We visited for an Easter special for children. There was a sort of treasure hunt in the gardens and lots of craft activities for children. Children were given an art pack for £3. It was good but spoilt somewhat by the rain. It was very popular - as a result I had to park some distance away. I booked in advance but you could pat cash on the door

Beautiful gardens to spend a sunny afternoon. Helpful and friendly staff. Good tour which was very informative about Leicester's history. The rooms in the house itself need more effort to stage them to recreate the past grandure

Lovely museum with beautiful gardens for the kids to explore ...also large park across the road....parking can be difficult and no tea/coffee facilities but take a picnic

It's been a few years since I have been, I used to bring all my children to the school holidays events they were brilliant, I'm now doing them all again with my granddaughter but they are just not as well done, they lack the fun filled experience, this particular one lacked experience in all aspects, nowhere to have a drink and cake or snack with the kids never used to have to worry about bringing it all with me and the event itself was quite basic, the grounds we walked round for the trail were over grown and untidy I can honestly say it's the worst state I have ever seen the grounds of belgrave Hall, such a shame really.

Very interesting free tour today by Mark. Particularly about the families who lived here and the achievements of both the men & particularly the women of these families. A lovely hidden gem. Some great photos on display too from the Belgrave Heritage Trust. Shame there is no tea & cake on offer nearby.

Very interesting guided talk from Mark. Beautiful building, it’s a shame no original furniture left. Great info re the Ellis family and their importance to Leicester. The local area could do with some Lottery funding to bring it up to scratch… could be top notch

Had a great time at the Food Festival and open Gardens. Thank you LCC. Been attending that event since 2009. Except till the Pandemic hit us all.

Truly an amazing place, and very haunted. Went on an organised Ghost Hunt with Haunted Heritage to Belgrave Hall. Excellent staff, extremely well organised and had a ghostly experience... what more can I say.

Hidden away in a city. Lively as the hall and gardens is welcoming a Jubilee garden party today. Lots of plants and flowers to see. Gotta come see the blooms in July.

A very interesting historic place with superb gardens. I went on a guided tour and it was fascinating to see the inside the hall and gardens. Close to traffic free cycle and walking routes along the river Soar.

Lovely place , but as my dear, very old, mother says, "the gardens aren't a patch on what they used to be."

Worth going on a free tour to find out the fascinating history of the hall and the people who lived there. Our guide Mark was very informative and we learnt how influential the Ellis family were in the life of both Belgrave and Leicester.
