A nice place to sit, relax and watch the pigeons.

A wonderful, picturesque & peaceful place to sit. I use this area to relax & reflect on some of my experiences in life. A regular place for many people to sit & I observe many families & groups enjoying this space to meet & chat.

A lovely area of grass and benches. Was a very hot day for Leicester pride so decided to have a wander and found this pretty enclosure to sit down in. Plenty of benches to relax on during beautiful sunny weather. Fountain itself is very clean and well maintained :)

I love this place. So beautiful. Every time I walk there and spend lot of time sitting. You feel happy and free in this place

Quite a picturesque spot… calm pleasant and positive vibes

Went here on a Sunday morning (waiting for Prana Cafe next to it to open). Beautiful square and fountain. There were plenty benches around (mainly available at 10.30am) which we sat on. A great peaceful area to get away from the busy streets.

Love this place, the sound of the water is healing. Would be lovely to have music hours to listen to classical music at some hours as a future development of the attraction.

So calm n friendly atmosphere. Love to sit here n watch people’s activities. A lot of stories going on if u read around. Pigeons flying around n making the atmosphere more beautiful. On top of the beautiful burning sky colours. Just amazing. Had spent couple of hours there to meditate myself. This place is always busy because of Town Hall which is located right in the middle of city.

The kids love the fountain and all the Christmas decorations!

A beautiful place in the city centre for talk or eat something..

One of my favorite spots in the city center to spend some time with the pigeons around the fountain. It’s quite relaxing and there are a couple of benches for the visitors. If not, you can sit on the grassy area just behind the benches.

A little space in the centre of town to relax. On a nice day it's normally very crowded and noisy but it's nice to sit and watch the fountain. A great background for weddings which take place in the town hall adjacent. At Christmas time there is always a moving display and nativity scene. Also home a beautiful war memorial sculpture.

Came with running clubs from all over Leicester and Leicestershire to meet and sing great turn out all dressed up for Xmas too ☃️🌲🎁🎅🦌

It's a beautiful place for city central town hall square garden.Its public attract is more in all seasons.its a good place for visit with the family. On Christmas Eve it's a very populated on the Christmas day. It's also a place for coming with children's

Nice to place to sit and relax. Once you have walked around city center shopping, it is not a bad place to sit and enjoy the fountain. My children love feeding the pigeons and walking around the water fountain.

We went to see the Christmas decorations, which were great.

A very beautifully designed fountain! and all around this place is quite unique and nicely looking. Town hall is located near fountain and it have it's own unique, Integrated small "Big-Ben" like (if you will)- Clock Tower :) if you guys will visit Leicester so this is the must place to visit, and it's quite old historically!

Its nice to be here. Very lovely area with nice picture spots.

It's exactly what you would expect from a small town hall square. Nicely layed out, pathways from the adjoining streets, and a nice fountain (not operational at the time of the visit). Used as a staging area for events like the Chinese/Lunar New Year celebrations.

A well-kept, lovely little park. I love the fountain and it's great that there are benches around it to have a sit and admire it. The trees and flower patches around the perimeter are always very pretty. Overall, it's a lovely location to just have a little rest and enjoy the scenery.

A lovely spot to sit, eat lunch and watch the fountains. The only downside is the number of parents who allow unruly kids to chase the pigeons - kids need to be taught the importance of being kind to all beings, instead of thinking its OK to allow them to frighten the birds. If you visit here, please spare a thought for the birds, if you let your kids frighten the birds, do you also let them frighten other children?

Leicester's handsome ornamental fountain, together with the layout of Town Hall Square, was designed by Francis Hames, the architect of Leicester's Town Hall. The fountain is constructed of bronze-painted cast iron, Shap granite & Ross of Mull granite and was made at Val d’Osne foundry in Paris, France.

A very nice fountain, in Leicester. It is worth visiting at December time because there are many entertaining things there.

Lovely view the birds, the sound of water flowing brings a sense of peace and tranquillity however be aware of suspicious behaviour and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Nice place to sit down and relax at the heart of the city. Sometimes doves could be an annoyance because they are used to people feeding them at the park. There are benches around the water fountain for people to sit and watch the fountain.

Great place to listen to calming sounds of waterfall n unwind, watch people come n go, sometimes chat or help take photos, listen to clock bells chiming out the time of day.....love it 😀

Go every Xmas night... Really nice.

Nice town hall with friendly staff. Great for taking photos with if having your registry wedding there. It’s also nice outside for photos. I was also impressed that they had a nice fan to keep the registration room cool

A relaxing place to spend some relatively quiet time. Many pigeons, a beautiful fountain, surrounded by historic buildings. A good place to bring children or to take a break from a walk or a snack

its a beautiful place.. but lacking care. fountains needs good cleaning. ppl throwing all kind of rubbish in water. this year it has a lovely santa make over nice to see.
