Clean tidy rooms, freezing but once we turned heating on room warmed up reasonably quickly. Shower soap dryed out my skin which is unusual for me so use sparingly! Breakfast very good, good selection, good produce. Included in price good value for city centre. Overnight parking in ncp carpark over the road, validate and pay in hotel it's a better price we did and paid £15.00.

Hotel was decent - close walk from train station, town centre and coach station.. room was good size and clean! Friendly staff too.. *Negative* the side my room was on was direct to the town - I could hear loud drunk people and loud music all night and couldn’t sleep!

Great hotel! I've stayed here numerous times and have never been disappointed in service, and breakfast is always good! Highly recommend for a quick short break!

Good, well priced and central hotel. Decent if quite basic rooms, nice enough breakfast and a very positive and friendly welcome from the staff. Nice hotel bar too.

Pleasant stay here. Staff very friendly and efficient. Business room with king bed was light, airy and spacious. Could have done with a little luck of paint here and there, otherwise fine. Good breakfast and service. Location was excellent for city centre, parking and train.

Excellent service. The room we had booked into had a broken window latch, so it would not close. Staff were extremely efficient in moving us to a new room. Our room was clean and tidy, good facilities. All our interactions with the staff were friendly and professional. Definitely stay here again, only next time I'll make sure I have a breakfast! (It looked lush, we sadly had to leave early). Thank you all for a very pleasant stay.

Can see why their a 3-star hotel. Hotel is nice and in a good location. Room is good and cosy. Bathroom was dirty and drain in shower was blocked causing the bathroom to flood. Was offered a laundry service Friday afternoon, did not have laundry bags had to use shopping bags. Let them know I was leaving Sunday and they took my stuff, called Saturday to follow up no update. Called Sunday morning before check out and get a sorry we don’t do laundry on the weekend, we will bring back up your dirty clothes. Now I have no clothes as travelling, could have done it myself. Very disappointing as a hotel you don’t have weekends you operate 365 days a year.

Great Location, modern, clean and helpful/friendly staff. Great bar in the lobby fairly priced. Car park is 1 min walk from hotel & Parking is discounted by hotel to £15 for 24hours which would be the only downside to this hotel for me but this is due to such a central location & I guess that’s the price you pay. Didn’t have breakfast but lots of places close by so if you choose not to have breakfast with your room, plenty of choices close by.

I wanted to love this place - good value, the staff were all charming, the room was spotless and the breakfast was hot and plentiful. But the first floor "family" room wasn't fit for purpose - just a sagging sofa bed squashed next to the double. The sofa bed couldn't accommodate my children, aged 9 and 6, comfortably - it was too small and dipped in the middle so they kept waking each other up. And the Saturday night street noise was horrific. I'm aware you're going to end up with a bit of traffic in a city centre location but we all woke up multiple times between 11pm-4am with revellers, racing cars and sirens going off every few minutes. All in all a terrible night.

Overall, it was a good experience. The food was fantastic. Rooms were just what you wanted on a couples night out. The location was right next door to where we were visiting.

Location was great for the Curve Theatre and bars. Disappointed at breakfast with lack of attention given. Eg. Not shown to the table or told routine of getting breakfast as to where things were. No bread asked for some and a whole loaf was put in front of me still in its bag. Not displayed on bread tray provided. Later on another member of staff did it. Hot food not very hot just warm. On checking out the man on the desk was very kind and polite.

Hotel clean and adequate. On returning home and checking my bank account I saw I was charged twice for the room. Still waiting for a response from customer services. If you don’t want the additional hassle of dealing with this incompetence then consider using a different hotel chain for your stay in Leicester.

Perfectly fine chain hotel. Friendly enough, clean enough although the room was a little shabby. Great location.

So the first crazy part of my visit here was you have to pay £25 per night to park in the hotel’s car park. This is after paying £100 per night for the hotel room. So I opted to park at the NCP for £17 per day and walk about a min to the hotel. The room had no wardrobes! First time I’m experiencing this. They were 2 poles on the wall with 2 pairs of hangers on each pole. That was the wardrobe. The breakfast was okay, usual English breakfast. The staff was respectful. There’s a gym and the location is pretty decent.

Booked a two night stay on the basis of reviews, the Ramada brand, and photos . Sadly, none of this matched our experience . The room we were given 216, the drains in the shower smelled, and left the room smelling unpleasant. Went to reception to complain. Staff were very friendly and changed the room with no problem. Given room 611, it was worse. OK, no smell, but the mould growing on the windows and shower walls and floor, and food debris in the desk chair.Rather unpleasant and a health risk. Complained again ,showed photos we took. They said they would forward our complaints , heard nothing on the matter, and tried to find another hotel. But due to horse racing in Leicester, no other place is available. The girl on reception the next morning was friendly, took copies of our pictures, and forwarded them to management. Offered a free breakfast , yeah, right, big deal. For the price of £200, I feel cheated and conned. Could have gone to a lesser hotel for less and had a better room , do not book this hotel room badly in need of maintenance and a thorough clean . Especially the showers, health risk on the horizon

City centre location. Stayed on fifth floor. Rooms were immaculate and such a comfy bed. Scored 4 for the room due to the double glazing not quite doing its job. Cold coming in and loud outside and in a city centre location needs to be better. Parking for 24 hours available less than a minutes walk away also was great.

Disappointing room, service and breakfast. Broken TV. 1.5 hour wait to move to another room. Reception not picking up the phone. Customer issues not resolved. I would have had a better stay with IBIS Budget hotels.

Careful leaving your car in the NCP car park advised, our car was broken into during our stay. Hotel was clean, staff welcoming and approachable, family friendly.

To start with I had booked a room for 3 nights over a month in advance. This was all fine until two days before a lady called Niki had called to say she was going to cancel my booking. She said I will have to pay a higher price to stay instead of what I was told at first. Prices of hotels at that time were stupidly high therefore I had no choice but to pay the price as I needed somewhere to stay. Niki was very rude as she wasn't listening to my concern and resulted in saying 'I rather you not stay here and book somewhere else, I can cancel your booking for you.' The customer service provided was poor as she had no intention of trying to help me out as the price difference was stupid that she had given. I don't understand how someone give you a price on something and then try cancel your booking two days before and tell you that you then have to pay the current price despite booking months in advance.

Clean, big rooms. Have had better food in other hotels but not bad. All of the staff though, are brilliant, very helpful and very kind.

The hotel is central. It is walking distance to the the main shopping area approximately 3 minutes and 9 minutes from the train station. I have stayed a few times. One of the rooms, I stayed in the bathroom had a musty smell. Another room the bathroom sink was blocked and there was left over papers from the previous people. I did report the issues on both occasions to the front desk and they said they will look into it. All in all it is good value for money, you will get a good night's sleep. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

We stayed for 5 nights confident in our stay having used this hotel before. Apart from a minor issue, which was resolved to our complete satisfaction with expediency, our time here proved perfect. The staff, without exception, were polite & courteous whilst observing all Covid-related protocols. The hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast comprised a reasonable selection of hot and cold buffet items, with replenishments occurring frequently. We would not hesitate to return.

Fantastic location. Very clean, friendly staff and a really nice buffet breakfast. Not much else to add really. 🤷‍♂️👍

Said there were no rooms on the phone. On arrival said there were rooms for £100 deposit then £125 for the night. Not very professional service and got bigger/better room and more professional service nearby. Have stayed before with much better service and much cheaper rates.

Cracking hotel with outstanding staff. Easy check in process after our long 4 minute walk from the train station! Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Friendly bar staff and very reasonably priced drinks. Hotel is a few minute walk from the market place and loads of places to eat and drink. We would definitely return here

The staff here are really friendly and helpful. A good spacious room, which was clean and as you would expect. I wasn’t a massive fan of their air conditioning which is centrally controlled so if you’re feeling a little hot and they’re not then tough. Its in a really handy location for the city centre. I paid a little extra for the breakfast which was good quality and there was plenty of it. But they were a little slow refreshing items which ran out. The discounted NCP rate was an added bonus and made the room rate even better value. I’ll happily stay here again next time I visit Leicester.

The room is relatively large. The sofa is very comfortable. The wind power of the air conditioner is not ideal. The most commendable is the bathroom. The water temperature and pressure are comfortable. The frustrating thing is that the wireless network is too slow, and I even have to use my own 5g network.

Room odd shape, no light in middle of room. Bed was very uncomfortable and duvet small. WiFi is non existent. Shower had hole so sprayed everywhere! No information regarding the ongoing work in the bar area!!! Location was the only reason we booked for my daughter's graduation., this was a big mistake!

Stayed on a hen party, the room was lovely and clean. The beds were super comfy, my friend wanted to take it home. Breakfast was very tasty.

Great location, really close to everything that Leicester has to offer. Liked the bar area downstairs with a small amount of space to sit outside which was perfect for watching the world go by. Entrance to the lifts is by key card, for added security. Our room was really nice, a large window made it light and bright. The bed was extremely comfy and loved the pillows We were on the 4th floor and it was very quiet, so slept well. Parking was at an ncp car park approx 5 mins walk away Great location would stay here again

Please for the love of God upgrade to functional hairdryers. I don't want RSI from drying my long hair because I have to the hold the button in for some lukewarm air. I didn't realize I'd gone back to the 70s. Bathroom soaking wet from shower as there's no door. No hand towel and the pull out bedding has no bedding.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate. Breakfast was hot, plentiful and of a high quality. We did not use the restaurant for the evening as we were visiting family. 2min walk to the Clock Tower. The biggest problem we found was parking, the hotel has limited onsite parking which is £25 Per day. Best to park in the NCP carpark across the road and you get a discount from the hotel.

We had stayed here last minute as our original holiday apartment got cancelled, must stay they just overturned our messed holiday back in full form. We arrived pass midnight with little kids , they have been constantly helpful and great service from staff team . A very good value for money , the breakfast options needs commented. Rooms were well cleaned and kept in good form, No job was big to the staff, and the manger considered our reservation and was helpful in getting the refund for the room which we didn't use. Few people have commented about the wifi, bathroom, showers. Must bear in mind this is a very ecomnomical hotel but serves better than premier inn or Travelodge in my opinion.

SHAME ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT!! Guys, please don’t stay here. We paid for 2 disabled adjoining rooms with an extra bed in each. We got 2 NON DISABLED rooms, 2 floors apart with no extra beds. When we complained we were told we couldn’t have it. After explaining we eventually got 1 disabled and 1 room. NO EXTRA BEDS. I was promised a manager at 10 am. Waited at reception for 1.5 hours. Went back to enquire when he was coming: only to be told “oh he isn’t coming’. Again promised by 1 pm. I’m sure you get the drift. Eventually spoke briefly to OWAIS who had the audacity to say ‘it was only a request’ we give the rooms out if someone else wants them. REALLY???? We eventually got moved to adjoining rooms, only 1 has disabled access and the extra bed. Here’s the icing on the cake. I was to show screenshots of what we paid for and the night staff would feed back to him. OWAIS response to this was give them free drinks. Now, I’m not sure how the free drinks were going to help get an extra bed or disabled access. As you can imagine, we refused these. This “manager” then advised his staff to tell me. “They have a room and they stayed, so they’re getting nothing.” My response: We still DON’T have what we paid for. I’ve wasted 24 hours waiting for a manager that’s more elusive than the Scarlet Pimpernel and when he did speak to me he had NO customer service whatsoever. Poor show.

Stayed one night, the bed was incredibly comfortable and room very clean, however the bathroom was tired with blown lightbulbs and cracked shower fittings. We used a conference room on arrival and service was very underwhelming, once lunch was eaten we were forgotten about with a relatively small group rapidly running out of clean cups, biscuits etc. Shame really as the staff we met were lovely

Clean, Well located, excellent service, nice straightforward breakfast. In my opinion all you could ask for a hotel. Will always stay here when In Leicester I give it a 10 out of 10. Very well managed accommodation!
