Manana
Manana
Cafe
located
opposite
the
Real
y
Insigne
Basilica,
was
exactly
what
this
hot
and
sweaty
woman
needed
in
the
rising
humidity.
I
retreated
to
the
quiet,
leafy
courtyard
at
the
rear,
placed
an
order
for
a
milk
banana
smoothie
and
papas
with
salsa
(which
was
actually
tomato
sauce
and
mayonnaise
in
little
bowls).
I
was
given
the
wifi
passcode
and
just
like
that
-
I
can
enjoy
Leon.
With
the
gentle
background
music
that
doesn’t
inhibit
my
phone
conversation
with
others,
I
watched
the
comings
and
going’s
of
this
little
cafe.
Manana
has
a
real
funky,
laid
back
vibe
and
would
fit
into
the
Melbourne
coffee
culture
scene
seamlessly.
Prices
are
reasonable
($150
Cordoba
/
$5.50
Australian
/
$4.20
USA.
Portion
size
as
expected
and
was
all
I
needed.
The
menu
has
the
usual
burgers
and
sweet
treats,
so
enough
to
choose
from.
Staff
were
lovely
and
quick
to
place
and
serve
orders.
Their
English
is
also
very
good
considering
my
Spanish
is
rusty.
Plus
they
let
me
snap
a
team
photo
of
them.
If
I’m
ever
back
in
Leon
again,
it’ll
be
on
my
hit
list.
If
you
haven’t
been
here,
make
it
happen
-
you
won’t
be
disappointed.
