I recently moved to Clovis and bought a pet fish so I came here to buy some plants and some food for my fish. When I walk in Brett immediately greeted me and ask me if I needed any help. The staff was all friendly and he was able to find everything I needed for my beta fish namwd Rainbow. I even bought some shrimp and snail to help control the algae in my tank. I'm so excited to see my fish with new toys!!!

Brett was super helpful in helping me figure out what to add to my small tank so that I didn't overwhelm my existing community. With their help I was able to add a few red rams horn snails to help with the algae growth and a sunset fire platy to add some color as well. Thanks guys!

Been coming here for a while now and every time I leave, I leave happy. Conner and Bret are fantastic. Connor was very patient with me in helping me select a Red Sea Tank. Brett too is awesome and always willing to drop what he’s doing to assist. An absolute pleasure and will continue to be my first choice in needing anything reef and fresh water.

I found a wild salamander and took him to aquatic pets and reptiles. Conner was wonderfully helpful at picking the right supplies.

Walked in for a minute to check it out. Disclaimer: it’s Black Friday, but it wasn’t very crowded (maybe 2 families in there) and I don’t know if there was a sale at the store making it more busy than usual. Nearly none of the reptiles had water, including snakes and tortoises. Some of the heat lamps had been left off, and some tanks were (I’m not sure on the specifics, feel free to correct me) potentially overstocked and most had no hides/rocks/branches. Think 3 snakes piled together in a corner on some aspen shreds but nothing else in the enclosure but a small weird shaped water container. The young tortoises also didn’t have anything but those water containers which were empty, and because of the steep incline in/out of it, many were flipped over and couldn’t get back up. It looked like they had been fed in the morning based on the wilted leaves, but the staff hadn’t refilled their water. (I took a quick photo of one of the empty water containers, sorry it’s not the best quality but it does have evaporation lines on the bowl and hopefully gives a visual.) When we brought it up to the staff they said they hadn’t had time yet since there were only 2 on staff at the time - I totally get it for during the shift, but it’s still really concerning and off putting. It could be a management problem understaffing the store, or it could be that the employees didn’t take the time before the store opened to fully take care of the reptiles. The fish seemed ok (Also there was a door open to a small room w a super gross toilet and live crickets hanging out in the trash, probably a room of mixed trash and animal(?) storage. Not great vibes)

This store does not stand behind its products. On a good note the people that work here are actually really helpful and nice.. I understand that they're just doing their job..I went to the store looking for another saltwater tank and stand. I'm new to the area so this was what was available. I was shown a 40 gallon tank with a stand. I was told that it was a saltwater tank.. I was really concerned about the built-in filtration system because I know how delicate saltwater ecosystems are. I have other larger tanks. When I went to put the stand together it was absolutely wobbly.. I took it apart and put it back together three more times and figured out that it wasn't me it's just how the stand was built. When I contacted one of the workers about it he said he has the same issues and he told me how to Jimmy rig it to fix those issues. First of all I don't want to Jimmy rig anything that's going to have 40 gallons of water sitting on it. I was then told to contact the manufacturer. I need to find a new stand if I choose to keep this 40 gallon the wooden stand is black it looks good but it is cheap wood and it is falling apart.The tank came with a small protein skimmer that didn't work... When I brought in the protein skimmer and I was told contact the manufacturer. I don't like the fact that you can sell things to the public and not stand by your own product... They do not give any refunds, or replacements they totally push you off on the people that they bought their supplies from that they haven't even tried out. I went back to the store to go see if the tank that I was sold happened to be set up as a saltwater display... And it wasn't it was only freshwater. I'm absolutely livid I feel robbed. The only money this store will see for me is the salt water that I have to buy until I can find a new local store. This store is a a scam.

Evan and Connor were fabulous. My kids came in for their first corn snake, but with so much help we transitioned into a ball python, and got everything we needed. We called several times before coming, and got great phone support. We drove very far to get here, and we left quite satisfied. We highly recommend them.
