The workers were so nice! I believe they were the owners. It was raining and sirens were going off. I was at a tent site so I was worried. The man pulled out his phone and checked the local weather for me and was telling me not to worry. Also recommended some great restaurants! Bathrooms were super clean! I would definitely come back

This is a very nice small koa. I've stayed here twice. Small warning/ suggestion. A 50amp pull thru booking might put you below the hill. We have a 35ft 5th wheel. It was not easy get out. More trees must be removed and roads improved if large rvs are going to be placed down here. We had to use 4×4 and I honestly didn't think we would make it. This is not a complaint. This is an awesome koa

So we originally planned to spend one night here just passing through. When unfortunately we ended up with a flat tire (whole other adventure). But they where quick to accommodate us an extra night so we could have the day to repair/replace our tire. The campground is clean the staff friendly and they where helpful by giving us guidance an where to go for a tire and part. As we aren't from the area. Will definitely consider staying again

Very nice campground with full hookups and level sites. Fire rings and picnic tables on all sites. T swimming pool looks very inviting and well maintained. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend staying here if you're near Peducah Kentucky.

Excellent and cozy KOA. Spent one night. The staff was extremely helpful and wanted to go above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. They even offered to bring me firewood.

Friendly owners, nice wooded site, everything is clean and neat. Now be prepared for the sites not being perfectly level, they are pitched (have to assume) for drainage. But a couple leveling blocks and good to go! Enjoy a convenient stay at this location.

Stayed here for 2021 New Years Eve weekend as a way to get away from the busyness of the city. Very friendly check-in staff, I got one of the cabins w/o bathroom (which I later regretted lol) although the public facilities were near by it was a very cold and rainy weekend. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. It had a huge front deck overlooking the little lake/pond they had in the center.

This is one fine Place for many reasons. The Staff member provided me a ladder so I could correct a problem on my roof. He returned to pick it up when he said he would. The place is quiet unlike my last four KOA nights! Cable TV, yes cable sure is nice to have after driving a distance today. Also, the camp ground is Clean. Thanks

Located near interstate 24, just south of Paducah KY, this is a great stop to recharge when passing through. Hospitality is consistently great. We prefer a rustic cabin opposed to a hotel any time. Great little local restaurants, fuel, and pretty much anything you may need located in a close proximity. LOVE the pool, during the summer months and enjoy a fire during the fall.

Of the dozen or so campgrounds we have stayed in since owning our RV, I can say that the hosts here are the most accomodating we have encountered. Very friendly, and will go out of their way to please. Another we noticed about them: They were always cleaning. This is the cleanest park we have been in, KOA or otherwise. The showers (4) and camp restrooms are spotless, as is the pool. The laundry room is the same, and the washers and dryers (4 of each, $2 per load on each) are extremely clean. The equipment works well. There is a camp store selling RV essentials (i needed a new waterhose and they had one), as well as a small selection of grocery basics: paper towels, mustard, ketchup, and mayo, napkins, etc. There are cabin rentals, tent sites, and RV sites with full hookups. A dump station is on site, and propane is available for sale. The RV sites are gravel and level. RV sites have a picnic table and firepit. There is ample room for a half dozen or so lawn chairs at most sites. Lots of grassy areas to walk your fur buddies, as well as an enclosed dog park, which like the rest of the campground, is well maintained. There is a local grocery store 5 minutes away, as well as a liquor store, several C-Stores, and gas stations. We did not try any of the area's restaurants but the hosts have a list of all the ones in the area. Fine dining is available in nearby Paducah. The campground is literally 5 minutes to the I 24 on ramp. Unlike many RV parks, this campground does not resemble a parking lot. The campsites are nestled in between rolling hills, which creates a more serene environment, IMO. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to return.

People running very nice. Tent sites not so much all on angle and very close together not any place to park car other than another site

Store hours 9-5…but not much in it. The pull through sites are a bit dangerous. We would bottom out leaving the “correct” way from our site…after being told the original site we were gonna stay at was too short for our RV (booked via KOA app with all info). The turn-in for the site is easy to miss and google has you u-turn on a sketchy road…hard to do with a longer RV or with trailer. More pet friendly than kid friendly—play set is pretty ancient and was covered in spiderwebs/nests. Not impressed, not looking forward to leaving our site as the angle is atrocious. At least the site is fairly level and does have full hookups.

We had a VERY rough day of traveling. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were our stay would turn it around. The staff kept the pool open longer for the kids and even offered to pick up our pizza for us! Thank you for a great experience at your beautiful campground! Truly amazing staff!

Absolutely the most wonderful KOA! Beautiful, well maintained grounds. Improvements always being made. Bend over backward, kind and helpful staff! Clean sites, clean restrooms, clean showers, clean grounds.

The Paducah KOA was a wonderful stopping point. Kind and helpful hosts. Clean park and laundry. Convenient to the expressway. Would stop there again.

As far as KOAs Journeys go, this is one of the nicer ones I've been to. Very clean (and large) bath house. Easy to get to location. Pretty quiet as it's not directly next to a freeway like most of them. Staff is super friendly. Wifi actually works. This is seriously the first KOA I've been to where I was able to use the wifi instead of relying on my phone for Internet access.

I was able to make a complicated reservation over the phone (pets, multiple cabins, xl moving truck). The grounds are lovely, bathroom/shower spotless, and Dave was delightful! He led us to our cabins, showed us a secure place to park the moving truck, and even hauled off a piece of furniture that broke in the move! I'd give more stars if I could. KOA is ALWAYS the way to go!

We went with extended family for a few days and had a great experience. The cabins are clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and they are always working to keep the grounds clean. The bathrooms were clean, the pool was perfect. Trash cans throughout the grounds were emptied on a regular basis. It was quiet and a place we will be returning to and recommending to others as well. If I had to give a critique, I would say the pond being cleaned would make for a prettier view from the deck of the cabin(s). Speaking of decks, the decks off two of the cabins (there are 3 cabins total) are a really great place to hang out with a swing, chairs and picnic table. Part of the deck is covered so I secretly hoped for some rain so I could swing and soak up the coziness. There are lots of shade trees too which is important because let’s face it; are you even camping if there aren’t lots of trees? We will definitely be back! We had a great time and the staff was so welcoming and personable. Go book your stay! You’ll thank me!

Excellent KOA. We traveled for an overnight on our way home. All was ready when we arrived. Clean site and dog play area. Campsite is well taken care of. We will come back.

Great staff and location. We've stayed here for the last few years as snowbirds from CO to Fla, and the biggest issue is the TV reception. It's horrible, analog is nothing but snow, and the digital, when available, is full of digital breakup. I know it's low level problems, but it's worse here than any other KOA's we stay at.

Could have saved over $22.00 at a good sam park mile and half away. One night at this park was $54.87 and that was 10 percent off. Had a 21 foot van Solis.

This place is great! The staff is friendly and attentive, the property is beautiful and the sites are staggered under mature trees. Our only complaint is that our site wasn't flat side to side.

  • 5/5 Mitch P. 1 year ago on Google
Very friendly staff greeted us upon arrival and escorted us to our campsite. Campsite was level and large enough to allow me to keep our TT hitched to our truck since we were only there for 1 night. I definitely recommend this campground when you're in the Peducah Kentucky area.
