Absolutely
the
worst
experience.
I
left
the
store
in
tears.
I
went
a
few
months
ago
to
see
what
options
were
available
for
rollators
and
a
couple
other
mobility
devices
at
the
suggestion
of
my
doctor.
I
had
already
spoke
with
my
insurance
and
was
told
that
the
two
types
of
rollator
I
was
looking
at
were
covered.
The
woman
I
spoke
with
was
incredibly
rude.
From
my
understanding
she
is
the
owner.
She
told
me
that
she
refused
to
bill
insurance
for
an
upright
rollator
which
I
was
already
told
was
covered,
yet
she
said
she
would
only
take
out
of
pocket
payments
for
the
that
rollator.
While
that
was
frustrating,
I
told
her
I
was
still
interested,
but
she
didn't
want
to
let
me
look
at
it
even
though
I
said
I'd
be
willing
to
pay
out
of
pocket.
My
partner
mentioned
looking
at
the
scooters
to
me
because
my
doctors
have
also
discussed
looking
at
getting
one
of
those
in
the
near
future
as
my
conditions
are
progressive.
She
overheard
and
said,
"You
will
never
get
approved
for
one
of
those!"
I
tried
to
explain
to
her
that
I
wasn't
interested
in
one
that
day,
but
it
had
been
discussed
with
my
doctor
as
a
possible
need
for
the
near
future.
She
rolled
her
eyes
at
me
and
said,
"You're
too
young.
What's
even
wrong
with
you?!
Did
you
get
in
an
accident
or
something?"
I
was
shocked
that
she
could
even
ask
that
question
and
diminish
the
needs
of
a
disabled
person
solely
based
on
their
age.
I'm
in
my
30's
for
reference.
She
doesn't
get
to
decide
what
my
needs
are,
that
is
the
job
of
my
doctor
and
insurance
company.
Why
she
thought
she
was
entitled
to
that
information
or
to
make
that
decision
for
me
is
absurd.
She
kept
mentioning
how
I
was
"just
using
a
cane"
so
I
didn't
need
any
of
the
things
she
offered.
What
she
didn't
realize
was
that
that
was
one
of
the
first
days
in
a
month
I
could
actually
get
out
and
walk.
Certain
conditions
are
day
to
day
and
just
because
I
could
manage
a
small
trip
out
of
the
house
with
a
cane
that
day,
doesn't
mean
that
the
next
day
would
be
the
same.
She
also
seemed
to
have
no
understanding
of
progressive
conditions
and
that
I
would
have
needs
for
certain
mobility
and
accessibility
devices.
The
young
sales
girl
who
was
trying
to
show
me
options
apologized
under
her
breath
between
interruptions
for
how
rude
her
boss
was
being
because
she
saw
me
tearing
up.
At
that
point
my
partner
decided
we
should
just
go.
We
thanked
the
sales
girl
and
walked
out.
Once
we
were
outside
I
broke
down
right
there.
It's
hard
enough
living
with
chronic,
disabling
conditions
as
a
younger
person.
There's
always
a
need
to
prove
your
disability
to
the
people
who
think,
"You're
too
young
to
have
that
many
health
issues!"
or
"You
seem
fine
today,
I
don't
understand
why
you
can't
do
X
thing."
The
place
I
shouldn't
have
to
worry
about
that
is
a
medical
supply
facility
that
specializes
in
devices
made
to
increase
accessibility
and
quality
of
life.
It's
hard
enough
trying
to
accept
as
a
younger
person
that
I
need
to
use
a
mobility
device
without
the
criticism
this
store
offered.
The
DME
store
I
ended
up
working
with
even
mentioned
that
they
frequently
have
customers
tell
horror
stories
about
this
store.
I
highly
suggest
finding
another
DME
store
for
whatever
your
needs
may
be.
Please
avoid
this
place
at
all
costs.
There
are
places
that
will
treat
you
with
respect
and
show
compassion
for
whatever
situation
you
may
be
in
that
requires
mobility
and
accessibility
devices.
