Hostal Mano a Mano is an incredible place. With the atmosphere created by the locals on the beach, the family atmosphere in the hostel, the spaces to rest and relax, the food and cocktails from the bar, being able to sit at a table, enjoy the wind, watching the waves of the sea, eating a healthy smoothiebowl, listening to music with your feet in the sand, I don't know a better life. The staff is always very attentive, and always to help. It is a magical place on the beach of Las Peñitas.

I visited mano a mano many times and I always enjoyed my stay. The people are very friendly and kind hearted. Especially the surf lessons with Jonathan and Kelvin were really fun and they let you feel very good on the surfboard. Muchas gracias por todo, had the best time!

I love the ethos here! All the staff are so welcoming and it is a beautiful place. Keep up all the sustainable work. It really means a lot to see a hostel like this on my travels.

One of the nicest hostels we’ve stayed at in Nicaragua. Super clean rooms and facilities, eco-friendly, great communal areas and nice safe vibe. Very cool!

It was a wonderful stay at Mano o Mano. Especially the surflessons were so much fun with our surfinstructor Kelvin. He learnt us the basics of surfing and we also had a lot fun! Would definitely recommend 😃

We really enjoyed our time at Mano a mano hostel. Everything was so clean and nice and all the staff were super helpful and friendly. We had a surfing lesson with Kelvin who was a really good instructor and taught us both in and out of the water. It was much better than other lessons we've had in the past and we improved a lot, feeling much more confident by the end.

Beautiful place with the nicest people and staff I met in Central America. I got injured while surfing during the first day and the staff was so nice and friendly, helping me with everything and making sure I am alright. Other than that it’s really easy to get to the hostel from Leon with the bus, the dorms and the facilities are well maintained and clean. Will definitely come back. Thanks for everything!

The name says everything. Mano a mano/hand with hand. It’s such a cooperative atmosphere in all the fields. I loved to see always locals and foreigners together, talking, playing, surfing, enjoying, hand with hand. Beautiful street art (I had the privilege to meet the Artist) and wonderful yoga class in english/spanish for everyone. What a great place it is. So happy that I found this peace of paradise in Las Peñitas a surf beach close to León that you can’t miss.

I’ve been to mano a mano on a family trip a month ago and now travelling solo, I keep on going back to it when in León! This is my happy place. Mano a Mano has everything a good hostel should have: book shelf, hammocks, sports cormer with yoga mats, bicycles, a kayak, a well equipped kitchen, freen morning coffee, clean rooms and common spaces (the sheets actually smell suuuuper nice!), a good restaurant with delicious food (love the breakfasts there!!) and great cocktails and smoothies… oh and it’s ON THE BEACH! the list is long and I could keep going, but the best thing about Mano a Mano is the staff and the lovely Yashoda who makes you feel at home straight away, she is very helpful and has great recommendations. Overall, there is an amazing atmosphere between all staff members and the travellers. Couldn’t recommend this hostel more, if you are in Leon and want some chilled and fun beach time, head there!! Once again, thank you Yashoda!

Great place to stay, food and drinks are relatively cheap; personnel is also very friendly. It has a beautiful beach sidewalk too.

If I had to be short I would just say « Incredible » but then people would be wondering why. Mano a Mano Hostal is incredible in every way, the people working there are really nice and smiling, always there to help. The rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable. The access to the beach is easy and beautiful! I loved the vibe there. You get that nice and friendly vibe from the moment you pass the gate, the French girl at the reception is wonderful! Smiling all day long! Of course not everything can be perfect and the only thing that could be better is the choice on the menu. The food is delicious I loved it, it would have been better if there was a bit more choice! Yet this doesn’t ruin the whole experience because you can still cook in the well-equipped kitchen or go to the nearby comedors and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and go their again!

Cool spot, probably the best on the beach. We ate here and watched the sunset. The service could be better, with only one person behind the bar it took forever to be served.

Very chill hostel right at the beach, surf access and a volleyball area. Clean kitchen, in house restaurant with friendly local staff and big new mosquito nets above the beds. If you want a place to meet people, relax and enjoy Nicaragua - this is the place to be-

The nicest staff we have ever met in a hostel! It was my boyfriend's birthday and they decorated our room with balloons and made a sign for him. They also were extremely helpful when he unfortunately stood on a stingray. The hostel itself is great, it is literally on the beach. There is a restaurant/bar where you can buy food or a kitchen if you prefer to make your own food.

Great place to stay right on the beach! Very friendly staff and good quality service. The room was dorm with several other guests but clean and well-kept. Room was fairly priced and food & smoothies were great!
