Since both Chiquios closed in MK, we visited the one in Northampton. Boy, we missed it!!! Excellent food… no, it was better than that - best Mexican food we had in the UK! Lovely restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere. Our waitress, Olivia, provided an exemplary welcome and service throughout the meal. Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back!

Food, excellent. Drinks, excellent. Service, excellent. Best mojito I’ve had in a while. The food was fantastic, not a crumb left. Mirjeta (Mira) was lovely, excellent service and really friendly. We’ll definitely go back.

Food was good but a few let downs on our visit today. Starters arrived in normal time but there seemed to be a delay in the mains which meant we waited a long time between the courses. No explanation from the staff or apology when they came. There were around 5 other tables so not busy at all but there were a fair few app delivery orders going through the kitchen. I ordered double filling with my enchiladas and they looked pretty ordinary when they arrived (see picture). My wife ordered a steak cooked rare which came medium-well. It was really thin steak so hard to cook rare to be fair. Service was good and staff very attentive. Fair experience today, not the best but certainly not the worst!

Comfortable and elevated seating with relaxing footrests. Warm lights and sturdy tables - ample parking . Staff are courteous . Food is an experience worth the detour.

Amazing, first time eating Mehico out for a long time. The hot prawns to start were lush and the enchilladas were fantastic. Partner has the Quesidillas which she raved about. We shall be back

First time here, absolutely loved it. Warm & friendly. Barbara looked after us, definitely recommended. The Mexican sharer was awesome as a starter. The tacos were amazing too. Chiquito Northampton - Service was good, Mira took great care of us. She was very friendly and recommended to us different options that were available that day, which we found very helpful—highly recommended.

Came here after a trip to the cinema to see the Mario brothers movie (history will remember this date). Pretty child friendly and access was easy enough with pedestrian crossings all the way to the restaurant. The doors were pretty heavy so kids did have a hard time opening them (but then again they are not meant for kids to open). Once inside we were given the option of where to be seated, we chose the back of the restaurant. We then ordered some classical mexican/american food, from burittos to churos. I ordered the double meat chimichanga - unfortunately the double meat didn't feel like double meat and I was left a little underwhelmed. The kids pizzas are huge, so be aware probably half a pizza per kid. The desert made up for it and the condensed milk sauce was great. I would be tempted to try the other restaurants in the area, probably not my first choice if I was back in six fields.

Food was lovely , fresh and good portions. Children’s menus options were great too. Food was ordered from main menu, lunch menus and kids menus, very satisfied with the choices. Our server Barbara was a delight and made our meal an extra joy to have. This meal was to celebrate a birthday and was tested to a brownie at the end of our meal.

Food here was good as always, recommend the flaming zombie for a drink as it was strong and fruity. The new taco starters were amazing, and the fajitas were good as always. Our server Shakira was lovely and dealt with all our food modifications and provided great service.

Chiquito's is one of very very few Mexican restaurants in the area. Staff are really friendly and I have received good service both times I have visited. Despite this, the wait times for drinks is about as long as the food. We ordered several starters and mains to share as to be able to try more items and were not disappointed. Their barbacoa beef tacos are to die for and I would revisit for this dish alone. The rest of the food was also good however the portion sizes are a little small for the price you are paying. Would be nice if they offered a sharing platter of mains for big groups. All in all I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes Mexican cuisine or just looking for a nice place to eat out. Book on weekends!

To be fair there were just two tables occupied and ours was the biggest. The one server was excellent and very attentive to our every need. Truly going above and beyond. As for and drinks were exactly as ordered though I did feel the classic chilli was lacking enough meat to truly qualify as a meat product. Children's drink sizes were baby size. No child older than 5 would be satisfied. To add insult to injury, tap water is classed as a drink for child meals though it's free to adults. Full size fizzy drinks are charged the same but not considered refillable if bought with a child's meal as an extra. That feels like a very unfair deal to me. Parking is good. Disabled access is good though it's hard to understand why the disabled bays are further away than the closest able bodied. Not their fault but the queue for neighboring McDonald's prevents customers for here from turning into their car park. It wasn't even busy on this occasion yet we still had to wait for time for the queue to go down. Maybe they could consider that with either the road layout or perhaps advising drivers on approaching from a different direction.

Barbara perfect just an all round caring genuine hard worker. All stars for her. Food was lazy. Salsa out a packet. Very sad. Not the hard workers fault just the company's choice of packaged processed lazy foods. Very disappointing.

Was a nice place went about 2pm the staff were really nice had a good life with the waiter due to not being able to prounceate some of the item menus, the wait for the drinks was about 15minutes the cocktails were nice, food was a decent wait time and tasted very good the starts were nice hot and fresh the halloumi sticks were heavenly the same with there new start item For main we shared a paella which was a good size and filled us up tasted delicious was nice Fresh and presentation was good I recommend as was a nice lunch and nice atmosphere the music could of been a bit more authentic and shorter wait time for drinks other than that highly recommend 😁

First time for me here. I popped in on a whim as I was hungry as hell. I ordered a medium rare steak and it would cooked just lovely, exactly how I like it. The service was good and there was a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. I would go there again.

I love the food at chiquitos! Plenty of options for vegetarians and so much flavour! Even my spice-hating partner was able to find something to enjoy! The drinks are also delicious. The decor and ambience is standard for a chain restaurant.

Great food, very friendly staff. Food arrives fairly quickly and tastes great. Cocktails are most definitely worth a try. Free park outside the restaurant. Don't always need to book.
