Old renovated factory buildings, well decorated with good facilities around. Large, unsecured, parking facilities, still free but not for long (the parking signs where already up). Comfy rooms and beds with a view on the lake. Not possibility to open the windows yourself. Very minimalistic approach to furniture, which was also a bit scruffy. If you are looking for a night out of the city and lounge, be fab and chill a bit on the lake side with a drink, this is could be your place. Or have a wedding (there were two at the same time on saturday, which is normal we heard). The BBQ arrangement was generous, although not the quality level you'd expect for 2600 SEK per night "deal". Food was mediocre at best and was listed for 300SEK on the menu (hotel guest price, otherwise even 400SEK), which makes me think that the BBQ package of 2600 per night is a bit a of a scam. The whole thing has too many perks to it. In general it felt a bit like a machine in which the guest are a gear wheel, but not really guests. Illustrated by impersonal staff who seem to be on auto pilot. Friendly but uninterested. Grass mowers at 0700 in the morning, garbage truck on a sunday (!) morning at 730 making a lot of noise, BBQ setting below the hotel rooms made my room smell like a BBQ pit in the evening. I've found this a very underwhelming experience where value to quality/experience were too much out of balance, as well as a general experience of hospitality. Honestly I can not recommend, nor will return.

The rooms have a nice industrial feel to them and if you travel with kids they will for sure enjoy the complementary shuffle boards and pinball machines. The surroundings are soothing to behold and the bath house has the best views of them all. The area comes with a small nano brewery making surprisingly good beers and the dining experience is very good. The perfect spot to chill and relax for a few days.

Food was great at our first visit. But the help is beyond lousy. We got a gift voucher from our friends, a large sum. That we hadn't been able to use due to covid restrictions. So it was out of date and Emil, the staff member I spoke to could not (read would not) help out in any way. His words, you should have checked that we extended vouchers before vouchers expired (so it's my fault). So not only would he have any understanding of the restrictions and the fact that it did not say anywhere on the voucher that we had to extend before the expiry date, they got money without even given any service. Its seem strange that a place like this behaves this way when other companies and restaurants have been able to help out. This pandemic era is not under normal circumstances. Poor!

Amazing place, remember to plan for your spa and sauna session early in the morning instead of battling for space in the afternoon😎

We did a cooking class at Näas Fabriker and it was great fun. Victor, the chef, was very helpful and a fun teacher. We did not know we could make such delicious food. Would highly recommend, they can do the class in English too!

No nyt löytyi helmi. Mainio aamupala. Erinomainen palvelu.

Weird bathroom locations in the rooms - from my understanding all bathrooms had glass walls facing a bed? Some of the double rooms, you couldn't even cover said wall.

Great place with a below average service. Beware of buying beers at the bar. If you order a large beer you will be served a beer in a small wine glass. Don't try to complain because the bartender knows his stuff. :)))

The room was fine. But we paid Mich extra for pur child 6 yrats, yet, they just fixed the coach as the bed which means that there was no place left to sit on and relax. The towels and flipflops was not for children. The heater on bathroom didn’t work. The BBQ was NOT suitable for children. We had to pay for her anyway. The only food She could enjoy was potato. I think there should be Sims options when booking to choose who want to enjoy the buffé and who wants to order some other food. Staff score is 10 of 10. The breakfast was perfect.

Great experience inside old factory, you can feel the history of the place. Setup is 'like at home', very nice.

Basically it's a rest stop at the country side roads. However, with the facilities, the bath houses, restaurants, hotel, this place could very well be a tourist spot. Love the ambiance, environment and friendliness of the employees there.

Awesome hotel, friendly staff. Nice rooms, but windows can't be opened. Air conditioning works fine though. Beautiful nature around the place. A bit far away from the center of Gothenburg, about 40km. But possible to take a bus.

Absolutely love Nääs Fabriker - the setting, buildings and general charm of the area. During this visit, I discovered the co-working space, which was great to work from for two days with a delicious dagens lunch available at the café downstairs. Highly recommend a visit and for anyone considering to work from there. Price for a day is SEK 350 equivalent to EUR 35 and if you validate your car in the hotel lobby (very easy and valid either 4 hours or 48) no parking fees apply. Coffee and tea included (maybe gym but not sure for short rental).

Great rooms , many with a unique design, high ceilings and in some cases two floors! Great location by the lake, really making the most of the location with bathing facilities, watersports etc. Own brewery and bakery on site. Good food and good service.

This is a Swedish family getaway, with resort facilities such as ,sauna and spa. It is situated on a lake which also provides swimming opportunities. The rooms are very specious and decorated with pine furniture; the floors are the original factory floorboards. The decor is dedicated to this resort's origins as a fabric factory, and there are photos and explanations of the hotel's history throughout. The complex also has shops a separate cafe, and even a delicatessen . It is right next to the old village and a walking trail, so a great place to spend a couple of days, both relaxing and being active. I really enjoyed the feel of the hotel, and staff were just lovely.

Better than expected service, beautiful rooms and landscape, outstanding Swedish nature. Nääs Fabriker is an old industrial complex turned into a luxury hotel with spa, restaurant, cafe, kayak etc. The food was really good, the service was really good - better than what could be expected - breakfast was plentiful and good, we went for a trail walk. Stunning. The spa was big enough, well equipped with two saunas and indoor and outdoor relaxing areas. All in all we were very satisfied and had nothing to complain about. Would differently return.

This big old factory from the 19th century holds today many different company's and stores from clothes to homeproducts. Here is also a nice cafe for some small lunch if you like. Easy access from the highway.

Lovely looking place, nice location with inexplicably rude staff. Another odd experience on the Swedish “some people don’t understand “service”” tour. All I can say is the last words spoken in there were “f@&k this we’re leaving”. What I would pay to understand the mindset of the people working there that day. Straaaaaange.

Lovely hotel by the lake with an incredible view and possibility of going to the spa for relax. I think there is the need for some renovations, specially on the rooms ( the walls are cracking) and in some of the staff, particularly in the reception. I believe that for the price you pay, the quality of the service should match and they should treat customers as they are, customers. I came here for work and since I was dressed in my work cloths I felt that I was judged and overcharged for an expresso during breakfast (because is not included). If you pay 130e/night, why charged 3e extra for a coffee that costs 30cent, when it could be a courtesy. Anyway, just my opinion of what my expectations of the service were based on my previous experiences in many other hotels.

Great location with a nice "Badhus" with two sauna's and two jacuzzi's located next to the lake which you can swim in. Nice restaurant with good food. Rooms are spacious and really comfortable bed as well (not king size), but me and my wife slept really well in them.

Wow, what a place! Not only is the hotel itself very nice, the interior is very trendy and cozy. But it has a very nice bath house, plenty of small high quality stores just outside. You HAVE to make a stop here, especially going to Tvätthuset and try their pizza, they are small but oh so perfect!

Stylish boutique hotel, with great rooms. Never visited the spa as that required an additional booking and was already full. Food and bar was good and the breakfast buffet excellent.
