I did not know that this park was here, and I was definitely missing out. This place is very beautiful and cosy. There is a wide range of plants here. As a gardening and tree enthusiast, I would recommend it.

Great little gem. Peaceful spot for a mini walk and some nice info about the trees. It is open on weekends now. The website should read botanic-garden and has more info if you go to the right site.

A lovely quiet patch of south Leicester with plenty of interesting and we'll labelled tree species. Lots of wildlife. Paths a little slippy underfoot, so recommend sturdy footwear.

Always a pleasure to visit. They are doing some major improvements. Took advantage of the free compost.

Once we found the entrance the arboretum is a very pleasant short walk. Car park is free and the grounds are excellently maintained. No gift shop or café just a pleasant walk in a park.

Lovely but we got wet, caught in one of the many showers that have been so prevalent in this soggy summer of 2023. Hoping to go again soon and enjoy the arboreal delights for which this place is so renowned. Good car park there and the provision of public toilets is very much appreciated.

It was OK, a few unusual trees but not a patch on the botanical gardens.

Beautiful location, really good for a short walk, close to a local pub if that's your sort of thing.

A wildlife haven in five acres of managed woodland. Accessible paths. Gate open off Carisbrooke Road with small carpark. Toilets.

Needs more development and to be more interactive and to be both a learning and relaxation space. The staff ranged from disinterested to rather incompetent e.g confused about helping us exit the car park. It could be super

Lovely place to walk and birdwatch with educational signage about plants and what eras they arrived in Britain

My lady and I both like trees so this is the place! The trees are laid out in the order that they arrived in the British isles after the great ice sheets melted. The amble round took about 90 minutes. There is a toilet and parking on site but you'll have to take your own munchies. Great stuff

Spent a lovely couple of hours with the kids at a Leicestershire Wildlife Trust event, where they got to make a lantern from bamboo and tissue (complete with a battery operated candle). When they'd finished making them, they got to take them round the arboretum.

Very overgrown, couldn't see some of the trees very easily. No facilities but does have a free car park.

As it was a warm day I finally got around to visiting the arboretum having been promising myself for sometime I was not disappointed it was peaceful and quite lovely, there are informative signs explaining which species of tree your looking at and the origin of them as well as other bits of information, I did weave a little of the willow arch which was fun. I enjoyed my walk and will be returning to explore further.
