Beautiful area with stunning views. The marking of the hiking paths is a bit of a mess so get ready to get lost between the stones. But the lighthouse and the exit are easy to find as orientation works quite well in this flat area. Some jumps and steps are a bit difficult, so be careful (not sure if I would go there if it is wet, must be very slippery).

Really special and beautiful place. Big round rocks, great swimming opportunity, beautiful view of classic swedish archipelago. Kids will have fun running around, it's fairly safe and all ages will be struck by awe.

Great place to visit! If you have smaller children it might be hard for them since some parts are a bit hard to walk. Nålsöga is a nice part to visit.

Beautiful place to have a walk. When we were there the weather was not on our side and we still enjoyed it so much. Will definitely come back on a sunny day. :)

We stayed nearby this area for a couple of days and really felt like walking that day. We parked on Drottninggatan close to the harbourfront. From there we entered the Reserve from the North (near the Marina). As soon as you go around the corner from the Marina you'll be quite surprised. You wouldn't expect such an impressive Reserve so close to a town. It's really just around the corner but feels like another world. The views are amazing and the rocks and rock formations impressive. We brought our dog with (an English Bulldog). She did amazingly well. Just at the very beginning on the Northern Entrance a few steps leading up were too big and steep, so we carried her quick. Later on there's an easy trail leading back to town. Or you can follow a tougher route (sometimes no route at all) leading towards the famous Fyrhuset. We had fun exploring the area as did our dog. Nice views and nature and it was just fun climbing around here. Sometimes taking a break - sitting on some rocks - to take in the amazing landscape. If you only need to park up to 4 hours, then there's a free parking lot just south of the Gullmarsgymnasiet. If you are around this area - even an hour or two away - be sure not to miss out on this terrific Nature Reserve.

Lovely landscapes meeting the Ocean, interesting story behind the place , you can sit and watch around for hours and hours

A pleasant stroll if you're already in the area, but not necessarily worth a specific trip (there are nicer places within driving distance). Parking is free and the views from this rather beautiful mixture of pink granite, plants and sea are lovely.

I am sure this place is amazing during summer, or pleasant even during most of the winter. But the gale we had to prevail the day we visited made the rocks very sinister. The place is still charming though, we could only wish for a better luck next time.

Very nice part of Swedens West coast and the city of Lysekil. In the summer there is not much that beats the west coast of Sweden and it's stunning views

Beautiful nature preserve close to Lysekil. You have to walk a lot so you can see it clearly.

very nice and beautifull area, also for inexperienced hikers, away from the stones you have to watch out for wet feet

Fantastic place to relax and be. The sea, the air, the people, the place. There are many ways to discover.

Nice for a short walk. Look out if it’s been raining. Cliffs can be slippery. Lots of historical information on in signs along the walk way. Very nice.

👍👍 Nice view of Lysekil! Recommended, had children with us and could come your way with the children. A little more difficult to bring the stroller.
