I payed £60 for two people had booked a room for two people and we had a double bed but a single quilt. There was no curtains no TV and the bed was really uncomfortable there was no phone to call reception. For such a cheap price would be better for a homeless person.

If I could give this no stars I would honestly! This was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my whole life I never thought I would stay in such a hotel before. This felt like a punishment rather than a stay. I was just looking for a cheap hotel to stay in for the night while I was in Leicester saw this . Booked it went there and I couldn’t believe the state of my room. Had no TV? Had no Heating? They gave me a rusty electric plug in heater I was scared it would blow up. The side of the bed was dusty if I wasn’t so tired I would’ve actually pulled an all nighter. Never again. However the staff were nice they just need to shut down this hotel and fix it up properly and it will all be good which I doubt would ever happen it’s veryyyy outdated and dusty.

Welcome reception and staff were pleasant. I stayed in room 3 and for the price paid it's fine. My main bugbear was that there was no mattress protector that I could find. Rooms are basic and furnished simply. The bathroom was done to a good standard and clean. Mattress is old so don't expect a good sleep if you're fussy. I'd happily stay here again at the price paid if I'm working in the area.

The staff were friendly and polite, though the loud TV downstairs running through to what seemed like midnight at least could be a problem for some people. On arrival we were informed that there was no hot water. There were no signs to indicate we got to the right place, everyting felt hugely dated, especially the rooms, with worn brown carpet, what seemed like second or third hand beds. Fresh pillows and duvets, but the bedding was not of a typical hotel quality. Pillows were mismatched and uneven, and only one pillow per person. One chair, no TV, no bedside table or bedside lamp. Toilet seat was broken, bath generally dirty, and polystyrene cups to make a drink if you would like. There was a single size duvet cover on a king size duvet, and the cover itself was ripped. It's heart breaking to leave such a bad review, but hopefully it gives the owners an indication of what to look at, because you can see from everything they're doing, they're really trying, it's definitely a work in progress. It's a comfortable place to stop in if you're looking for no frills, cheap as chips accomodation.

Like the customer last month my room was cancelled with 3 days notice. 3 others in our party had their room cancelled with 2 days notice. No explanation offered. Do not book this hotel, a confirmed booking is clearly meaningless.

Cancelled my booking 2 days before I was due to visit. Very poor customer service and the story I was given appeared untrue. Avoid unless you want to change travel plans at late notice and be massively inconvenienced.

Stayed for one night there and whilst a fair bit of refurb is going on to update the hotel, the service and help from the staff was great. I came with a motorbike and they went out of their way to help store the bike overnight safely. So can’t fault them for that. Looking forward to seeing the hotel fully fitted out, but will come again in the meantime as the service from the staff was great.

I have room with no door locker. In the mide of the night people who I don't know has walked to my room, it was difficult to kick them out. Worst experience ever. I rather sleep next time outside.

Very bad experience over here. Basic needs like towel, heating, cups, were not provided. The number given for service was not working. They even didn't bother to check back. Alot of money but no services.😡

The most basic hotel I have ever stay in! Lights did nor work nor the soap dispensers, Kettle did reach the socket TV you need to login via your phone or laptop which I presume you need to pay! Leaking toilets, mildew!!!

Terrible and outdated. Place looks so so tacky from the outside with the cheap lights. Looks very out of place in this lovely location. Place needs demolishing if I'm honest.

The worst place I have ever stayed i would not recommend using this hotel at all. Ladders in the hall way rubble in car park and it smells like people smoking in the hotel as well. Blocked drain in shower so you get to bath in every one eles yuk. There's a list I can go into but I won't

The hotel was filthy, there was a pile of toenails in the middle of the room, it was noisy. The receptionist would not provide a receipt for our stay so can't even claim the cost back. Awful, awful place

AVOID AVOID AVOID Would give 0 stars if I could Booked a one night stay months in advance Reservation cancelled less than 48h before by voicemail and no suitable alternative offered leaving us nowhere to stay after having booked transport Phoned and the customer service was extremely poor kept saying it’s secret why they have to cancel Offered me alternative but I had to pay another 138 pounds despite it being their fault

Stayed for 1 night with a large group, the guys were very welcoming upon arrival and showed us to our rooms, they are going through a refurb at the moment and are doing a great job with it, this hotel has some great potential! Look forward to staying again and seeing the finished result! Well done guys!

Worst experience in my life. Zero tolerance for unfair cancellation practices of this hotel. They f...d my weekend properly. Bad communication and unfriendly staff. Don't go there!

This hotel was once known as the Stoneycroft. It seems to be going through a major facelift but being done slowly. First impressions are not good as the hotel looks derelict from the outside. The welcome was warm enough but a quick scan of the lobby, adjoining rooms and corridors shows major work needing done. The room was clean but very basic, eg no TV. No meals on offer but this is reflected in the price. Location requires a half hour walk into city centre. Ok for a one night stopover if only looking for somewhere to sleep.

Honestly avoid at all costs. Upon check in they told us the hotel has no hot water and we need to find alternative accommodation. All other hotels were fully booked and we had to leave what we had planned to stay for and go back home. We were left stranded

On arrival we were informed that there was no hot water in the rooms. The sign outside (which I assume should have had the name of the place on) was broken. I found an insulin pen in the foyer and handed it to the girl stating that it may be very important to whoever has lost it but she just looked at me in confusion. They had tried to shove a king size duvet into a single duvet cover. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Overall, very expensive for very little.

Stayed here a couple of times, rooms were clean, staff were friendly. Does (or did) need a lot of TLC but you get what you pay for, don't expect the Ritz and you won't be disappointed. Good location, off road parking, perfect for getting your head down after hitting the delights of Leicester!

NOT impressed with this hotel. The room was dirty with black mould in the shower and human hair on the bathroom floor. The bathroom door was hard to close and even harder to open when exiting. The curtains were broken and the nets didn't fit the window. We could not open the curtains. My wife ordered scrambled eggs for breakfast but had to send them back as they was way to much salt in them. They have a flag flying outside that has been ripped in half. When we checked out I handed over the key to the receptionist only to be called two hours later and accused of not leaving the key. This was not a pleasant call and at the end the lady slammed down on me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone but advise to give it a wide birth.

The room was absolutely horrible. There were dirty marks and damp on the walls. The bathroom light didn't work. There were dirty plates left on a shelf. Coffee and tea making facilities but no cups. No TV and the wifi didn't work. The only member of staff I dealt with was OK. Restaurant was closed for refurbishment but advertised on their website as opened. The bed was uncomfortable and very old. The curtains were awful and the window had a broken latch. There was a horrible smell in the room but they had supplied a air freshener which was empty. If you want a better experience than this hotel try sleeping on a park bench.

Booked at this hotel, bad mistake. Rooms stank ,dirty beds, funishing and carpets. Shower room mouldy .didn't look to hard for the insect life. Just took our bags and left . Never again ,doesn't even deserve 1 star .maybe for the off road parking a half star

DO NOT STAY HERE! Venue has a completely different name to what was advertised on the website I booked on. They take illegal copies of your ID on arrival for “police purposes” what they don’t tell you is they do not comply with GDPR and they store this information indefinitely instead of destroying it like they should. Room was dated, disgustingly dirty and tiny. It’s advertised they have Air Conditioning but they don’t even have windows you can open when it’s 30 degrees outside let alone providing you with a fan, but it’s ok because they have fans to keep themselves cool behind the reception desk. Oh and I hope you like people being able to just walk into your room because the rooms don’t have door latches or locks that work properly!
