So, up front I will say that I have been to the st Charles location a handful of times and never liked my coffee. Our group decided to give them another shot at this location. They definitely raised the bar! I tried the brown sugar vanilla latte with almond milk and it was very good! My buddy got a shot of espresso and he said it's gotten better too! This is a cool brake shop vibe. The servers were patient with our group and sweet.

I came here to try a new coffee place. Upshot is very vegan friendly and it’s a local business. Those are two things I look for in a business. I got the charcoal latte solely because of the name. It sounded so interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was so kind and friendly to me. They were very understanding that it was my first time at the establishment. College students: this is a great place to study! Outlets are everywhere and if the weather is great, you can get homework done in the sun (or in the shade). I love this quaint place.

Good vibes, great food, really good coffee. They are always trying new things AND doing them very well when they do. Hard to do consistently, but they pull it off 👍👍☕️⚙️👌

First timer! Dined in I had a Mistletoe Matcha Latte with oat milk ( hot) and a cinnamon roll which was so good! and my friend had a stuffed Croissant with chocolate

Live down the road and have been wanting to try this place. The interior is simple, I like the subtle nod to its former purpose (auto shop?) Seems like it may be a nice space to hangout, like most coffee shops… Only giving them 3 stars for the following reasons: Parking? What parking. The barista was lacking… friendliness? Holy inflation ($8 for a matcha latte with 20% tip) With all that being said, I most likely will be back. I’d rather support local than Starbucks. Just maybe, don’t treat your customers like they’re a burden ;-)

Great staff and many options for vegetarian/ vegan AND gluten free It's extremely hard to find anything worthwhile that's gluten free. The coffee is fresh and made on the spot. Atmosphere was great, very relaxing

For starters the veggie burrito is BOMB!! I had it three days in a row and each time they delivered . The customer service here never miss a beat as well . As a collective team everyone speaks upon entry and leaving . Which is a big deal to me🤎 The thing I admire the most is when they have quick slow down times , the team is still actively engaged .. I love that . This spot is my ultimate go 2, I love consistency .

I used to visit this place with my father, who was a mechanic, when it was a brake shop. Stepping inside brought back memories. The staff was wonderful and the coffe was really good.

Ordered an Espresso and a buttermilk biscuit with their Gooseberry jam (If I remember that correctly?). Espresso had great crema and tasted almost like a peanut butter cup. Very nice. Biscuit was heavy in weight despite being so small, but a very filling $3 snack. The jam was tart, sweet, and a nice treat. Reminded me of the gooseberry bush that used to be in my parent's backyard. Staff was super nice, quick, and their friendly playful banter with each other was incredibly endearing. Definitely looking forward to my next visit. 💜🌸

There are many fine coffee shops in Saint Charles. My frequent choice is Upshot. I often go for one of their batch brew coffees. As a treat I order a pour over off of their menu of exceptional coffees. Sitting on their patio enjoying a pour over is one of life’s simple pleasures that brings me much joy. Along with great coffee is the outstanding staff. It’s the staff that turns a good coffee shop into an excellent coffee shop.

I got the autumn latte I think, along with this massive cinnamon roll. So delicious! The roll was big enough to split. Workers here were very friendly. Would recommend it to anyone really.

Fast and friendly service. Great vibes here and excellent coffee with many flavors. I had the Schmocha. Don’t recommend the chocolate chip cookies though. Could have been used as weapons how hard they were. Coffee has had me come back multiple times tho! 👍🏽

A delightful coffeeshop with great vibes and a beautiful inside / outside space. The pour overs showcase strong taste in the toaster, with dulcet tones of sweet and savory, and well-brewed. My only sticking point (and I mean that) is that the finish of the tables has a sticky residue that seems impossible to remove. None of the tables were dirty when I arrived, all was clean, to be clear!, but there is a resin (?) that has left the edges of some wooden tables consistently sticky in a manner that cannot be cleaned, and I found this annoying. That being said, this is not true for all the tables, and it might well be a manufacturing defect the management will quickly address — the coffee is the best in the area, save Sump in south St Louis, so it’s worth the visit and the cup!, and it’s worth the short drive from downtown St Charles where all the coffee is subpar in comparison.

Excellent service. Super polite and prompt. Food was great - the burrito tasted great. Arrived nice and hot. Coffee was hot, and tasty - a lot of different options, but I felt just right at home ordering a regular ole black coffee. And it was good too. I’ll gladly recommend to friends.

Finally tried this place out and glad I did! The seasonal blueberry latte was delicious. I was glad to see they are dog friendly and even went above and beyond by offering the dog a treat!

Adorable coffee shop! Still has some of the garage decor. Service was quick and friendly. Food and drink was delicious!

We enjoyed our visit here. I ordered the cappuccino special with honey cinnamon. I liked it, but I wasn’t blown away. My husband ordered the Witch’s Brew special with mocha and caramel, but it didn’t really taste like anything other than a latte. So it wasn’t bad, we like a plain latte, but not really what we were expecting. So not our favorite local coffee we’ve had but still good. The cinnamon roll and breakfast sandwich I really liked! Both were warm and the biscuits on the sandwich were delicious. Our only other complaint was that the bar we sat at was pretty sticky and needed to be wiped down. It wasn’t super busy when we were there so just wished it would have been a little cleaner. The shop would be the perfect spot to come back and hang out for a couple hours. It had a great vibe. There’s hardly any parking, so expect to park on the street. Not a huge deal for us, and it wasn’t hard to find a spot a short walk away.

What a fun atmosphere!! The cold oats were "Oatstanding!!", I love pumpkin spice lattes and this was the Best I have ever had! I have food allergies and they were great with my needs! Your manager Brittany is awesome she helped me, was in the kitchen cooking, and back out making drinks!! Like I said great atmosphere!!

Very good coffee and pastries. I got their Mocha latte (Hot) and my wife got their limited tiramisu latte (Hot), both of which were 10/10. The staff are nice and the service is quick. They have a little nook area away from the main area with kids toys that allow parents like me to sit and enjoy their coffee while the kids get to play.

Fab spot. Really great espresso drinks, teas and various roasted coffees. The pretentious(lovingly) coffee shop every neighborhood needs! The food on the menu is all really good, and there’s different options for different moods. They offer honestly just really good Good fresh espresso, and make really delicious unique syrups in house. My lil lattes are my favorite treat! Also I love the wellness shots when they’re available 🧡

Coffee was great! PB&J overnight oats is always my go-to item.
