Amazing food, very tasty. Freshly prepared and cooked. Very clean and modern. Was very busy, but still staff were attentive and polite. Can't wait to return

My best mates treated us for a Christmas meal a few days ago - and I can say that this place is a gem, and if you have been to Thailand yourself, the food selections will take you back to that country - everything is well-balanced when it comes to taste and the portion sizes are very good! Thai Green Curry, Jungle Curry, and the Starter Platter particularly the Chicken Satay and the Chili Squid are the best tasting dishes. I am coming back again next time :-)

Visited 22/05/23 for lunch menu. Pricing very good and portion size was spot on. Friendly staff and a warm authentic atmosphere. Will definitely visit again even although it’s a 40 min drive!

This was the sixth time I’ve visited The Golden Siam (Old Stevenage Town) - each occasion, never been disappointed with the authentic dishes from Thailand. So it wasn’t a surprise yesterday served an excellent Lamb Shank Panang Curry with Egg Fried Rice and a glass of Chardonnay! Also excellent service by the staff and chefs! 1st March 2023 - Once again we were treated with excellent Thai Cuisine at Golden Siam! Indeed, of the two Thai restaurants in Old Stevenage - this restaurant has become our ‘go to’ favourite point of call! Thanks to the Chef at Golden Siam and the staff for their friendly service! PS From now on I shall upload a picture or two - as the above words will apply my future visits to this Thai Restaurant! See you soon! Yesterday (25th May) was the first time I lunched at The Golden Siam - apart from the excellent food, I was surprised that a restaurant in Old Stevenage was open! There seems to be a belief by restaurants that people of Britain only eat in the evening, so they’re closed during daytime! However, The Golden Siam aware of customer needs - with special Low Cost lunch time menu at good value for money. I shall certainly be returning soon!

Food was really tasty. The gin and cucumber cocktail was also very good quality. My confit duck and pineapple main was delicious if not a little sweet for my normal taste. They also brought out a cake we had arranged for my dad's birthday, dimming the lights and singing to give a real special touch!

Visited Aug2022. A traditional exterior hides a modern interior, elegantly decorated with excellent lighting throughout. Great atmosphere. Food, wine and service is excellent. The food is superbly cooked, with maximum range of flavour packed into every dish. The venue is generous with its chili. The wine list is long and features wines from Thailand. Spicy food demands spicy wine, and the Monsoon Shiraz met the high standard demanded by the food. The restaurant is located in Old Town Stevenage, for which parking within 10 minutes walk away of the restaurant is plentiful.

Lovely food and older gentleman was very friendly. Very busy and seemed a bit chaotic and understaffed as various tables waited a while for food & drinks to arrive.

You would like to think that for the prices they charge you would get exceptional food. This is not the case. There is no music playing in the background, the place was reasonably busy but very dull. The food was bland, there were only 5 prawns in a prawn curry that cost £15 with no rice. The decor is the same as it was when it was an Italian restaurant. Very poor. Considering the competition down the road they have a lot of work to do to make me ever go back there.

Fragrant amd authentic. So much flavour in the dishes. Staff were very welcoming and service was extremely fast! Vegetarian options available with a vegetarian menu. Vegan options also available. Accommodate wheelchair users:- Wheelchair accessible & disability bathroom located on the ground floor. Ordered the Panang and Golden Parcels

Took my girlfriend and mum for a new years eve meal. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely amazing, and at no time where we under pressure to leave. Highly recommended restaurant 👌

First time to try out this Thai restaurant today. Dined in and decided to take home 2 orders of the lunch menu to take home but was told by the English waiter that it's not allowed to take home any lunch menu. As a customer I advise to put this on a big sign if it does cater the customer. Just a shame. I've been to thai restaurants all over London and the customer service I was offered today wasn't very satisfying. I ended up ordering from the main menu which I don't mind paying. Just expected a better customer service. No need to be rude.
