    For the first time in months I have everything I ordered, plus it came on time, still hot (friendly, respectful, driver) - with tons of condiments. This chain restaurant is beating most of the local food places, hands down. That's sad, in so many ways.

    The whole staff is awesome they went above and beyond the call of customer service. I came in Thursday afternoon before work and want cocktail sauce. They had ran out so a nice young man went a whip some up for me. I truly appreciate that. Thank 5 stars service and food was fresh and hot.

    Drove quite a ways to get to ljs Hampton. Food good except for coleslaw mixed with rice for the shrimp rice bowl. Not good. Will not return. However,service was great!

    I'm saying okay because it took about 30 minutes just to place the order because I'm not quite sure what was going on inside. The food was what one could and would expect. Delicious, but very salty

    Waited 15 minutes at the drive thru speaker until I was acknowledged. Then took another 20 minutes for the food. I saw 2 people talking by the grill area and 1 cashier at drive thru window. Got home (3 minutes later) and the food (fish and coconut shrimp, fries) were stuffed into a too small of box. Had to dig out most of the fries and both pieces of fish to find the shrimp. All of food was over cooked. Only thing tasty was my soda and the cole slaw. Entirely bad experience. Never again.

    Edit, I gave you guys a second chance and guess what? Youโ€™re closed at 7:30 PM. I sat outside for seven minutes before a staff member walking out said weโ€™re closed because we are short staffed. This location sucks! And you should do better but I donโ€™t have much faith in that.Of your going to have me wait 10 minutes at the drive through menu, at least say hello and let people know you are there. The faded broken speaker button is also confusing. Its the simple things that make the difference between good service and really bad service. This is NOT the first time

    This is no longer a Long John Silvers! DO NOT EAT HERE. What I received was the worst take out dried fish in rancid oil that made me almost vomit. Itโ€™s nothing but garbage in a bag. If I could give this a zero thatโ€™s what I would do. Excuse me now as I need to wipe the disgusting grease off my phone and go purchase a second dinner.

    This location has been increasingly disappointing for some time now, but I've dealt with it because it's relatively close and I enjoy the food. However, I will never visit this location again. After sitting at the drive thru window for a solid 5 minutes, waiting to place my order, I was abruptly greeted with "we closed." Not "I'm sorry for your wait but we're closed for the day," or "I apologize but we've had to close early today," just "we closed" and that was it. Mind you, this was around 6 pm on a Friday, at least a full 3 hours before the closing time listed on the sign out in front of the building. If this is a franchised location, I sincerely hope the owner sees this review because something needs to change. If you are not already losing money, I can all but guarantee you will be soon if this level of service is the best your employees have to offer.

    It was a "one man show" today. The poor employee single handedly cooked, worked the drive-thru & everything else by himself. He did a great job too! I give him alone a '10'.

    If you are looking for a budget choice for fried fish, this is absolutely the right place. The taste is also good given its price. We get the fish and chicken plater. Huge portion, reasonable price. The tender is juicy and better than some of the tenders elsewhere. To be fair their fried shrimp is awful, avoid at all cost.

    At 6:24 we went through the drive through and a person yelled out, โ€œHi, weโ€™re closed!โ€ I called at 6:27 and asked when they closed as the website says 10. Response I received was โ€œWeโ€™re closed.โ€ Ok, can you tell me when you close? โ€œAt 7!โ€ Well, so itโ€™s not 7, and youโ€™re closed? โ€œYes! We are short staffed.โ€ Two cars had just pulled up to the window after ordering. I get it, but itโ€™s super early and they were super rude.

    Been coming here for some time now. You know that old saying "wheres the beef"? Well, wheres the fish? This last visit we made, terrible! Not one to do reviews but have to on this. Save your money! Must be a fish shortage. Normally fish was good but now, nope! Why bother asking what condiments, they forget something! WHERE IS MARY??? SHE USE TO WORK THERE, ALWAYS VERY SWEET!!!! NEVER HAD TO WORRY ABOUT YOUR ORDER!!! They got my last $30...3 strikes your out! Looking for new Monday night fish place!

    They don't have their signature tartar sauce anymore, using Heinz tartar sauce instead. Not a good thing to me. After I ate the food I got sick to my stomach, made me throw up etc. It must have been the fish l because my boyfriend had only chicken and he didn't throw up. Will not b back ever again. Bad bad bad!

    While there, I asked for sauce to go with my order, and I was told to get it from the dive through area. I was a little shocked by that, because we were the only two customers there. And as we were eating another customer came in, but couldn't place an oder because..NO ONE was there!!! So after about 5 minutes of stand there her left. And upon realizing we were the one's there, we got up and let two. I have no idea where the workers went. There were 2 when we came in. No clue where they went.

    6pm on a weekday. They were mad that we even came. The door were locked n they were closed to dining in. Then after going through the drive thru n not getting any condiments I had to walk up to the window and wait forever it felt like only to get attitude from the girl! Probably won't be back!

    On atmosphere I can't say too much we where in the Drive-Thru but the speaker was not working. We had to pull up to the window to place our order. When we did we placed our order with Dion. She apologized for the wait and immediately took our order with such professionalism, courtesy, knowledge of the menu and she was so friendly and nice. I have never had such a pleasant experience at fast food restaurant before. Thankfully the Hampton location is still there because living in south county area it is so much more convenient than driving to Arnold. Please give Dion my best wishes and kudos!

    The wait is worth it every time. Do not turn left, it takes forever to get back into traffic. The lady at the window is always so kind. She makes it worth it .

    Drive thru board is broken- have to memorize order then go to the window. Food came out super hot and good, though! Careful in the parking lot... it's in ROUGH shape.

    I pat myself on the back everytime I make it through this drivethru! It's the worst parking lot and drive thru lol! The food is always fresh and hot, and I like the folks that take my muddled order. It would be nice to have the outside lights turn on at night the sign has been out for weeks now.

    The absolute worst service on the face of the Earth!! Drive thru is ALWAYS jacked up.Out of fries, slaw, normal sides on a Sat @ 4:30pm? Always out of something! And when you can't use the drivethru, you get screamed at inside by workers who are legit losing it. How they stay in bus is beyond me. Hot mess dumpster fire.

    The young man at the window was a delight. Friendly and cheerful. It was very refreshing compared to other drive through s we've experienced lately. I hope they keep him for a while.

    We have been craving LJS and haven't had it in years so when we noticed one nearby our hotel, it was a must. It was a spur of the moment decision and turned into a great one. The staff were genuinely pleased to help us out and insisted on making us fresh hot food after she heard we haven't had it in a long time and were tickled one was nearby. Sure it was a wait, and they had run out of fries, but they made sure we were satisfied. It was delicious and the staff provided us with genuine, excellent customer service. Make sure you stop by if you are staying in the area! Thank you for dinner...it was enjoyed and appreciated!

    The inside was closed even tho there was a sign outside that said inside open now. The speaker at the drive threw did not work. Someone had to yell out the back door pull to the window. Where I was greeted by a young African American girl with braids down past her back with no hair net on. And when I told her we had a pretty big order she huffed and puffed said it's only one other person here. And she went to tell the other lady working. She was a older heavy set woman close to 60 I'd say she had a smile and said it might be a minute because it was a couple of people there. But that she would make sure our food was hot and fresh. She was very pleasant even tho she was clearly under staffed and over worked. I wish I would of got her name she was very nice and made sure we got all of our food fresh and correct. It was 83.00 order. She definitely deserves recognition for her hard work and great customer service.

    Very clean for a fast food restaurant. Lobby is nice and all tables were wiped. I was helped quickly and my order was correct. I was asked if I wanted condiments and they were provided in abundance. The shrimp especially were delicious. The fish seems to have more breading and less meat than I remember. There were A LOT of fries, but they were pretty good. The hush puppies were as good as I remember. I got cole slaw on the side but didn't have room for it.

    Drive thru, was great! Cooked hot and ready when you get the order. I was very surprised on how well they arranged my platter as if I'm dining in. Quick to serve and friendly...I don't know why I ever stop eating here. However, Long John Silver is better than Captan D's yum yum!!

    Messed up my 16 PC fish family meal I got 11 pcs of fish the cashier at the window didn't even know what my order was I had to tell her again while she was trying to bag my food. Very unprofessional will not recommend anyone yo go here.

    LJS, it's not a 5 star or Michelin rated, nor does it claim to be, restaurant... but it was damn good, would have been a lot better if I dealt with a vending machine instead of who helped me, but hey, they say they should get $15/hour to screw our orders up anyway... smh

    The coconut shrimp was old and they reheated some of them. It was very disgusting to taste old oil in your food. Plus your commercial states that they are shareable when they are not. There is nothing sharable with snack bits or popcorn shrimp... Here are just some of the way over cooked shrimp.

    The staff as super friendly and very patient. We came in not knowing what we wanted, and we never felt rushed. Any questions we had they were happy to answer. Definitely coming back.
