Professional & Effective Treatments: I have used this clinic for 25 years or so, being a horse-rider I have sustained many injuries over the years and I have always had fantastic results using the Osteopaths in this clinic, even with a long standing lower back problem which is now completely sorted. I have always been able to phone up in the morning if emergency appointment is needed and always slotted in somewhere that day, Fantastic. Can not Recommend Highly enough.

Being a therapist myself I was very keen to get back to work when I injured my wrist. Claire Cullen was very understanding of this and was thorough in both her examination and treatment. Thank you so much for getting me fit again! Clinic staff were friendly and helpful too so would definitely recommend.

I just had my first acupuncture appointment with Ben Davies and I honestly can't remember the last time I've felt this good! Ben was kind and professional, and very transparent about what exactly he was doing (I was a little nervous so this helped immensely) and checked in to make sure I was feeling safe and comfortable. The improvement that I saw in only one session was almost unbelievable and I am over the moon. I was diagnosed with Lyme's disease about a month and a half ago but have dealt with chronic pain for over two years and today is the first time in a VERY long time that I haven't been sore or exhausted. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I have found the Practice online and was looking forward for a practitioner who can adjust my dislocated joints for my pain relies in my arms, especially in both elbows. Good thing I could get the appointment very quickly just in two days. I was really looking forward to be treated. I’ve paid the full deposit before treatment as I was requested. Then I have been taken by the practitioner Mrs Gitter. Everyone were kind to me. Mrs Gitte Pedersen. She has has interviewed me in terms of my troubles. I have pointed that I have hiper mobile joists and I would like to have them adjusted to right position, as I feel a lot pulling pain when moving. The the lady has given me gentle relaxation massage for about 40 minutes. I thought that is ok, just to relax the body before the adjustments. But no. I have been given just a massage. Not adjustment. I have mentioned that I have expected to have the adjustment done. The practitioner said that I’m not having any dislocations. I do disagree with her diagnosis. I still feel stif in some places. The treatment wasn’t that what I need. Sorry to say. Now I’ll need to pay another £80 for chiropractor, although osteopath and chiropractor both can do the adjustments. Just 2 stars for prompt availability and kind welcoming, not much more as I’m still in pain. Update. Next day after I’ve written the review I had phone call from James Ruddick, the owner. He offered me the treatment I was expecting. I do really appreciate it. He did not wanted any money for it, but I haven’t seen it right, that he works for free. I have happily paid. I’m admitting, that Gitte has given me the right treatment. Sometimes is really difficult to judge what causes the pain and stiffness. Is the joints or muscles? Or both together? Great pain impacts perception and the mood too. I’m appreciate to be contacted back with genuine will to help me. Therefore 5 stars.

Attended to have my belated birthday present from the NHS - a scan of my Aorta. The lass doing the test was brilliant. I would have given the fifth star if the receptionist had not expressed attitudes which seem to be included in the job description that goes with these positions of presumed authority.

Absolutely brilliant service and treatment. Had ribs repositioned in my back after months of pain with a trapped nerve and within 2-3 days I never had any pain again from it. Great service from the booking to waiting times and staff friendliness.I think James treated me and he was very professional and seemed to no the exact solution to my pain within minutes of asking questions. Would definitely go back with any future problems or injuries and highly recommend to others.

Hi a few weeks ago I had been suffering muscle tension headaches, I decided to go to see a chiropractor at this clinic. The chiropractor was very understanding and more or less diagnosed my problem there and then,within a few treatments my headaches had been reduced considerably. I love this place! The atmosphere is nice and calm and you feel welcome from the moment you come in. Both my little boy and I have been treated several times by Jo Ruddick. She's an amazing osteopath and my favourite part of her treatment is cranial therapy. Jo helped my little boy with tummy troubles and sleeping issues, and he loved her treatment - stayed so calm and happy throughout! Jo is very thorough, caring and provides lots of support and advice. Highly skilled and with a true passion for what she does.

I finally got my partner to agree to having his knee looked at by a professional. He is a decorator by trade and has been suffering and complaining about an aching knee for years! I booked him in with the Summertown Clinic and we both cant believe the impact a few sessions has had. His knee feels 100% better, no problems kneeling down / getting up and no more complaining! Am ashamed to say that I have been coming to Summertown Clinic for years and I never thought to leave a review! This place, and James particularly, are simply incredible. The treatment I received has always been amazing. My 11-year-old daughter had ear wax removal with Sam and I brought my 9 year old son to the appointment. Not only was Sam experienced and professional, but she was also very kind and knew exactly how to work with a nervous tween. By the time she had finished, my children understood more about the workings of the ear than I did. They loved looking at the inside of my daughter’s ear with a camera! Not to mention leaving with sparkling clean ears and being able to hear clearly again. Thank you, Sam!
