Popped in here while waiting for dresses to be altered. It didn't look a bad place and the food that was coming out of the kitchen looked good. That's all I can say about the food as I didn't eat there. Plenty of Tv's about the place so you can watch sport etc so looking after the sports fanatics. Can't imagine it being a quiet place of a evening though, but whatever floats your boat! All in all good place to drop in if you are in the city.

I’m disappointed as my friend came to the door staff and showed her ID, yet she was declined entry because of her medical stutter?! When all of us came to speak to the door staff and ensure them that she has always suffered with a stutter, they wouldn’t hear it, and it ruined her birthday. Door staff need better training to handle situations, and please train them on disability awareness, not everyone is the same and now my friends 20th birthday is ruined. Less than one star. Terrible place, and won’t be returning.

10/10 experience. The music they play is weird, but acceptable. The new recruit Luke (?) is brilliant. He tended to our needs exceptionally, despite being too tall, he made it work. No job was too small for him. No job too big, Excellente. Muy bueno. Luke was definitely the cocktail champion of the night - very tasty. He seems to have brought in a lot of trade (I noticed as everyone was greeting him). Super friendly. Time for everyone. Always busy - whether he was serving or pushing a chair in.

Myself and some friends visited walkabout on Friday night and we were all ID’d going into the club and we were let in with no issues - bearing in mind we’re all in our 20s. About an hour in, we received a message from our friend saying she’d been kicked out because she tried to buy a drink, with the same ID as when we entered, but the server at the bar believed she was under age! It is completely inappropriate to kick a woman out on her own, let alone that you also believed she was under 18. Additional training needs to be provided for situations like this and women’s safety! My friend should have been allowed to go and get her friends before being kicked out. We were fortunate enough that she had her phone on her and could message one of us - hopefully this does not happen to anyone else that might be less fortunate.

Probably went on the wrong day, football on which I hate unless it’s French football or football Italian. Reason being I’m more of a golf fan Though not the reason for the 4 stars and review. Worked here many years ago a good memory although, not so good in the end. Never the less staff pleasant, friendly and hygiene superb. Toilets immaculate. Couple I met outside the bar nice though save it for the bedroom guys Though date night a good idea. Though a word of warning to the man outside with the lead astray wife...look in the mirror you wear a chakra healing stone not aware of your past...present and future. Which way would you go? Maybe the butterfly is a sign. Still need that slide guys. Oh and get some lemon slices, lime and orange.

Stopped in to wait for friends. Great space for watching sports, loads of big screen TV's with international games being shown. Great menu, great drinks and special offers. Generally, a really great place.

Unreal experience, a few close friends experienced the night of a lifetime. Football, food and beers what more could a bloke want. Emily was on quick hand to serve our needs, definitely returning!!!

Watched the Villa game tonight, really friendly staff. Enjoyed the burger, chips are better than Wetherspoons. Nice balcony upstairs. Emily was great.

Walkabout is a typical run of the mill sports bar. Good selection of beer and quite a few drink offers. It's a shame some of the screens showing the football (world cup french v England) are bad quality (fuzzy and discoloured). They also charge to get in (£5) on big match days - but at least they restrict the numbers entering.

With the new menu launching, i thought i’d ought to give it a try. Loaded fries were amazing, definitely would get them again!! i also recommend the burgers, unreal 👌🏼👌🏼

I saw the advertisement for coqpit and thought I must try! The burrito bowls were unreal, will be my new go to! Brilliant food and such a great change for the venue!! :)

We had an excellent the pub was clean and welcoming. Isobel who was working behind a bar, had a lovely manner, she chatted to us and was very knowledgeable on the different wines they sell. Thanks Isobel, you are a credit to the company.

Had a great night out on Saturday. Good bar with a huge selection of affordable drinks. Bar staff are friendly, especially one of the staff that we spoke to called Luke B. The atmosphere was good and the door staff where nice enough.

Today I saw the advertisement for the new walkabout menu and it was honestly absolutely top notch. Tried the burrito bowl and it was unreal. I will definitely be taking the grand kids here soon for sure.

Been here a few times mainly for sport. We watched the last day of the season unfold. Atmosphere was great and we all enjoyed ourselves, however, bar staff were slow. Young staff which is to be expected, however was made clear they were serving their friends before people waiting a long time. On several occasions people at the bar made it clear it was not acceptable. The place cleared out as soon as the final whistle went. The cost of beer is disproportionate with other bars around the area, but they will always get people in to spend as it's the only sports bar around. I once visited for F1 and had chicken wings. They were overcooked and tasteless.

Pretty good. Very busy at weekends so if you mind waiting at the bar for some time to be served, this isn't the place for you. Prices are reasonable, toilets generally start off great and go a little downhill (same as all bars/clubs in the evenings)

The staff do not act appropriately when issues occur. My daughter and boyfriend were treated disgustingly the other evening at this awful place. I’ve always avoided it. It lets Lichfield city down. Lichfield needs classy places not rough holes.

Came to walkabout for a drink and to watch the game and the service was impeccable. Elle and Morgan are great staff and create a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend people to come here. Great evening

Towards the end of the night I was merely helping my brother find some belongs he'd left inside in which I was greeted by a bouncer who decided to pick me up and throw me into another member of the public, putting both me and the other person in danger for absolutely no reason. Such a small thing I was trying to help with was dealt in horrific fashion by irresponsible "security" who feel their power by throwing people around and not doing the right thing. This experience has put me off coming back on any night other than a pub visit as their bouncer staff clearly can't be trusted to take care of the public, extremely disappointed in the behaviour (bouncer in review is a bearded man in a cap)

Went to Walkabout Lichfield for some lunch today in between some shopping and it was so good! The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. It was quite busy with the good weather but the food came out so quickly, piping hot and there was nothing to fault. Brilliant pub and environment and will definitely visit again. Team were very friendly and brilliant service.

Very lovely place, nice, polite, friendly and helpful staff. Food was quite delicious even though there was a bit of a wait. Price was very reasonable for the dishes. Very clean environment and toilets. Indeed a lovely place and experience.

Just popped in for a quick drink before heading home. I cannot say how great the staff are welcoming and friendly.

My favourite bar in Lichfield and I can't wait for the disco nights to come back. The cocktail pitcher towers are AMAZING

Rather disappointing visit today. The sign outside was advertising 2 x Magners for £6 Friday - Saturday. I ordered two only to be told it’s from 15:00 each day and it would be £5 each. Although the staff acknowledging the sign should be changed it was left.

Really fun place to go in Lichfield, great atmosphere and customer service.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Had such a great laugh! Bar staff were great along with the doormen! Especially the toilet attendant! He went above and beyond to help me out! What a complete and genuine guy! We need more people like him! Can’t wait for me next visit and hopefully he’s on with more lolly pops!! Loved the night!!

Went on a Saturday around noon. Popped in for a few pints. We'll presented bar. We'll lit, colourful with a lot of TV screens to watch sports. Staff kept the place clean as well, wiped the tables after being used by a customer. Beer was good and fresh. The bartender was fantastic

Nice place, the staff were excellent even letting us back in for free when we had to pop out briefly and hadn't got stamped. had a really great atmosphere. Again staff were great looking after us and keeping the drinks flowing. Highly recommended on a night out.

Deceptively large Walkabout that's two tiered and includes a balcony. Not quite on par with the one in Birmingham, but did have a Brewdog in tap that I hadn't tried before

Brilliant Night out here!! I came in with a few friends on Friday and had a fantastic time! It wasn’t overly busy but still had a good vibe to it, staff were excellent always game to have a crack and a laugh at the bar! Will 100% be back

Great venue! So good for sports - there are TVs everywhere! Food was good and staff really nice. We came back at the weekend and the music was quality. Definitely coming back here!

Me and a friend came in for a meal and a pint, we was greated with a big smile off the bar staff they were all lovely and very helpful. The decor is fantastic, the food arrived quickly and the all day breakfast was perfectly cooked. Would highly recommended.

Nice barstaff. The actual burger itself was nice and juicy but the bun was a bit... I can't describe it. The chips tasted as though they were cooked in old oil and my friend couldn't eat his burger. Dog ate it though. Dog friendly hence the 4 stars but wouldn't really choose to come here again.

One of the only venues you can have a dance on a night out in Lichfield. For the most part it's good, however at peak times you'll quickly find yourself queueing for drinks rather than dancing. The second bar upstairs does usually relieve some pressure however.. Couldn't give you a select age range, one and all are welcome in walkabout which to be honest, is quite nice to see. This usually has an influence on the music that's played too, with songs to suit the crowd.

Was at a friend's wedding where the bar shut at like 2330, someone said walkabout is open until 3 so off we went. Even though it was packed we could get to the bar easy, no hassle from anyone in there and a decent friendly vibe. Only downside (if you can call it that) cost a fiver to get in but well worth it
