This place has gone from good to PATHETIC!!!!!!!! When I ordered Dinner - Rump Steak - I got 'minute steaks', I also had to ASK again for the sauce that was ordered with the meal that was not supplied. :-( For breakfast I had to advise them that you do NOT dish mince with a tongs as was supplied :-( They now charge FIVE STAR prices which is pathetic. New greedy owners and management!!!!!! Where do you pay R2150.00 for bed and breakfast. I use to stay there on all my previous Lesotho trips for business They will NOT see me again BEWARE OF THEIR PRICES!!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!!!!!

This is not only over priced but also horrific when it comes the way they do booking. The minute you arrive they ask you to send an email to make a booking, it's ok for the locals but if you are visiting from overseas you cannot access any data network so you stand there and they let your nightmare begin. To make matters worse, the staff is untrained with minimum hospitality ethics. The room door rattles with the breeze the whole night and there is no WiFi signal in any of the rooms even if you do get some signal in the reception area, it's hardly enough for a video call. The furniture inside the rooms are terrible, have a look at the attached image. I really don't know how they got their stars, they shouldn't be allowed to operate the hospitality business.

very nice place to stay. we stay for two weeks. I suggest doing self catering because it’s pretty expensive to pay for meals. but if you need A restaurant there is called oh la la across the street. there is a pool , parking.

It’s a very nice place to just chill at and take time to glance at Maseru right in the heart of it. 🩷🩷 They have great food and great rooms, also their staff is amazing, they also have reasonable prices and I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to fully experience Maseru in its deepest depths.

Lancer's Inn is cool and very secured place to be in Maseru. The staff and the people generally are cool. They provide an amazing service with a smile 😃

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very homely and welcoming. The food is a bit bland, lacks creativity and a bit below standard. It could do with a menu review but overall they have friendly staff & good service. The dessert is absolutely amazing. Worth the visit if you have a sweet tooth.

I was there for a drink with my cousin and I certainly enjoyed the bar and restaurant atmosphere. Nothing too much, it was actually quite chilled. Their service was also quite good. They even have Wi-Fi and the drinks prices were not bad hey. Go enjoy a chiiled afternoon or evening vibe by yourself or with a friend. They also have a nice outside area by the restaurant side, you can take quite a few good snaps that side.

Slow service but trust environment is a catch, a beautiful place with good meals, privacy yet still in town

Relaxing spot and very well hidden in the very centre of Maseru. Broad set of options regarding food and drinks. Not the cheapest and quite an international crowd and less locals. The restaurant seems to be a spot for expats and tourists and not so many people from Lesotho.

Had problems with the room and I didn't like the way the manager handled the issue. He eventually gave me a better room after complaining about the other room.

The hotel is under new management and it is currently a hive of activity with construction in progress. Whilst the hotel is neat and well maintained there are opportunities for improvement in the standard of rooms as the facilities somehow dated. However, The hotel's public areas are immaculately maintained with great lighting and classy wooden panelling. The breakfast is rather limited but well however, reasonably well prepared.

This place should fire their chefs. Came for lunch. The chicken and fish tasted like biltong that got salt spilled on it. Service was slow even by Lesotho standards and we waited well over an hour. Food was cold by the time it was served and it wasn't cheap either.

The room I got was huge but honestly pretty sad. Bathroom door didn't close all the way, furniture was broken down and dingy, and there was a constant parade of ants along the wall for the four days I was there. I know the place is undergoing renovations and that the rooms that have been finished are much nicer, so maybe when it's all done these problems will be a thing of the past. The restaurant is great for dinner and they will serve you at the poolside tables, which is fab. The breakfast is uninspired, however, so you're better off going to the cafe inside the Alliance francaise across the street.

👍👍 "The Market "is nestled in Maseru Mall with a great view of the mountains. Certainly a Maseru bucket list item! Clean comfortable and friendly environment. Higher end pricing but certainly worth it. Offers both indoor and Al fresco dining! The food was fresh and well-prepared. Highly recommended!
