A lovely walk through Leicester's astonishing Abbey. Just foundations there, but it's so filled with history and description, you can get do immersed. It's very calming and quiet, and absolutely lovely atmosphere, and the area is very well maintained by the council. Great place to go for a walk and unwind from a busy day and even learn a bit of history.

Beautiful park, shame lots of other people litter and disrespect but lots of lovely dog walkers and peaceful surroundings. The volunteers do a great job!

Beautiful day out, lovely park and great well kept flower gardens. There is a small animal farm and a short train that goes to certain areas of the park (worth checking out the website for further information). Cafe & toilets available.

This side of Abbey Park takes you into the past. Well maintained architectural monuments and beautiful nature, we even forget that we were in a city- very quite and peaceful. Ideal for couples, families (kids can walk/run or play around) and worth to walk by yourself and enjoy the nature, Highly recommended! 😍🥰

Lovely great big park... Boating area.. Cafe... Kids animal area.. Kids play area. Miniature railway.. Only open certain times.. Loads of lovely walk ways.. Beautiful flowers and trees.
