Thomas Bringe has alit of experience and even though he could beat me at anytime, he let me try things and feel like I had a chance. I learned alit in a short time. He is a great teacher and the other students and he are very warm and welcoming

Thomas is an excellent coach who genuinely cares about each and every one of his students. His knowledge and passion for grappling is contagious. Could not recommend the Grappling Place more to anyone who is looking to get involved in grappling or Jiu Jitsu.

The grappling place is a great environment and community. Thomas the trainer is a skilled teacher and takes extra time to help you fully understand what it is you’re doing. Highly recommend.

Thomas's dedication to the art of grappling is revealed by his excellent teaching abilities, and long hours in the gym. The 6am training option he offers works great for those with busy schedules.

Thomas is a great coach who is almost obsessively dedicated to the art of jiu-jitsu. He understands grappling from multiple perspectives so he can teach you in ways that will cater to your style while teaching you techniques that will add variety to your grappling style.

I've been going here a couple times a week for about 6 months and my BJJ game has improved tremendously. Thomas, the owner and coach here, has multiple tournament wins against black belts, and usually wins the regionals for his weight division, and often the absolute divisions as well. He really hits above his belt level, specializing in an open guard to armbar style that is extremely effective. You'd never guess it when you meet him that he is an absolute killer on the mats, as he is extremely easygoing and friendly. He helped me rework my game, telling me what positions to focus on, and how to fill gaps in my knowledge. I was able to win my division at a tournament a few weeks ago which I attribute mostly to his coaching. If you are new to brazilian jiu jitsu or a long time grappler, The Grappling Place is the best place to be a member because Thomas will coach you individually, not just as another person in the class. I've been doing BJJ for about 2 years at 4 different gyms and have progressed much faster here than at any of the other gyms I've been to.
