay after BBC 2 music in the park. unfortunately there was an issue an breakfast as the chef went home sick leaving no one to cook breakfast...... the staff ( Evie ) who held the fort gave everyone the offer of waiting or getting a refund, most decided to wait, and around an hour after this breakfast arrived, despite this people complained......... Evie took it all and did her best for everyone, I even came across two ladies complaining to the receptionist in the hotel ( who's name i didn't get ) but again she too was very professional. very impressed by all the staff highly recommend this premier Inn to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

We stayed her for one night and found the staff, room and restaurant very good. The room was as we expected from Premier, clean and exactly what we needed (accessible room). The restaurant for breakfast was very well done, you ordered breakfast and that arrived lovely and warm. The young woman in the restaurant was very helpful and helped us get our bearings. Thank you. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely friendly reception staff, rooms spacious and Hot water for a good soak in the bath, car park not overly big but plenty for cars.

We got told we could fit 3 adults into a room as the single bed was for a child and child size, we found out this was untrue and could easily fit a third adult in the single bed. Totally disappointed with this as we had to book another room for the third person. Also the breakfast was extremely dissapointed, serve was diabolical, we waited absolutely ages to get served and hardly any food left when there was an hr to go before they closed.

Standard prem Inn. When I stayed only half the menu was being served because of shortages. The food they did have was decent. Great location for Leicester centre.

Only stayed 1 night but can say that every member of staff night, morning and in the breakfast area can have full marks from me. The room was clean, comfortable and I had a peaceful nights sleep. 👏👏👏

Exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn, a polite welcome, a clean room and nice mattress resulting in a good night's sleep.

Good for a short stay and the hotel team were very helpful. My only gripe was the occasional noise from our fellow hotel guest's.

Quick visit overnight stay. Staff polite quick service. Rooms clean and well equipped. Evening meal and breakfast both good. Good choice of beers at bar.

It is a convenient place to stay for visiting our family. It was comfortable as usual . The room was rather warm and the heating control didn't work so we slept under a thick duvet with a room heated to 23 degrees! I wish there could be thinner pillows as an option!

Room clean and tidy, bed comfortable. Food in the restaurant way above average for this type of hotel.

It's ok, cooked breakfast not great, continental items better.rooms clean and ok, fire alarm false alarm at 5am unwelcome.evening meal deal was hard work as the waiter was about 12yo and didn't know his arm from his elbow.

Staff really nice and room lovely, however the Wifi is a joke. Bearing in mind budget places like Ibis provide breakfast and fast wifi, Premier Inn needs to up their game. Google " Wifi at Premier inn " on Reddit and there is quite a few folk with the same complaint. Many believe its a ploy so you pay £5 for the quicker Wifi. Review written off my 4G phone ;)

A comfortable stay at this Premier Inn, with helpful staff. Easy to find on main road out of Leicester, only 10 mins drive from M1 Junction 21, and plenty of free parking. Good breakfast options with the traditional buffet, or delicious food available up to lunchtime next door at the Grange Deli as well

Excellent stay, booked a family room which was more than adequate, big room with plenty of space. Free car park which is big with plenty of parking spaces, staff were great. Had a dodgy pedestal fan which probably needs looking at (was quite warm in the room). Overall a great hotel.

This review isn't a dissatisfaction of the hotel, it's a premiere, you know the room is gonna be fine. No aircon but fine other than that. This review is for the ball ache of a restaurant shamefully hanging like a testicular cyst from the otherwise decent hotel itself Don't order a steak unless you like eating shoe leather Don't ask for chips unless you don't mind getting mash Don't ask for no blue cheese sauce unless you want a plateful of it If you want scampi, know its about £13 and you get 6 pieces, small pieces, maybe 3/4" across Don't go here. Just order a kebab far better for the money

👍 Lunch with my Dad who lives close by. Had a big fish, little fish, mushy peas box! Food all good. The fish wasn't the freshest I've had inland but still better than most (hence 4☆). The young woman serving was cheery, pleasant and welcoming. The shop had not long opened but the food didn't take long...

👍👍 Poppy's provided a buffet for our Mum's Funeral Reception. It was a fabulous spread catering for everyone including vegans and vegetarians. Everything was delicious! It's very hard to gauge numbers for a funeral but what was left at the end could all be taken home and either eaten later or frozen...
