Best local "Sub Shop" around. Marc always has some type of delicious special going on. During sports seasons he usually has some type of game active on Facebook. There is so much more than subs here, great people and delicious food. You will not be disappointed.

The subs are absolutely amazing. The prices are amazing for how much you get. The large makes a perfect meal for two l, or if your like me it makes great dinner and a perfect lunch for the next day. Highly recommend this restaurant, can’t wait for our next visit. If I could give more stars I would, 10/10 recommend!

Marc is amazing was running the place by himself. I came in and asked got steak even though he was close to closing he said sure and made me up a couple awesome subs ❤️

Another great experience at Marc’s! Got two “SMALL” subs. The Brady (Left) & The Roman (Right). Once again excellent tasting subs that were toasted, making a satisfying crunch when you bite into them! Keep up the good work!! 👍🏻👏

Just found this place and got a large Italian, absolutely has to be the best sandwich I’ve had, amazing service & such a great environment!! The large subs are HUGE, by far the best pizza and sub shop around! So happy I found this place!

Tremendous!!! Found Marc’s off a simple Google search for “the best Italian sub near me” and he came up as the top choice. After asking about the differences, I ended up going with The Roman and a Meatball sub to try a little of each. Both were absolutely freakin incredible!!! By far the best around! Will certainly spread the word and will definitely be back! Thanks again Marc for the phenomenal subs!!!

I have been a frequent customer here for at least 5 years, and I've always had a great experience and have even been a big promoter of this place. I have never once had a complaint, but unfortunately that changed today. I got a small turkey bacon with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, and provolone. The sandwich was mostly vegetables, maybe three slices of bacon and very little meat and cheese. I basically just took out the meat and cheese and at that because the sandwich was so full of other stuff that it wasn't staying together. I'll definitely be back, but I'm very disappointed.

Don't judge the prices on the menu until you actually eat it. You get amazing value food is delicious and nice large portions. Call ahead and food always available on time. not a lot of space in front so if you order when you arrive I would recommend going back out in your car and wait or get the door for the people leaving with full hands of food especially at lunch time he gets busy

Just recently moved up here from Georgia. Originally from Jersey so I've been deprived of a real sandwich place for years. Ordered the Giant Roman. The sandwich is so big and thick you can feed an entire roman legion with it. I think I found my go to sandwich place since it reminds me most of Jersey style subs. Going to try the Caliluga next!

Definitely worth the 25 minutes drive. Visited today hoping to try the cheesesteak sandwich but sadly they were out. Nevertheless we didn’t want to leave empty handed, and ordered the meatball sub and the chicken parm sub. They both were fantastic and with good portions. Simple yet fantastic. You can tell Marc puts a lot of love into what he does. Will definitely come back.

They weren't kidding about the sub size. I got a small. SO good and great for the value!!! I'll be back for sure!

Sub was huge and delicious, wish I new ahead of time they couldn't toast, but sub was very good, real meatballs and perfect for sharing.

This restaurant popped up as a suggested place for me to try, and let me tell you I'm glad we did. This picture is 1/2 of the large Ramano sub. It's stuffed with meat and veggies, you can taste the quality. The bread is delicious, the right amount of Chew to it. Yum we will definitely be back. This is perfect for call ahead ordering or to pickup on your way to a picnic lunch at a local park.

As normal I went here 3 times before writing this review, I got 3 different items all 3 not only met but exceeded by expectations. This is THE sub shop, THE pizza shop, THE stromboli shop, and I wouldn't be surprised if their other items are just as high quality. Portions are huge, quality is high. Just had a The Roman Stromboli, look at this thing perfectly cooked. had a tasteful amount of oil and garlic spread on top. Come here for great food at great prices...just prepare to bring a friend or prepare for leftovers and that's even if you get a small sub.

1st time there. Saw on Chronicle. Unable to eat in. Friend had BLT. Lots and lots of bacon.😊😊 I had ham and cheese. Both excellent 👍👍There small is larger than most other shops large ones. Prices reasonable. Will most definitely return to try other items. 1.18.2023 Went again. Had kitchen sink pizza. Absolutely outstanding 👍👍

these subs are AMAZING!!! best subs i’ve ever had hands down. and the person there who i believe is the owner is such a nice and generous person. amazing customer service! food was great and ready right on time!

Did you skip breakfast today? Did you forget to eat for a few days? Marc's will have you covered. Their 'small' sandwiches could be a large at most other take out places and the large sub is great for 2 people if you like sharing. Usual 'house of pizza' offerings and the specialty subs are the way to go. Grab a Roman with a bag of chips and you'll be set for the rest of the day.

So glad that we found this place! The subs here are amazing! We got the Brady today. The large is like a torpedo! So much food it is perfect for sharing with someone, or eating by yourself if you are really hungry. WOW! Thank you Marc!

Wow! It's taken me awhile to find you....but we won't get subs anywhere else now. The Roman sub I just ate was amazing! I got a small and I still had to cut it in half. Marc doesn't skimp. The amount of meat in this was massive. A moutheatering combination of flavors... excellent quality, awesome portions, consistent everytime!

Beyond excellent! I grew up a regular at Marc's family's restaurant in Haverhill Ma and Marc has brought the magic with him and more. I incredible sandwiches with fresh ingredients. The bread is the foundation of the freshness and taste. I bought 3 of the 2 foot subs, the signature Roman a classic Italian meat sub, the Eggplant Parm and the Chicken Finger Maximus. Each was delicious and perfect for the party I was going too. Cut them into 8 pieces each and fed 12 people! Hand made by Marc himself, it was like stepping into a time machine and being a kid again experiencing Italian family tradition.

My husband and I stopped by to get some subs. AMAZING!! is an understatement. Next time we plan on trying the pizza.

Good food but I ordered an hour before close and was told they didn't have what I wanted then hung up on. I didn't think a restaurant would run out of steak for subs

Ok ... Let's start by saying the sub was bigger than the bat I used in little league. An actually heavier... Believe it or not I actually weighted it ... Ya I know way too much time on my hands ..lol 4.5 lbs.... They must have someone's grandmother handcuffed to the oven making meatballs all day because as all the reviews I read they were amazing..... It's great that a mom an pop shop can be far an above any chain out there.... Give them a shot....

While I do love me a good sub these subs are HUGE!! Which is fine, I just wish I would have been warned on the phone how big the large sub was and what the prices of these huge subs are. Usually a large sub is a foot long. So I order two large subs... I was expecting to pay like $25-$30 but when I walked in and saw how big they were I knew I was paying more than what I had thought. I didn't think I was paying $20 each. Like just warn people because I've literally never been here before today. Like it feels kinda scammy that I wasn't told when you guys know full well that your sizes are much different than normal....
