The location is good, not too far away from city center, the room was large and the bed was very comfortable for the price of the room. Your get a free breakfast with your visit which wasn't gourmet but had a variety of choice and delicious none the less. The workers were all nice and gave a very homely feel to the place.

Cheap hotel in an excellent location, right in the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was simple and so was the breakfast buffet, but that is to be expected at a hotel of this price. Some people complain about noise at night, for which I have two replies: firstly this wasn't a problem for me; secondly you should expect at least a little noise if you stay in the centre of any city - if you don't like it, don't stay in the centre. If you want a classy experience then look elsewhere, but if you want a cheap night at a very reasonable hotel for the price in a superb location then this is for you. I would definitely stay again.

Such a lovely hotel, very warm and welcoming. Just a short walk to the city centre and the train station. Rooms are very spacious and the hotel is always very clean. Staff members are very welcoming. Magda and Anita (apologies if I spelt either name incorrectly) are absolute angels and made me and my family's stay very pleasant.

Great stay! I've stayed for one night with my friend in a twin room. The room was nicely decorated and very spacious. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is just great close to university and restaurants, breakfast also lovely! Will definitely stay here again!

This hotel is amazing. Not only this place is charming but all the staff is the best one can get. Special thanks go to Magda who from day one gave us more then we could expect. They gave us a cot for our baby and also brought us a toy for her to play with while we are here. Magda also made available everything we needed to make our experience here in Leicester amazing. This place is clean, water pressure is great, breakfast is plentiful and well managed. All the staff is warm and caring.

Had an amazing stay at castle park Hotel, was in Leicester for 3 nights whilst attending a business conference. I was late arriving, however it was very easy to check in. This is a lovely place to stay, very clean, friendly helpful staff, great continental breakfast, very good location and lovely decor. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. I would recommend this beautiful hotel

Very good location, service excellent and wifi very good. Breakfast good. Be aware, next to pub, noisy some times with people and traffic. Some rooms vary in size and comfort. Would I recommend place , Yes. If you want peaceful and quiet hotel, not this.

Great location to train station and city centre that is all ,the room is small and compact all electric sockets behind furniture so difficult to use ,the bathroom is tiny , sink too large covers the toilet so sat at a angle ,only 2 towels for the weekend which we used first day ,when using the shower no where to put toiletries, and the noise early hours from people goin home after there night out carried on until gone 6am on Sunday morning !!!! I have stayed in better places for the same price would not class this as a hotel .

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, loooovely breakfast. Were so good to me and my family last year when we were evicted and had nowhere to go. After being here for one night we were moved to the most vile, disgusting hotel in Leicester, we stayed there for a few days and didn't see one single cleaner the whole time.... Naturally we (I) vocally expressed my disgust with this hotel to the council (who had put me my partner and my two children there) and we were moved back to Castle Park. They could've said no but they didn't and we wasted no time going back to this hotel where they knew how to take care of their guests. If I ever moved out of Leicester and had to come back for any reason, this is where I'd stay. The rooms are so nice and the cleaner works so hard every day. Bathroom was clean and nicely fitted. Tbh even though we have a lovely little house now I often think about and miss staying at this hotel. Thank you for taking card of us, I can't tell you how much we appreciated it xx

Very central, 5 min till downtown, clean, my room was big enough, perfect for one night staying. Breakfast was enjoyable, less until a Chinese jerk was fart and burp at table – c’mon dude, really! Do you think is China here? Girl who was in the reception was very nice, also in charge with breakfast, who was enough for me. I don’t remember if they were having something warm. Coffee was good.

Stay was decent. Hotel is located in a great central place. Pay wasn't too bad for a 2 night stay. A downside is that for this I had to share the bathroom which was located on a different floor. Also the view from my room wasn't that great (the fact that the wi dows were opaque helped). But another great thing was the fact that the breakfast was fully stocked and got me to a great start in the morning.

Centrally located, with the city noise you would expect. Our room was small but tidy, with a good en-suite and plenty of hot water. Hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a small continental-style buffet with plenty of options. Most rooms are up at least one flight of stairs and breakfast is served in a downstairs room, which is a consequence of the nice old building. Overall, very good value for the night's stay, and I'd be happy to visit again.
