Amazing, fun, and Great Service! We enjoyed the beginning of Happy Hour on a Tuesday! Our baby loved the atmosphere and the service was amazing! The Roasted Chicken was NEXT level! So juicy and flavorful! We tried Jerk and Lemon seasoning and it Rocked! The Pickled Chicken Sandwich with slaw was also so tasty! We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what this cool place has to offer!

This was my first time and it did not disappoint. This place is huge in comparison to other outdoor restaurants in the UTSA area. Lots of outdoor activities including cornhole, giant jenja, connect 4, pickle ball, etc.. There were 7 of us and the outdoor table easily accommodated. Our waiter was kind and polite and very knowledgeable. The line to order food can get long but we received it in about 20 minutes. The sweet potato fries are delicious and so is the street corn. My friends enjoyed their street tacos and the $2 taco Tuesday. 🌮 It is pet friendly, but they’re only allowed outside. Easily accessible from I10 and decent parking. We will definitely be back.

Typical indoor bar food area with some communal eating areas. Modestly child friendly. Outdoor heaters, TVs, games, and more. Clean and well kept at the time of my visit (4pm Friday). Bathrooms were clean and nicer than expected. It was obvious staff was prepping for the busier hours but, as friendly as the staff was, I did not feel that the service was satisfactory, particularly at the bar. My food order came out very quickly I had a small order but was satisfied with the amount of time it took to get my order. Although, it was not until I waited for about 10 minutes until I asked the managing bartender if I could order a drink. Staff was polite and professional. Managing bartender was knowledgeable about the beers available. Food is ordered in the food/dining area. Drinks are ordered at the bar from the same tab, which was nice. Okay selection of draft beers, approximately 18. Was carded for my ID at the bar, appropriately so. Happy hour is from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Draft beers are $3.75. May consider coming back for drinks with friends but it's not a place that I couldn't live without.

What a great place to bring or meet friends. They have a social, pet friendly atmosphere with live music and activities available for rent. A big bar and great food. We were brought here by family members that are local to San Antonio and it did not disappoint. We had the Picked Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries and 1/2 Wood Grilled Chicken with jerk + lemon seasoning, based on another reviewer and both were on the spot. They were filling but not heavy. We don’t go to San Antonio often but when we come back we will definitely return.

Fantastic place to hangout with your friends and family!! Plenty of space to find a spot for you and your group. The food was really, really good, too. We had the BBQ chicken as well as the brisket. Burgh were wonderful. The location is right in a great part of town with easy access to both I-10 and 1604. There is ample parking and we greeted a soon as we sat down. Definitely check out the Chicken N Pickle next time you're wanting a fun night out!!

Great set up. Whomever came up with this is a genius. Great atmosphere with plenty to do for everyone. The whole family could enjoy this venue. Great selection of beers on tap, full bar and great selection of food. Menu items for the whole family. Only complaint is that you can only order food from one counter. Servers only take drink orders.

Love this place! The first time we visited was shortly after we moved to Texas. I looked around at all the families and friends having fun, playing games and enjoying music on a fall evening, and said, “Dang, now I feel like we live in Texas.” Super fun place! Good food and drinks. Free games to play for kids and adults along with live music on the weekends. They also have other events throughout the week and at different times of the year. Also, dog friendly, which is fun!

Great food and plenty of space. The flat iron burger was the better of the two sandwiches we ordered (the other was the burnt end ). There is a weeks long wait to play pickleball. That isn't my sport of choice but the courts seemed nice and the players were enjoying it, even in the hot Texas sun.

This place has it ALL! Great food, live music, bowling, pickle ball, and more. They have a huge outdoor area with pickle ball courts and plenty of seating. The pavilions have TVs so you can watch games. The live band area has plenty of space for lounging and dancing if you want to. The place is completely dog friendly, which is awesome. There is plenty of parking, but it does get somewhat crowded in the lot. Pickle Ball is very popular. The courts can get a little crowded, so calling for a reservation is probably best. Honestly, I'll keep going back for the food and music.

Food was o k, nothing special that would bring me back. I had a small problem with my order. The manager resolved the issue. There are a lot of things to do here, so if you come, cause you're gonna play pickle ball or something other than that I think you'd have a lot of fun. I don't think I will come back simply to eat. I think you'd have a lot of fun if a small group came and played the various games available. I don't think I will come back simply to eat here.

Best place in town to play some pickleball and to grab some food simultaneously. Atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly. They have a calendar with lots of opportunities for open play from beginner to advanced. The facilities are basically brand new and the indoor courts are top notch. For open play it’s about $5 per person unless you come from 8-10am for senior hours which is $4. Highly recommend coming for open play or to reserve a courts (about $40 per hour). The food is also really good and prices are reasonable.

Street corn was BOMB! And my son got the spicy chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed our food. Little pricey, for two people is was a tad on the $$-$$$ depending on what you order but the food was great and awesome customer service makes up for it. We will be returning to taste more tasty items from the menu in the future. Very cool atmosphere, college friendly but dog and family friendly as well. Chill vibes and great food, what more could you ask for?!?

This was my first visit to a Chicken N Pickle. What a great venue! We stopped by for lunch and to check out the venue. Lots of players getting after it. The outdoor seating infrint of the stage was plentiful. I liked that they had both indoor and outdoor courts going. The restaurant was spacious and clean. I ordered the country fried chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was superb, well cooked, and juicy. It was huge! The tots were hot, crunchy, and plentiful. Our server was attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place even if you are not playing pickleball.

***MILITARY DISCOUNT*** AWESOME atemosphere. The courts are plentiful, indoor and outdoor. The best court is the Texas court which is over to the side away from everyone. Plenty of tables to have a large family group watch while you play. The New 21 and over Holiday Hideaway rooftop Christmas themed area is awesome! I felt like I was trasported to a cozy mountain top ski resort. Definitely coming back with the adults for that.

Great FAMILY sports bar feel but with tons of cool places to eat, sir, drink. Pickle ball courts all over, of course, hence the name. Didn't have chicken but the burgers and beer selection were EXCELLENT and perfect service. Whoever is running this one--GREAT JOB!

This place is huge and great for large parties. Ample parking and wide parking spaces. We had the pulled pork sandwiches and they were great. The BBQ sauce is spicy and the spicy coleslaw is really spicy however it's a tasty set. I look forward to coming back to try other things.
