It's a great hostel, the kitchen is well-stocked, common spaces are well maintained and it's very safe. There are also female-only dorms that are not too huge, beds are comfy and in-room toilets are cleaned regularly. My check-in experience was terrible. I had already started my stay at the hostel through a booking via portal1 and the girl at the reception only needed to extend my stay through the portal2 booking and process the payment. Not sure what she did, but all my cards were declined when she was at the helm, when just three days before, her colleague (a tall guy) had checked me in just fine. She was unhelpful and treated me poorly as if I was trying to pull off some criminal act. As I'm a regular traveller, I've observed check-in staff at both hostels and expensive hotels process payments from all sorts of international cards, so I could see she was clueless. She could have asked for help from someone, but she didn't and proceeded to treat me poorly instead. I actually had to go out in my slippers (as I had lost access to my room and my shoes were inside) to withdraw cash through the very same cards that were declined and supposedly dodgy. (I had actually even used one of them the day before so know it wasn't me/my card at fault). When I paid cash on my return, she then tried to play the victim - I reckon she knew she was being a bit racist earlier, though I didn't say anything back even though I was angry. Anyway, it was an uneventful stay otherwise, just some of the new staff don't seem to know what they are doing, and are unnecessarily rude to cover up their own incompetence.

Cheap, convenient, old-style hostel with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms with very clean ensuite bathrooms with shower. Location is Mile End, not the most glam part of East London but still great if you, like me, love dwelling in the City of London. Bus stops and metro just 5 minutes away, a Co-op and a Costa Cafe round the corner. At check in you can request padlock, adaptor and towel against a small fee. Wifi works great. Honestly, a very good deal

Friendly place with helpful staff, good covid protocols. We had a private room, beds were really comfortable, room was clean and spacious with an en suite shower room. Recommend it if you need a short stay in the area, good value. Chilled out and quiet stay, no dramas.

Terrible customer service , unreliable. I booked over the phone today at 8pm when there was a room available for my friend and told them he will arrive later. Once we got there a man and the lady working in reception said that I didn't call them and they weren't aware of my booking when it was the same two accents that I heard over the phone, they denied it right in my face. I kept my composure even though they had the oudacity to cause such an inconvenience and lie in our faces, honesty is not a policy in that place. Told me there's no more space there and had to find something else after a long tiring trip. Why didn't they just make all this clear from the beginning instead of causing this nuisance. Told them they can't get away with this so that's why I am leaving a poor review and I will be back in the future to educate them.

Authentic hostel experience, well located for travel into Central London. It's not like your modern funky hostels and is all the better for it.

Park Villa is a lovely hostel. The staff are very warm and friendly and the rooms are well laid out and have everything you need. I was in a private room for 2 weeks and it was a perfect home base while I searched for a flat and set myself up in London. If I had one complaint it would be the shower in my room tended to get clogged easily and I am not a fan of the single unit twist shower apparatus that was installed. Definitely a great hostel in a none tourist area of London. But also super easy to get anywhere from Park Villa.

I recently stayed at here and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The location was perfect - next to Victoria Park and just a short walk from the city center and close to public transportation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. The hostel also had a fully equipped kitchen, which was great for preparing my own meals. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great and calm place to stay while exploring London. The staff, facilities, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back!

This was my first stay at this hostel and I'm more than happy! On my arrival the manager offered me a chocolate truffle made by one of the stuff and it was delicious!Thank you! I liked everything about my stay! The location close to the tube station and the bus stop, shops and cafes around, beautiful Victoria park and Regent Canal. The staff was nice and welcoming. I liked the fact that there's an option of buying a breakfast although I didn't use it this time, but I liked the kitchen and the fact that I could leave the food in the fridge. The bed was comfortable and had a privacy curtains which was one of the reasons why I chose this hostel. My room looked on the busy and noisy street during the day, but the night was quiet and didn't hear anything. I would come again and would recommend it.

Well located, close to the subway station, well organized, friendly service from the staff, the bathroom is shared, however it makes it a lot easier because there are 4 units I thank the reception especially KΓ‘tia (Mexico) and Emanuelle (Brazil) for their help with details. I recommend.

Not very covid safe, minimal mask enforcement/use, sometimes the kitchen is crowded by people staying at hostel and staff. Other than that it is perfect, space for bicycle parking good kitchen, nice beds, adequate storage good location.

Park villa is an excellent place, very clean and quiet, the location is unbeatable, close to the park, underground station and central London, well-lit and ventilated rooms, with everything you need for a short or long stay, well-equipped kitchen, cozy spaces and the best of all are the people who work there, very dedicated and warm, they made me feel at home, and were very efficient solving problems and adapting quickly, without major complications....For me that is very important, especially if you travel alone, I really appreciated the good energy and would definitely return without thinking.

Great hostel - stayed in a female-only dorm, located near a tube station. Convenience stores and restaurants nearby too. Multiple bathrooms outside of the room too which is great. Kitchen is well-stocked and I made a couple of my own meals there too. Breakfast is also offered. Staff are friendly and welcoming - was given a quick tour of the hostel when I first arrived too.

The location of the hostel is nice, close to the metro station. The employee from Hong Kong was really friendly. rooms are good. Bathrooms and toilets were in bad condition and their cleanliness was terrible. bathroom drains were full of hair and clay

I have booked this place because of its location and because I was looking for a hostel where I could feel comfortable as a single traveller. The area is close to Roman Road Market, places to check out, great connection to the rest of the city, safe and many parks around the corner. Also I spotted a fox! (that was on my London bucket list haha) The rooms were clean, the bathrooms cleaned daily and the breakfast was a super nice deal. But most and foremost I loved the hostel staff. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I was fortunate to meet many different people that I got to hangout and have fun with. Special thanks to Xenia, Lucas, Ali, Ian and all the others. Love you lots! I can't wait to return :) <3

This was my first ever stay in a hostel. But I got lucky going to this hostel. The location was good, near public transport and some restaurants. The service was great, the people who work there are very nice and talkative, they make you feel welcome. The rooms got cleaned every day. I stayed in a room with regular beds, no bunk beds. Which is a plus for me as I have rheumatism, so sleeping on a good and regular bed is so much better. There are multiple bathrooms in the hallway which have a shower and bath, which all looked pretty clean. The kitchen is nice and there are a lot of materials you can use if you want to make your own meals. Fridges to keep your food fresh and a labeling system if you keep your products in the fridge or any other storage space. Overall I really enjoyed staying at Park Villa and I definitely recommend it!

As my first hostel experience, I think it was perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, toilets and room were clean and the bed was super comfortable. Although the location is a bit far from central London, there’s a bus stop right outside and tube station nearby. Overall, very good!!

Great location close to the underground, national express line A8 to the airport and multiple bus stops. The hostel was super clean and well stocked and the staff were incredible! I had a stress free stay.

This was such a gem to find and just perfect for what we needed. Ideally located close to the tube station and the venue we were visiting, and fantastic value for money, we had a large, private room with en-suite, fridge and kettle etc, work/desk space, sofa area and two twin beds. The room was clean and ready for our check in time at 12pm (earlier than most places). We only stayed for one night and didn't use the communal kitchen or any facilities available outside of our room. More space, better located, and cheaper than booking a hotel room.

Would highly recommend Park Villa hostel and I would stay there again! All the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It's in a well connected area with lots to do nearby. Good clean facilities all round with a communal kitchen and a value breakfast deal. Bunks have curtains and lockers with a plug socket and light. The rooms are ensuite and there are also extra shower rooms. The best part about the hostel was the warm community feel and meeting lots of new people!

My stay at Park Villa has been amazing. The atmosphere if you want more of a quiet stay is great, and I would say is a very good place to stay if you have to do something in East London, ExCel center and such. Shout-out to all the staff, specially Xenia and Tay, for being so welcoming making my stay there much better.

The location is cool. Really close to parks, pubs, local markets and a Tube station. Some of the facilities are a little run-down. I slept really badly because the room was too hot and the other guests were loud. It was a good base to have, but I honestly avoided being here as much as possible.

I stay at this hostel overnight every week because I work nearby. This hostel is ideal for commuters and I'm not the only one. The staff are very helpful and the facilities at the hostel (e.g., kitchen) are fine for preparing breakfast and evening meals.

Stayed in room 6 (twin en suite with fridge and microwave) Just to note room didn't have a TV Gorgeous spacious room! Hostel is easy to reach on the central line and 5 mins walk from Mile End tube station, restaurants cafes and a CO-OP. Some noise on the first night from drunk guests in the lobby, but it was resolved quickly. Didn't use the kitchen but it looked very clean. Breakfast is Β£3 per day. Great stay., no complaints

A truly disappointing stay! The heaters in the room were too hot with no way to adjust (even after requesting). I live in South East Asia where temperatures are generally over 33 degrees c - the heating was oppressive at the hostel. When I asked for help from staff, I was told that only management had the control to change the settings the next day. As such, I had to resort to sleep in a chair in reception for a couple of hours just for some rest. There was no duty of care shown as staff on duty were unable to help without management confirmation. I had booked to stay for four nights, but due to the situation in the room had to leave after one. Wrote a message to the management about this issue and only got a response 13 hours later when I was checking out - with the previous night’s issue at the mercy of management, this delay in response causes me further concern.

I’m super happy with this hostel. The best hostel experience I’ve ever had. When I wanted to check-in, there was a technical issue and my room was fully booked (4-bed room). The management upgraded my booking to a private room without charging any extra money! They do their best to give you a great experience. Apart from that, the bed was very comfortable and clean. They clean the bathrooms regularly and there is always paper towel in the toilets. The breakfast is only 3 pound. You don’t need to wash you dishes! Just put them in the washing machine! The location is also very close to a tube station (Mile End – District line). Many shops and restaurants are around the hostel. In general, I do recommend this hostel. The lovely staff of the hostel make everything smooth.

We only stayed their for one night and didn’t spend much time in the hostel but really lovely team. Rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. I really liked the fact there were privacy curtains and fans/lamps/little safes with space for chargers etc. it made everything feel cosy.

Average. For the same price u can stay closer to the city in quieter rooms. My shared room of 4 was next to a road and loud. Staff were ok but not overly helpful. It says u get all this free stuff but it’s just cheap hand soap and shower soap πŸ˜‚

This is probably one of the best hostel I've been so far. The area is not very central, but it's quiet and the underground is just around the corner. The hostel has all the facilities in place and the building is well kept. The room was clean and tidy and also very cosy. The welcoming was very warm and the people at the reception super friendly (especially Jin). I will definitely come back on my next trip to London!

10/10 AMAAAZINGGGG PLACE to stay! Super friendly and helpful people, clean sheets & beddings, very well located, you can get some of the amazing food by foot easily! The strawberry juice in breakfast was insane!

The friendliest hostel in town. I was amazed at how each and every person at the reception or around was always helpful and friendly. There's a community feel to this hostel, especially around the kitchen, which I loved. Also, very very clean and comfortable. 100% would recommend !
