Good night's stay as you would expect from a Premier Inn, but would like to give extra praise to the staff. This Premier Inn has the convenience of the adjacent restaurant but also a large complex of restaurants and a cinema within a short walk After an initial payment dispute due to being organised through a company travel agency put a damper on my stay here and a lot of back and forth between the agency, I managed to speak with Emma the hotel manager who was extremely helpful and sympathetic. She explained the issue with great detail and took the time to email me so I could dispute the cost with the travel agency.

Our home from home when visiting from Canada. Perfect location for M1 Motorway and Fosse Park shopping centre. Attached to the hotel is the Observatory restaurant and bar which serves plentiful buffet breakfast and full menu lunch and evening meals. Our thanks to the staff at the Observatory who are professional, polite and very pleasant. Danny is the manager, and we must also acknowledge the services of Jav who is a great guy and a first class server, as is Dan always attentive and cheerful. The Premier Inn staff are delightful. Sharon and Mo are on the front desk and are so welcoming and obliging in fact the front desk staff are all so professional and pleasant. Finally as expected the rooms are clean, well prepared and very comfortable. Thank you guys, see you soon. 🇨🇦 🇬🇧

Dishonest staff!!! Cold bedrooms! An old style Toilet door! Not worth spend money in this hotel? On the 25th January 2024 we stayed over 50 members of our family in the hotel. However, I enter the hotel room at midnight was very cold and very unpleasant! I left one of my adidas make tracksuit at the bathroom, next day I spoke one of hotel staff and he told me will call you in 5 mins but never return my call! Even I called more than 3 times never answer my call? Be aware! If you leave anything behind there is a thief and dishonest people will not help you at all!!!

I have been staying at this hotel approx 3/4 nights a week for the last 18 months, during this time I have found the desk staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly, in particular Amy, Emma and Mo who are normally on the desk at the times I arrive. I generally have the same room every week (if available) and find it comfortable and clean, the bed has just been renewed and is even more comfortable than one before.

The rooms are very clean. The staff are very lovely always help with opening the doors and booking tables for us for breakfast. The staff greet us every morning. The food at beefeater tastes amazing. Free parking is a bonus. Customer service is on point. Made us feel welcome.

Nice modern Premier inn. Know what you are getting. Unfortunately your room is not tidied on a daily basis unless requested. The carpet in my room obviously had not been vacuumed recently and was full of crumbs. So even at change overs things are not as they should be. I can understand that Premier inns need a return on investment but cutting corners on customer care should not be ignored.

Had an absolutely lovely stay here for my mother's birthday. Staff went above and beyond to make her time there special. Rooms was comfortable and we had a great sleep. Would highly recommend

We live just down the road and often enjoy having breakfast here. Our last visit was not great. When we arrived we were shown to a table of our choice. Noticed that the help yourself buffet breakfast was not available. We were informed that a member of staff would take our order at the table. Did this and then we waited....and waited....and waited. More customers arrived and suddenly the buffet was opened. We continued to sit patiently whilst everyone went up to get their food as we were still being told ours was on order. Eventually another member of staff told us to go and help ourselves. By this point half the menu items were finished. Got no tomatoes, no black pudding etc. Coffee machine kept malfunctioning and juice machine was running on dregs. Only spotted 3 members of staff and the chef looked like he was totally out of his depth. Definitely not a great experience this time.

Good location, friendly and helpful team. Beefeater next door wasn't great, but not the hotels fault

Really nice welcome touches for the kids. Usually, family room beds for the kids are hard and uncomfortable, but these beds were both comfy, so no fights over who gets the good bed this time! Could have done with some room service, but reception were happy to get us fresh towels, toilet roll ect. This is one of the best premier inns we have stayed in.

The staff and location was superb. The rooms themselves were clean and bright but I just thought that they were a little tired looking. It did not impair on my stay at all

I stay in many premier inns all over an feel this one deserves a review From arrival it is clean and airy all staff go above and beyond to make your stay a happy one. Emma the manager is superb always smiling and great welcoming. Will be advising all others I work with to stay here when in Leicester.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and during the visit. Would recommend this hotel. Cannot comment on the food or pub facilities as we didn't use them.

Feel things have gone downhill at this branch since our last visit pre-pandemic. Room smelled strongly of damp, no additional keycard available for family room access and there was a mess-up with a slot not being booked for our prepaid breakfast on the second night, meaning we had to go elsewhere for breakfast with two hungry kids. In general the continuing need to book timeslots for breakfast is inflexible and inconvenient and seems to be used to cover for lack of staff capacity. I still feel Premier Inn family rooms are good value in general when travelling with kids but there are also various signs of cost-cutting these days and we’ll probably try a different hotel chain when next in the area after this experience.

Really nice Premier Inn. The front of desk staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn't praise them enough. This one is next door to a Beefeater where meals are eaten. The meal deal was remarkable value for money and although I was traveling on my own I felt comfortable eating there

Amy, the receptionist at Braunstone is very polite, helpful and always has a glowing smile to go with the service. Booking into the hotel was a pleasure and made me feel at home.

Stayed here for a week with work and was woken up every night but one by banging doors from reception or people moving up and down the corridors outside the room. The slightest noise carries and the windows allow all the noise from the car park in. If the person in the room above gets up you also hear the every footstep and the floor creaking. As far as Premier inns go this is pretty standard and the staff are friendly, just don’t expect to sleep very well. I wont be back.

Great location, rooms were average but could do with a deep clean in my opinion. Plenty of parking, the restaurant next door was pretty good too.

It was a good 15 mins before the meet and greet at the door ,by this time there were two parties waiting Eventually being seated it took a while to be offered drinks and the food order to be take also a very long time between courses. On the up side the food was hot and good value buta little small

I'm sorry to say,I didn't stay at the Premier inn in Leicester but I did go to the Observatory restaurant next door, although it was nice n clean and the service wasn't to bad,we were seated near to the kitchen,so when our meals were done, they sat them on top of the counter, granted under lights but all the same, they sat there for 6 minutes while we could see them ! ,how is this right lol, that in my opinion isn't great service, if I was sat so I couldn't see the meals, well that's a different story,I just know it didn't sit well with me !!

We actually went in the Beefeater steak house and it was pretty poor. Service was slow and the fillet steak was the worst I'd had in a long time. It was very tough and extremely chewy to the point where it was inedible. Very poor won't be going there again

On a business trip to Leicester a d booked in here for a week. Rooms are standard Premier Inn, comfy amd well kept. Reception staff are very friendly and in this heat have supplied chilled water for guests at reception. Room don't have AC but a fan is in the room, didnt help much and room was very hot, but a good shower was a welcome. Had breakfast supplied each day, eat as much as you like, very nice. Very helpful on one day when work started before and break was after breakfast hours, so was supplied with a breakfast takeaway, two sandwiches, one sausage, one bacon, pot yoghurt, bagel with butter and selection of jams, two small muffins, apple and banana, great service. Evening meal in the adjoined pub was good and selection of beers. All in all a nice hotel. Just outside of town, but with good connection to Leicester City by road and local bus route (Nexus Direct). If your visiting Leicester this is a good base away from the hustle and bustle of town. Recommended 👍

Friend and I went for breakfast. It was really nice. The staff were super friendly, there was no feeling of being rushed, the food was delicious, nice and fresh and the place itself bright and clean. Definitely going back.

Older property so no air con. Site does list property as having no air con. But even with table fans, which are provided, the room does get very hot. Beds are comfy. Lots of Free parking onsite. Free WiFi speed not the best.

We booked one night, Unforutnley it was during the five day heatwave, however the hotel staff did everything they could to keep us cool, provided us with a few fans and ice cubes. We were celebrating two momentums occasions, and so upon request they set up the rooms with balloons and sweet treats which was amazing. Overall staff were welcoming and kind, the rooms were clean. Downfall was the heat but that is no-one's fault.

Convenient for where we wanted to stay. In much need of a proper Air Con system it was particularly warm when we stayed, low 20s. What it must of been like in the recent heatwave?! Would stay again at a different time of year, maybe not in the summer again?
