Coffee shop Wine bar

👍 Looking for a hearty tasty no fuss breakfast? This is the spot. Plenty of room, no queue, toilet facilities and the tasty breakfast is guaranteed. I opted for the full irish vegetarian. Note, no mimosas until 11.30. Definitely will be back to try 'afternoon tea' and evening 'sharing plates'. People often mention coffee, staff, good, breakfast, great,

The place is comfy and has nice decor, coffe and tea was fine but the food is poor and slow service. We were given very old, rotten salad it stank and was oozing it was that old. I firstly thought it was a dressing so took a bite it was like slime and tasted dreadful. Very expensive at €8 and this is the quality.

Lovely café/bar. I went today for coffee and cakes with friends and everything was delicious. The place is so cozy and nicely decorated. Staff were super nice and friendly!

We stopped there for a quick breakfast and the porridge and cappuccino were not bad. Nice atmosphere!

Polite staff, good atmosphere, good place for lunch. Would go again to try the breakfast/brunch options. We ordered Soup of the day, Salad bowl and Green goddess sandwich.

It was just great. It's a little gem of a place! It's a cafe and a theatre at same time, well month on month off. Great idea, great initiative! Can't wait to go back! Ah also... The staff are very nice, friendly, informative even when busy serving people attending the play. 👍

Badger & Dodo. Not sure why Google can't get the name right. Could this place be anymore fascinating? Wow. A literary and coffee masterpiece. And the name, Badger and Dodo. My espresso and pasteis de nata were out of this world.

2 stars for the place and for the sausage and spinach rolls. Not enough staff for a Saturday morning/afternoon. Waited for our table to be cleaned for 20 minutes when there was a waitress walking around not doing anything. The tables outside werent even cleaned. Dissapointing.

Bestseller is simply the best café/wine bar in Dublin. The staff are absolutely exceptional in every possible way. I can’t praise and recommend this place highly enough. It accommodates for every occasion, whether you feel like an early morning coffee, a traditional Irish scone accompanied with cream and jam, or a glass of champagne, bestseller is truly the best place for all of this and lives up to its name - a bestseller!

Very disappointed with my most recent visit here as I often go in when in town. I arranged to meet friends on Sunday morning and we’re told we could only have a table for max one hour - something that I was never told there before - despite the fact that it was not busy. Coffees took 15 mins to arrive but we were still told it was one hour from when we arrived, not when we got coffees. When coffees arrived the waitress did not know which was the skinny latte and which was the regular and seemed surprised that we would want to be sure. So disappointed by a place I loved.

Just had a cup of coffee, but just want to say that the coffee (latte with oat milk) was really good. The coffee was not strong, which for me is great since strong coffee usually tastes like burned coffee to me. The place is also cosy and cute.

I normally try breakfast in various establishments, but failed this time whilst in Dublin - three separate morning at the Bestseller !!! Why - the atmosphere is just right for a breakfast- lighting is subtle - helps 😉 The food is fresh and well presented with lovely staff. The only reason I didn’t give this establishments 5 is due to the extremely low choice of breakfast on my last visit - but this’ll not put me off attending next time I’m back in Dublin. Also would love to attend a live theatre which is held on set date - watch this space 😉

Stumbled in here on a very rainy day for some refuge. What a pleasant surprise!! This place is so cozy and inviting, I stayed for hours sipping tea and enjoying baked treats with my book. I ended up coming back a second time I loved it so much!! They do have wifi if you want to get some work done as well

I regularly visit Bestseller because it is my favorite cafe in Dublin -- great cappucinos served in cool atmosphere with good music by friendly staff. But why I write a new review is the evening Theatre, which opens for a weeks every month or so. I finally came in to see a play ... "Describe the Night" ... as this seemed a truly odd proposition for a date -- a 2.5 hour play about 90 years of Russian history in the back of cafe. And wow it sometimes is good to try new things. A really good experience and great date.

Good vibes! I want to highlight the fact that apart from having a very good coffee and awesome breakfasts, as well as a very comfy space, kindness of the crew there is outstanding: Last Sunday, as we were about to leave the bar, there was heavy rain outside and we were kindly offered one umbrella by one member of the staff. Not only this gesture gave us the chance to enjoy that last morning in Dublin but to me this was a sign of their personal values. I will never forget this and I look forward to visiting this cafe again in the future.

Stopped in for something to eat - was busy but not exceptionally so - feel like they’re understaffed or badly organised for the number of seats in the place. Took 10 - 15mins to clear a queue of 4 people - you have to order before sitting and they seemed to skip a friend up around the queue. After 20 mins, my food arrived without cutlery - asked the waitress for some, only after getting up to ask at the counter did she come over with some - I had finished my breakfast before my wife’s order arrived - which arrived wrong - coffee was cold as well Food wasn’t particularly great - got a full irish - sausage was a little pale, bacon was so overdone couldn’t get a fork through it, eggs were nice From reading the other reviews to see if this was a one off - it seems if the place is empty you’ll be fine but if it’s busy, it’s worth a pass - if you’re going to have to queue or wait - cafe en Seine is next door - it has the pretension but quality would be better

Nice place for a catch up with friends over coffee and pastry. The sausage roll was a bit disappointing but the cappuccino and accompanying flapjack were good.
