Lovely, happy entry. Original stone square from when it was a grain market. Several cafes with outside tables, a statue/fountain. It feels like a different city. Nicer than Plaza Mayor. To find it look for Santa Maria del Camino church (our tourist attraction map didn't clearly indicate the plaza). Definitive worth a visit.

This ancient square with a Roman fountain was just opposite my hotel. It was beautiful and there were some popular pubs an restaurants in the square. close to San Martin and great restaurants.

It's like being a small rural town in the middle of the city.

Gorgeous old town. Cobbled plaza. Typical timber frame 16th 17th century buildings. Two smart tapas bars. Relaxing and picturesque

Beautiful little space, peaceful and wonderfully faded. Time passing is visible in the stones

Lively square with a number of eateries, a little away from the busier areas.

Old square market in Leon. Special characteristic is its cobbled stone floor and the church at its side. There is a pilgrim hostel ad well.

Super Mello, loved watching the locals enjoy their afternoon, from abuelo's smiling pushing their grandson,( nieto ) to the young ( juven ) pierced/tattooed Espania rocker, and the buff exerciser...

A beautiful, peaceful and very historic square in León, which I believe is the oldest one in the city. It's a great place to have a beer, catch up with an old friend, and enjoy the view.
