A well preserved example of the local architecture with a surprisingly labyrinthine underground cellar. You can taste and buy the wine they produce. Worth to visit!

Amazing place. Beautiful Bulgarian revival architecture, caves and wine tasting. One of if not the best place to visit while in Melnik.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful authentic Bulgarian house almost 300 years old. It has a wine cellar and you can try from their local Melnik Wines.

Interesting winery in Melnik. Old and with deep ventilation and barrel storage aisles. Impressively.

Incredible house 🏠 the size of the rooms is incredible. Whole house is full with light and shine. Must see monument. The tour finishes with taste of wine produced in the tunnels below the house.

Its a great traditional and historical house of the Greek merchandiser Kordopoulos, who built that huge place up in the mountain in order to produce the best wine. All the rooms look like a museum and there are some impressive tunnels in the basement where the old barrels of wine are stored (check the video I have uploaded). There is a solar clock in the terrace and there is even a secret room in the house hidden in a closet (video also uploaded). You even get the chance to try some of the wine produced there, so I totally recommend visiting the place, even though there are too many stairs to get there.

An extremely well-preserved historical landmark. Would definitely recommend when visiting Melnik. The cellar offers a tasting of great wine, which can also be purchased at a normal price.

When you visit Melnik, it is important to stop by and have a tour of Kordopulov's House. It will give you a good idea about the past of Melnik and the wine training in Bulgaria as a whole.

The house is very well kept and the presentation inside is rather detailed and interesting. There is a summer garden which is the terrace at the top, and a winter garden which was ubfoetubaly closed when we visited. The tunnels were very interesting. The reception at the entrance was nice.

Stepping inside the Kordopulov House is like stepping back into the 18th century, when the Kordopulos family reigned as Melnik's winemaking elite. Four floors with wood carvings, stained glass windows, and frescoes tell the story of a family that dominated the region's wine trade. Wandering through the labyrinthine tunnels of the wine cellar, lined with colossal oak barrels. You can see traditional costumes, handcrafted tools, and everyday objects. Documented family records and historical exhibits. No visit to the Kordopulov House is complete without indulging in a tasting of the region's famed wines. The on-site winery uses centuries-old techniques to produce the unique Melnik varietals.

Well worth a visit! Very interesting house with wonderful features. The wine cellar is incredible! Would have bought wine from them as enjoyed the tasting but was too early in my trip to carry the bottles around. Would certainly recommend.

This is my second time visiting the place and I would definitely do it a third time if I had the chance. The house combines many styles in itself and is interesting to look at. Separately, the people who take care of the house improve and add new things. A wonderful place in beautiful Melnik.

Extremely outstanding!!! Very well maintained vast house which was built in 1754 by a greek family for making and preservation of wine. It has a 150m long underground tunnel for wine storing. Interior of the house is beautiful a massive hall with lots of windows made from Vienna glass, nice carpets, wall paintings, etc.,

Great historical monument. Detailed information on each bit. The wine we tasted was great but not much details on the different sorts and quantity was really low.

It is a great place, actually but lacks care from those running it. Ticket was (Oct 30, 2022) 5leva or 2.5euro. I suggest you to carry domestic currency. The place is great, because you can see hidden rooms, secret paths and a quite big cave with corridors, where they store barrels of wine (or used to store?). The ticket also includes wine tasting of 2-3 different wines, small quantities though... Why the 3 stars then? Because they could take more care of such a monument and they don't seem to care about hygiene in their WC. Additionally, in case you decide to walk your way up to the house, starting from the village, you should be ready to carry specific type of shoes. Don't even think of walking with something else but your sneakers... Leaving the village, I suggest you to try a few wines, in case you 're a collector or just a wine lover. Their red ones are quite tasty but this is relevant, you know...

Great example of the architecture from the Revival time. Take your time to see numerous details in each room. Leave a coin with a with at the end of the tunnel. Enjoy a glass vine and get a bottle for later on!

It is amazing. One room is bigger than one 3-room appartement. You will try home made wine there

Unique house, very well presented: a mixture of orthodox, traditional Bulgarian, venetian and oriental architecture and design. The wine we tasted in the stone winery was exceptional

Great place to visit! Beautiful little town with typical restaurants and shops. The museum was very well preserved, informative and definitely worth the visit. Don’t expect much of the wine (other wineries in the area offer better wine). Good signs and explanation in English and nice views of the area!

👍👍 Beautiful ruins of a huge old house. The view from there is amazing (especially at sunset). The path is a little bit steep and slippery.
