I have stayed in loads of Travelodges and they are all pretty much the same. This one was reasonably priced with a spacious room, comfortable bed, television, tea and coffee, a good shower and was very clean. Lots of free parking spaces on site. Friendly and happy staff. My only one complaint would be the paper thin walls, you could here every tiny little sound, but apart from that I had a lovely 5 night stay and I would stay again.

Honestly just stay at the premier inn down the road from here. Granted work only booked an hour before arrival but clearly room had been made up after someone checked out but no fresh towels provided. the hand towel was a manky yellow and laid out over the toilet. The toilet constantly flushed a slight amount meaning the flusher didn’t work making me not use the toilet the entire stay. walls and ceilings are paper thin, don’t expect silence by all means but could hear everything from neighbouring rooms. price isn’t so budget that makes these nags worth it.

Requested a disabled room when booing. Room was on the ground floor, the doorways were a little narrow only being single doors. The door to the room needed a coat of paint and the lock on the door was loose as if it had been forced. Double room for 2 adults only 2 pillows on the bed. 1 large and 1 small towel in bathroom . Unfortunately the toilet had not been cleaned since the last occupant who had left behind a gift shall we say in the toilet. Carpet was dirty, I walked around the room in my white socks that became filthy from the carpet. Paid £89.00 for the room but the biggest shock was there wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom. Informed the lady on reception and she replied, well we've run out of toilet roll. I asked to be refunded for the room but as if by magic a flustered receptionist appears with some toilet paper !! Will not ever be booking there again. Shocking

Got this at a good price a week before the Friday night stay. Arrived quite late due to roadworks but no issues with the time of arrival. Good car parking with plenty of space and more round the back. At some point bathroom redone changing from bath to a shower. Everything clean and ok. Pub was next door if you wanted food etc. Slightly disappointed that there was no power or usb by bed but the desk had plenty of power points, and TV was decent with HDMI inputs. Room came with 2 reasonably comfy casual chairs. Plenty of floor space if wanting to do exercises etc and storage area by the door. Surprisingly rooms still used key for room for and also main entrance. Quite a quiet area just outside Leicester convenient for nearby events. Shame no basic WiFi included in price

OK for a Christmas break for one night but we had very noisy neighbors and the door separated rooms, didn't help. Shower was grubby. Could do with a bit of a re fresh with decor. Handy for our parents and still good value.

We only stayed the one night, but it did it's job perfectly. The room was clean all round, the beds were comfy and the noise was minimal. There isn't much around, but there is a small Tesco Express within walking distance, 2mins, and there is a country type pub next door, but there was no noise coming from it. The member of staff on the reception desk was really polite and welcoming, which made staying here that little bit better, so all in all, a good night with no complaints.

We arrived late as a group of six and were met by Jakub on reception. Our lead group member went up to the front to check us in, at which point Jakub interrupted him and told him to wait and he’ll check us in ‘one by one’ which was bizarre as our lead member had all the info. So we waited.. and waited.. until 5 minutes later he sarcastically looked up at us and said ‘so do you want to check in or not!?’, we explained that our lead group member had already tried to do so but that he had stopped him. Receptionist Jakub then tried to explain himself saying that our group member should ‘be more manly and forward’ to represent the group.. what!!?? He had literally tried to check in and you stopped him from doing so!!! So bizzarre. We were all so confused from the exchange. Rooms smelled of urine, bedding had stains on it. Budget hotel at its worst. Avoid if you can

Quite location. Plenty of parking and about 20 minutes in to the city centre. Family room (Room 5) was small, not fully prepared on arrival. The room needs refurbishing. Shower only in this room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Vending machine in reception.

Great value for money and a good location. Sadly the decor is a little bit tired and some updating is required. The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean.

I was stopping on the ground floor , there's no sound insulation from the rooms upstairs with extremely creaky floorboards,it sounded like a herd of elephants were in the room above stomping about and creaking all night , I hardly slept , when I was nodding off I heard this fluttering sound then something land next to me , I turned the light on to realise a German cockroach had sieg heiled on to my pillow next to my head .....yuck ....so then I inadvertently felt things crawling on me all night. finally nodded off must of been 3am to get woke up by people partying at 3.40am.....so not the best stay. 😒

Carpet very dirty. Can't close toilet door. Breakfast (if I can call it breakfast) out of stock 😕 No privacy in day time as no net curtain in the window. If you can stay away from this hotel!!!!!

Bit of a mixed bag! We chose to say here as we were visiting the city for Radio 2 in the Park. The price for 3 nights was very affordable at the time of booking and has the benefit of free parking too. We arrived at Friday tea time and were checked in by Hayley. Hayley was great, offering us lots of tips about the local area and had a really positive energy. We checked into our twin room (room 11) on the ground floor and were pleasantly surprised. No, it’s not particularly modern but it was clean and spacious. We were on the ‘quiet’ side of the hotel away from the main road and pub next door. We didn’t spend much time in our room of course but we did find our sleep to be quite significantly affected due to the design of the hotel. The room divisions have absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever. You can hear the hollowness when you tap on the wall. We had very quiet neighbours on the Friday but could hear every word of the couple next to us conversations on the Saturday. This went on til 1am and started with phone calls again at 7am on Sunday morning. They may as well have been in the room with us. This, coupled with the creakiest floorboards in the rooms above made for a tiring weekend. I’m not sure if the cleaners closet was above us but it was constant marching around each morning. Thankfully my ear plugs could depress much of that noise. I did mention our neighbours to Hayley and she very kindly made some changes so we wouldn’t be disturbed as much on the Sunday night. She’s an asset to the company. I just can’t understand why Travelodge hasn’t done anything about the noise issues as it seems to be the crux of so many reviews and I can only imagine the hassle staff must deal with on a daily basis. It could be a really lovely place to stay with a bit of investment.

The lady on reception there was so helpful to us on the evening of Wednesday 8th November when our car was smashed into from the rear by another vehicle at the entrance of the Travelodge. She showed concern and even made my wife and I a cuppa while we waited for the recovery lorry.

It’s a travel lodge and we were only staying one night so not feeling too fussy - free parking and a great pub just next door and the receptionist was so friendly and helpful it all felt very promising. The room was clean and airy - we did need to shut the window and pop the heating on as the weather is turning now but that was no hardship. Bed was comfy but sleep disturbed often through the night due to the noise of other guests - stairs next to us and very thin walls and floors - could almost make out conversations of others and worried someone would fall through the ceiling!!! Shower cubicle was small and even with just a quick short wash, the bathroom floor was soaked - and no floor mat provided.

Whenever in Leicester always try to stop here, the only downside is pricing it changes so quickly irrespective of booking 2 days before or a month before. You can't go from £39.99 to £79.99 overnight. Have now found a place with better rates, shame really as the pub next door Red Cow is brilliant

Rooms a little grubby but not dirty, bed sheets and towels clean and fresh. So noisy, it seems the walls are paper thin, because of this and our very noisy neighbours we didn't get much sleep either night.

I don't rate Travelodge Leicester Hinckly Road. Less modern than some of the other travelodges in Leicester. My room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, especially the bathroom. Thin walls and noisy neighbours. Staff to busy having cigarettes outside to work on the desk. It did its job as a bed for the night, but I wouldn't visit again out of choice.

Sitting in my room 5:58am on Sunday morning and staff doing work. Why? This hotel is paper thin. If you’re a light sleeper I’d try somewhere else. Premier Inn are millions x better.

Although basic and a bit dated, the room was absolutely fine and both my friend and I slept like logs. We did not experience any noise, but there are signs up asking guests to consider others and try to be quiet. As we arrived Sarah greeted us and she could not have been more helpful, so 5 stars go to her as well. Cheerful, polite and hoped we were going to have a nice time at the 80th birthday bash we were going too. Even made a point of asking us how the evening went. Very helpful in sorting out a taxi for us. Would we stay there again. Yes. Pub next door for meals, but not breakfast.

Room was nice and clean, also smelt it lovely. We had missing items in our room but the friendly gent called Jit on reception quickly a efficiently sorted it out, thank you very much. Bed very comfy and there was an assortment of pillows and the water was also nice and hot. Good value for money. Thank you.

Room and service was pretty basic - didn't like the fact you could clearly hear adjacent rooms talking 🤔,if I had to choose a hotel it definitely wouldn't be this one.

Awful. Was here for 4 nights with work. Walls are paper thin, one room watching TV until 2am and arguing on a Wednesday night, other room on phone permanently which I could hear word for word. No one on reception after 10pm??? Asked to move rooms which they did but not much better. Rooms are tired, carpets worn/threadbare and faded, front door had a broken window, TV speakers were broken. Floors squeak like your on an old wooden ship? Could be a goldmine but I would never go back.
