Such a gorgeous little island. Very easy to get the ferry to from Strönmstad and fairly cheap too. It was a beautiful hot summers day when I went. There was only 2 restaurants where we got off on the island (North Koster) One of the restaurants was actually a hot dog/pizza stall. So be warned. But it was lovely to walk around.

Incredibly beautiful national park. Bring the kayak or bicycle and enjoy the natural beauty of this island archipelago.

Ferry to the islands and back was 280 SEK but it was fun. The island was quite nice with some wonderful scapes, a fantastic view and great trails to walk through. But there are lots of tourists in the main season of course, that was a little too stressful at the ferrys and main points

Beautiful islands with incredible beaches, hills and forests. Perfect for spending a day or even staying a little longer and exploring by foot. You can arrive at one ferry port and depart from another, so you can walk in pretty much any direction you want. Just be mindful of the time schedule.

So lovely to explore the beautiful seashore. Everything is closed down in November but on the plus side you get everything to yourself.

Not our favourite national park, but at least good. We payed 280 SEK for the ferry (round trip means return ticket btw). The ferry goes approx. every 2 hours. It took 4 hours to go around the South Island where the most part consists of the National Park. The yellow way was not very interesting, the red one at the coast was beautiful and the mini coral reef is really worth looking. This was nr 17 of 30 national parks for us. We recommend Skulleskogen for a more natural coast area.

Rude, dismissive staff at the naturium. I felt like I was bothering her with my questions about the park and animals :(

Nord-Koster and the ocean surrounding it is a great experience. The trail around the Nord-Koster island has a lot of different micro-landscapes, a rich bird life, and nice view towards the ocean and the sunset if you choose the right time of day.

Great place to hike around, beautiful sea and nice nature. Cute little red and white houses typical for Nordic countries. I took a ferry going from Stromsund north harbour to north Koster Island, then went for a hike around ended in south harbour, took a cable ferry for 10 SEK to South Koster Island, had a really good meal (Lasagne) in a new restaurant, then hired around south Koster Island and took a ferry back from east part of the island back to Stromstund.

Greate walkway after a short boat trip towards the Koster Island. A small paradise of you enjoy walking around the small island, watching and sharing it with the other tourists, travelers and the inhabitants.

👍 Really good place with lots of history. I wonder what Sven & Co, after carving their names in stone in 1665, would think of us all talking about them some 350 years later. And the fact that their little stunt is still here for us to see. Note that there seems to be two parking lots, our GPS sugges...
