Been here on numerous events for occasions such as weddings and a wake. Beautiful venue, food is excellent and staff accommodating for guests is exceptional. Rooms could do with some upgrades here or there as they're a little outdated and could do with some minor adjustments to keep the originality but ensure some modernization. Not the biggest of venues for large parties, unless making use of the outdoor areas too (entirely weather dependant) but, is perfect for small wedding parties and small wakes.

A perfect place for breakfast, lunch or dinner in an atmospheric interior where you will find many places that will take you back to the old days. The whole, together with the chapel, creates a wonderful layout and is an ideal place for a wedding reception. Not only is the interior delightful, you can also feel the charm of this place on the outside. Although the main building dates back to the 17th century, it was already mentioned in the Domestey Book and it belonged to the Knights Templar for a long time. Absolutely worth the visit and of course the photo session at the wedding.

My wife and I had our wedding at Rothley Court and I can't recommend it enough. The staff were amazing, the food was great and the hotel is beautiful.

We got married here and had an incredible day. We've been married 2 years now and both anniversaries we have celebrated by staying at Rothley Court. We were given free prosecco and had amazing food. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The beds are really soft and comfy - the best out of any hotel I've stayed at. We hope to spend every anniversary here!

Tatty old room with awful bathroom. Looked more like a halls of residence bathroom from the 1970's than a hotel! TV wasn't on the wall, but fixtures and wiring looked like it should have been. TV dumped on the dressing table, so that couldn't be used. Room smelt awful. There were no net curtains, and we were on the driveway, so for privacy, we had to have the cutains closed for the whole duration of our stay. Quality of breakfast poor. Hashbrown looked like it had just been defrosted and not cooked properly. Tasted of old fat. Wouldn't waste my money here again.

Booked here for a party- place was nice with a lovely building however the food was horrific. From the roast pork to the burgers and steak all were dry and lacking any flavor. Overall just hoping I don’t get food poisoning from my burger which was incredibly dry and cheese like rubber. One lady who served us was very kind and patient however some other people who served us were not the most considerate. For the food the price was ridiculous and not worth it one bit! However at least now I know not to come again- I would definitely not reccomend to come especially not for the food, and if you do go make sure not to book when there is a wedding going on as you will not get any attention and it will be very stressed. I would overall reccomend that they are much better places to go for a meal where the atmosphere and the food both are wonderful, sadly this is not the place.

Our favourite place to go for a drink in Rothley. Absolutely stunning building and grounds, lovely staff, reasonable prices. I recommend having a peek in the chapel if you can!

Had our wedding here in June. There is a whole list of what went wrong and ruined our day, however the main ones are that a guest was served raw chicken (the venue did rectify this when notified by the guest but this should not have happened in the first place). Hotel rooms that were reserved against a debit card months in advance, were double booked to the public, so some guests had to suddenly make other accommodation arrangements during the wedding. We had issues during the planning and had met with the wedding coordinator and a deputy manager 5 months before the wedding. We were reassured that they are a professional venue that are very experienced with weddings. However the day did not go to the expectations they had painted. They had even offered for a refund on their non-refundable deposit if we had decided not to go ahead after the meeting we had (think that speaks for itself!). Just be wary, as unfortunately after all the planning, effort and money we put into this, our wedding is a day we now don't want to remember.

Absolutely fantastic. We booked for an evening meal in the restaurant and nothing was too much for them. Staff were great, polite, understanding and went the extra mile for the special dietary needs. Food was superb, excellently presented, hot and tasted spot on. All the party really enjoyed the meal and the drinks. Would highly recommend, advise to book well in advance.

Attended this venue for the marriage of friends. What a stunning place! Gorgeous gardens and a delightful building offer an idyllic setting. Prices were quite high for the standard provided but that is to be anticipated at places like this. Staff were a mixed bag of friendly/insular and competent/not so much. We all have off-days. Still, the staff were accommodating and dealt with our rowdy rabble admirably. Highly recommended.

Huge thanks to Ben at Rothley Court. I messed up my booking by booking the wrong weekend. He managed to sort it out and give me the superior wood paneled room I had seen on the website! He's a star for getting me out of a hole. Food very good and sensible prices. Staff all very friendly. Room was great, old and quirky which I wanted. Thanks for a great stay and big thumbs up for Ben, thanks again.

We visited the restaurant and the menu was full of good choices. Not overwhelming and everything was reasonably priced. Food was delicious and the interior was amazing. Staff was super friendly, especially Sydney who made everyone feel special. She was the only one who were actually smiled in general when we were there. Huge thanks for everyone there, who made our visit enjoyable.

We went to my husband's office party. Starter and dessert, I loved it. 😍 but I'm a spice lover, so I don't like the main course. The presentation and the workers are so good at their jobs. And there is a dancing 💃🕺 place also. Overall the place I'd very nice 👌👍🤩

Myself and my wife got married at Rothley Court 11 years ago, so has a special place in our hearts. It's a beautiful place to visit, it's got history written all over it, the restaurant is lovely, it's got a nice bar area and has outside seating, the staff are always lovely, helpful and welcoming. It's just a stunning place to visit to have a drink or food.

We booked a table for 11 for my son's 21st birthday and even though they were busy with functions, the staff were attentive and looked after us. Food was excellent and quick to arrive. It is a beautiful building in a stunning setting I will be returning thank you to the chef and staff.

Had a family member's civil ceremony and it was beautiful. The back area near the bar was gorgeous. The front lawn was kept neatly, very green. Stunning old trees that tower over the grounds!

We stayed at Rothley court hotel for a friends wedding and they couldn’t help us enough from the minute we got there to the minute we left. Rooms are very clean and the bed is so comfy, best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. We will defiantly be back again for another stay.

Room needs some TLC. Only one chair in a double room and that had a rip in it. Breakfast was a let down not enough pastries to go round, only had smoked bacon definitely not to most peoples tastes eggs not drained so the toast was wet and soggy no toast for the marmalade and only offered one coffee. I might stay again but would go into Rothley for breakfast

I went here for breakfast this morning and I was initially anxious because I couldn't find a vegan option on the brunch menu but the bar tender was very helpful and substituted options on the vegetarian breakfast to suit my needs. He even checked if the biscuit that came with my coffee was vegan which I thought was very considerate! Great service.

We stayed at Rothley Court Hotel for a weekend away to watch our beloved Hammers take on Leicester and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and the free parking was a big bonus. The hotel has plenty of traditional character, and our superior room was a good size. The only minor issues were that the paint on the windows needed a touch up and there was a broken pane of glass in the bathroom. However, these were minor issues and did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, and there was a christening party being held on the day we stayed, but it didn't disturb us at all. We would definitely visit Rothley Court Hotel again. Here are some additional details about our stay: The staff were always friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The free parking was a great convenience, and it was easy to find a spot. The hotel has a lot of traditional character, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely recommend Rothley Court Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

We came for dinner we hadn't booked we just turned up. Mollie our waitress was the most welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond from beginning to end of our visit. Nothing was too much trouble, she always had a friendly smile and was happy to do anything for us. We had vegan pie which was lovely I then had the vegan Bakewell to finish OMG it was the most amazing, delicious, light and tasting pud I've tasted yet didn't need ice cream or custard as it was moreish. Thank You Mollie we will be back again 🥰😀😋

Don’t know never been there. This is not a review I have not been to this hotel for years. I’m sure it’s a perfectly fine. There was no intention to pass comment. Google pushed this at me and I said I don’t know never been there. No intention to cause problems at all.

Stayed here 14th-16th October the hotel from the outside is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning. The rooms are a bit tired there was a hole in the floor and electrical tape around the towel heater. One of the radiators didn't work however there was a portable heater in the room. We also got told when we arrived that there was a wedding on the saturday night, unfortunately you could here everything from the room we was in, Breakfast was well set out and the food was lovely. We didn't see many staff about the place tho. Unfortunately we Wouldn't stay again as its not our style.

The team hosted 27 of us for a 2-day corporate event and we’re nothing short of brilliant. They created a hassle free process from start to finish and their service really shone through! A great experience for us all and thank you!

Beautiful setting, I stayed in the old hall, nice room, but the bathroom could do with a refresh. Food was good and very reasonable, but the highlight of the hotel, is the staff, great staff, especially the lady who I assume is manager/assistant manager (I think her name was Charlotte), if she isn't the company needs to promote her, because her customer service was outstanding

I came here to attend a wedding. Main areas are very nice and the staff are very pleasant. We stayed in a building separate from the main hotel. It was comfortable but needs some TLC especially in the en suite.

We have just been to Rothley Court for Brunch for the first time and it was fantastic and very reasonably priced- less than most cafes in the area. Everything was cooked and served beautifully and there were so many choices for everyone including vegetarian options which was great for us. The mocktails were really interesting too. I would highly recommend calling in for Brunch. Thank you to all at Rothley Court!

Visited for a wedding and stayed overnight. A great venue for those getting married. We had a comfortable room in the main building and were told that the rooms in the annexe were good too. Delicious food and a good selection of drinks which were usual hotel prices (!)

Nice old fashioned building, in the beautiful town of Rothley. Receptionist was helpful and said we could bring our dogs in. Waiting staff were not friendly and didn't make us feel welcome. For the price paid, the portion size was not enough.

We had our wedding there at the weekend and everything was fantastic, had our blessing in the Chapel followed by a 3 course meal and speeches in the Wilberforce room followed by an evening disco in the same room, how the staff turned the room around so quickly is beyond me!!! Everything went so smoothly, the staff were fantastic particularly Laura who didn't stop all day, also big thanks to Kate our wedding coordinator for helping sort things out!!!

Excellent service and spacious room. Nice grounds and quiet. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. The only negative aspect is that there is no air conditioning which in the heatwave last week was not pleasant. Apart from that a delightful place to stay.

Just attended my nephews wedding here and what a lovely venue. The building is very old with tons of character, with the wedding breakfast held in the old Chapel. There were a couple of downsides to the day, firstly the toilets were not up to the volume of people that attended, also other guests of the hotel were mingling with the wedding guest during the hotel lunch service. But I would say that the food was very good and hot when served by friendly and helpful staff. Overall a great characterful wedding venue with a good food and a great atmosphere.
