We arrived after trekking with our Rucksacks on a cold day go be greeted by a wonderful couple. When they opened the door to our room, there was a log burner already ablaze and the room was lovely and warm......fantastic. These people are the salt of the earth....God bless

Recently spent 4 nights camping here and I think everyone was gutted we wasn't staying longer! It is a beautiful site, run by a lovely couple. There is so much space for the children to play without disturbing anyone else. The site is very family friendly. The facilities are perfect and maintained regularly throughout the day and night! I would recommend anyone to book here! Can't wait to book for next year! Thank you so much Liz and Graham 😊

This is such a peaceful and lovely place to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They are both more than happy to give you local suggestions and any help you need. The field is large, well maintained with spotless amenities. I fully recommend the site. In fact I am going back in a weeks time! Quiet, clean, friendly and well located. I was not a massive fan of the cockerel between 5 and 6am but eventually I grew to love them. It's well worth a stay

Brilliant hostel (much classier that the word makes it sound), nice rooms snd helpful arrangements esp. for groups and families. Excellent and popular (slightly separate) rural camp facilities and site. Attentive hands-on family-run site and hostel around former farm.

Friendly and helpful. Camp fires in an open fields under the stars is lovely. Very clean toilet and shower. If you need help or just won't to ask something they are very happy to help.

This is a total gem of a campsite. So peaceful and kept so very well. Owners are caring, considerate and look after their site with a real attention to detail. The local pub, The Chequers Inn was great for food, we ended up there three nights in a row. Food was delicious, so fresh and service was second to none! We will definitely be back!

A lovely place to stay for our family, we all had our own space and then could come together in the communial areas. Everything you could need plus garden space and a bbq. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Lovely place to stay, very friendly people running the site, always welcoming with a story to share. Very clean facilities and regularly maintained throughout the day and night. Pitches are well spaced and sized for a large family tent with space to spare. All distancing procedures have been well thought through. Enjoyed the fire pit of an evening and short walking distance from a nice local pub. Will be returning for another stay and recommend this site to all.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A no frills friendly campsite. Graham was helpful and friendly and didn't judge my dogs when the barked at him at first! (thank you Graham). Facilities were clean. Shower had good pressure and lovely hot water. The site is in a good area for visiting tourist attractions etc, and not far from retail parks if you want to shop or get a take away. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Graham and Liz.

We booked to stayed here for the night as we had a wedding booked at Great Higham Barn. The owner was so helpful and welcoming, it was a 20 min walk to the wedding and it was starting to rain and we didn't have coats, they kindly offered us a lift. The rooms were very clean with bedding and towels provided and there was cereals and milk in the fridge for breakfast. Highly recommended.

Stayed 2nights bell tent. Lovely tent with matress and picnic bench. You can rent cook ware and gas stove for cheap price. Hot Showers and toilets clean and well maintined. Careful not to park infront of office( rocks in situ) were you will be asked to report prior to getting into campsite. We were informed after booking no campfires will be allowed ( due to extreme hot weather condition) lucky to experienced campfire for one night but gutted not allowed on second night. Overall excellent camping place but not having allowed camp fire was a let down. Check before booking.

We had a great time at this campsite. I don't normally bother to write reviews, but this time I do because we really noticed some extra quality in every details. The place is basic and simple, but everything is just right. One thing I really liked it's the help provided to enjoy the area, by walking and cycling. The friendly owner is providing laminated sheets with the maps of some very nice local walks, and, on request, he emailed me some great cycling routes too.

This is a great place to hire to have groups of friends and family together. We rented the rooms in the Courtyard and the Granary to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary and all asked how we found this place! Great layout to be able to enjoy time together, with rooms nearby, with BBQs, tables with benches, a ping pong table, a table football and great amenities with a well-stocked kitchen. The Granary rooms were more luxurious, but what impressed everyone was the cleanliness and the fact that all rooms had en-suite shower rooms. It's great to be able to have a variety of rooms with 8, 6, 5, 4 or 2 beds, easily accommodating different families. The area is also very beautiful and the owners helpful, friendly and welcoming. At the end of our stay, our friends and family said they were looking forward to coming back next year - you never know! We highly recommend! Thank you Liz and Graham!

NB: Review for Camp One of the best camps we’ve been to! Location is perfect as it’s about 1 hour drive from London, close to the sea, close to local paths and woods. In two nights we’ve stayed, we almost never heard the road. Tent pitches have generous sizes. Family friendly policy is great. We felt very comfortable letting our kids roam around freely. Overall it’s a 5* camp. Thanks a lot to the owners for offering such a great experience.

The campsite is lovely, plot sizes are good, and there is plenty of space. Functional toilets and a washing up area, as well as a shower that appeared to be perfectly fine. The site was nice and quiet, and the lady in the office was very helpful. There is the option to rent a firepit and purchase wood etc, which is really nice. Overall, definitely recommend, will absolutely be going back.
