Went on Saturday to have a look as i have not been fishing for about 7 years. There are new owners who where very helpful. The fishery is very clean and really peaceful. Booked in for sunday and caught some lovely carp in perfect condition. Definitely booking again. Cant wait 👍

Very nice place. Plenty of large fish. 25lb cat, 23lb common were the biggest of the trip but plenty more 14lb+ caught. Tried krill and surf no turf bolies with some fish caught but after talking with other fisherman around the lake I was given some large chorizo flavoured pellets and caught most of our fish on them. Fished the double peg opposite the island, can be a little cramped for space as all the pegs seem to have the same areas to fish too. Can look like someone's fishing in your peg till you go stand in there's and realise it's there's too

A lovely intimate fishery with great facilities. A little shop with all the fishing basics, a properly kept clean loo, so unusual at most fisheries. Bites a plenty, fish in lovely condition. It may not be stuffed with 20s and 30's the obsessed big fish carpers are after but it's a great place to get your string pulled. And with the chance of a catfish too, still a rarity in most commercial fisheries. I should imagine it could get a bit crowded in summer months but you can't have everything. A word of warning though, forget floater fishing gear, the resident wildlife makes that a no no. And the water is pretty shallow so ducks can dive down and clear a baited area out in no time. So ta the geese in particular will be in at your bait like a shot if you aren't careful

Been here twice now, fishing has always been good, this time it was brilliant, caught 64lb catfish and 22 carp in a 24hr session. Loved every minute of it. New owners are knowledgeable and very helpful, backsides seem to be improving with extra cabin being built and stages being repaired. My cabin was spotless on my arrival could not fault the place. Thank you guys for the memories......

Really nice looking venue and welcoming staff. Just don't pick cabin 4 on the specimen lake. Only a few rod lengths of a swim with a willow right in front of you and totally cut off by other anglers to the left and right of the peg. Personal opinion this peg should either be closed off or at a reduced price. Something else to note which isn't mentioned on the website is that large/longer bedchairs (avid benchmark x)will only fit in the cabin sideways, so if there is 2 of you, one person would have to climb over the other to get out.

Had an incredible weekend at home farm fisheries, over 60 carp on day one, mostly between 6lb and 10lb and 2 catfish 20lb and 27lb. Then about 50 carp on day two 😃 my peg had an overgrown willow tree, but the lads that run the water spent half an hour or so cutting it back for me. Highly recommended water and I'll definitely be back 😊🎣
