Everything
about
this
place
looks
pretty
enticing.
Great
vibrant
interior,
a
strong
selection
of
tunes
and
lots
of
customers
on
tables
with
half
empty
boxes
of
meaty
goodness.
If
also
had
a
recommendation
and
so
was
excited
to
try
a
burger
here.
When
trying
a
new
spot
I
always
go
for
a
basic
double
cheeseburger.
No
frills
or
extravagant
toppings
to
hide
behind
just
simplicity
done
well.
Hopefully.
On
this
occasion
I
must
colour
myself
slightly
disappointed.
The
burger
itself
absolutely
looked
the
part.
Edges
crisped
to
perfection.
Chunky
pickles
poking
out
of
a
gorgeously
glazed
bun.
Unfortunately
on
closer
inspection
the
bun
was
untoasted,
which
in
my
experience
is
never
a
good
sign,
usually
resulting
in
a
soft
soggy
mess
at
what
trying
to
mop
up
the
last
few
bites.
Fortunately
that
wasn't
the
case
on
this
occasion
but
sadly
because
there
wasn't
much
juice
to
speak
of
in
the
burger.
While
the
meat
itself
glistened
and
didn't
look
too
overcooked
the
whole
experience
was
strangely
still
rather
dry.
I'm
used
to
mopping
up
my
hands
with
a
great
burger.
This
wasn't
the
case
here.
However
the
flavours
of
the
burger
were
pretty
good
if
a
little
'shallow'.
There
seemed
to
be
decent
seasoning
on
the
surface
of
the
patties
but
that
flavour
disappeared
once
you
bit
into
the
patty.
Altogether
it's
a
good
burger.
But
not
a
great
one.
And
for
the
price,
you'd
hope
for
slightly
better.
3.5/5
but
a
bit
generous
as
it
was
my
second
burger
of
the
day
and
so
wasn't
as
famished
as
I
might
otherwise
have
been.
