By far the best smash burger in a 20mile radius, food is always on point and the choice of flavours and ingredients are well thought out. Atmosphere is a no fuss but modern burger joint, not many tables in the restaurant but the turn over of tables is quite quick so you don’t wait long. Had the Christmas special of Santa Caws (love the themed/brand names of their burgers). 100% recommend if you’re in the area for a good burger.

Best burgers I've ever had, and I say that having been to many burger joints in London and abroad. We drive 40 mins from Ware to go to Cawsburger and it never disappoints. I always get the chicken burgers, and we love the novelty of when a special burger comes onto the menu (which normally means another trip is needed). The chips with all the toppings are also insane. The staff are always very nice and helpful. It would be great if there were more seats as it's a very popular spot (and rumour is you're coming to Hertford which would be amazing)!

Chicken burgers (Seoul sisters) were great. Only chicken is halal at this eatery. Maples BBQ nuggets were a bit too saucy and on the tangy side for me. Overall good place

This was the lunch special. Cheeseburger and chips for £7.99. I added a drink which then made it £10.19. Whilst the food is very nice I don't feel its enough for £7.99. Other members bought 1 burger for £15! Again they liked the taste but feel its overpriced.

Great food. Very tasty with some unusual combinations. Loved the Nugz. Only bad thing I can say it is was freezing inside. Switch the air con off please. 😉

Everything about this place looks pretty enticing. Great vibrant interior, a strong selection of tunes and lots of customers on tables with half empty boxes of meaty goodness. If also had a recommendation and so was excited to try a burger here. When trying a new spot I always go for a basic double cheeseburger. No frills or extravagant toppings to hide behind just simplicity done well. Hopefully. On this occasion I must colour myself slightly disappointed. The burger itself absolutely looked the part. Edges crisped to perfection. Chunky pickles poking out of a gorgeously glazed bun. Unfortunately on closer inspection the bun was untoasted, which in my experience is never a good sign, usually resulting in a soft soggy mess at what trying to mop up the last few bites. Fortunately that wasn't the case on this occasion but sadly because there wasn't much juice to speak of in the burger. While the meat itself glistened and didn't look too overcooked the whole experience was strangely still rather dry. I'm used to mopping up my hands with a great burger. This wasn't the case here. However the flavours of the burger were pretty good if a little 'shallow'. There seemed to be decent seasoning on the surface of the patties but that flavour disappeared once you bit into the patty. Altogether it's a good burger. But not a great one. And for the price, you'd hope for slightly better. 3.5/5 but a bit generous as it was my second burger of the day and so wasn't as famished as I might otherwise have been.

Easy, quick and delicious food/service. Had the santa claws burger and was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Been wanting to try Cawsburger for a while and I wasn't disappointed. I tried their two limited edition burgers, the peanut butter and raspberry jam and their fried chicken burger with a gherkin caramel burger sauce. The peanut butter burger was a good solid burger, balance was a little off, a little too much peanut butter and not enough jam but the burger itself was lovely and very well cooked. The chicken burger was even better, amazing chicken, so succulent and juicy, makes me wonder if they brine it. The crispy coating was so crispy and crunchy and well seasoned. What topped it off was the thick juicy gherkins in the burger, they were mega. Chips were very good solid chips, hit the spot. Very impressed, will be back soon!
