Great place to spend the time and have a fun. Fantastic place for the families. Plenty of parrots. Some of parrots are sitting outside so you can touch them, feed or hold on your hand/arm. A lot of very big and colorful parrots as well as very tiny. Except the birds there is a small wood to walk and the picnic area with the playground. There is a shop and the coffee shop with snacks and the ice creams. Car park free of charge. Few toilets. I was really enjoyed the trip there and I made some good photos of birds. Yes, I recommend this place. Especially for the children who like the animals.

This place was actually amazing! We decided to take a family trip out as we were in the area to this gem. I thought it would just be an average bird land with cages up bird but it was actually very very nice. There are tropical cages parrots some of which are massive as well as small budgies. Some of the cages are open walk in ones where you can actually pick the birds up yourself and play around with them. The best part is the huge open land where there are more than 50+ tropical parrots all in the same place where you can just go up and they will come onto your arm. Hold them as long as you want, let them go on your shoulder etc. Fantastic experience and the cost was only £10 for adult entry! 100% worth a visit and easily spent 2-3 hours there

If you suffer from ornithophobia don't go here. A very well thought of and laid out place to visit if you like birds of the feathered variety. A great selection of birds that will quite happily come and perch on you and eat birds treats from your hands. Staff are very friendly and on hand if you get too much attention from a macaw. Very good value money, clean and pleasant facilities. Cafe menu is a little limited and as you find in a lot of places slightly high price for what you get but it is what it is, a great day out and will definitely return in the future 👍

What a lovely little place !! On our way to Kenilworth, thought we'd stop off and have a look. Some gorgeous birds, beautiful colours, loads of information on each aviary, and many many free flying parrots, etc. All looked really well cared for. A little woodland walk, a well priced cafe. The obligatory shop to walk through on the way out. Reasonably priced - us old folk were £7.35, but a family of 4 was £31 - which, for what you've got here, is very good value. Play area looked good. Loads of picnic benches. Several toilet blocks ... and loads and loads of birds, many tame and happy to sit on your shoulder.

A great place, I especially recommend it to people who are struggling with depression, although it is quite loud there, Birds allow you to calm down and give a lot of tenderness, you can feed them, although sometimes they can grab a finger 🥰, clothes preferably with a zipper, no buttons, earrings, chains, the camera is also nibbled. Great place, I will go back there at least once a month. I started sightseeing at 12:30 pm left with closing at 4:30 pm. There is a cafe where you can eat a hot meal and drink, there are toilets, a large playground for children, a place to sit outside

Absolutely amazing place. The birds are incredible. First aviary I walked up too, I hear a hello from a ball of green feathers. We had birds land on our head in one of the feeding aviarys. And the walkway at the end... I'm speechless. So many birds, 80% will let you hold them. Everyone happy to be fed of course All the staff are very welcoming and local weekly visitors are very informative. We have now become sponsors.

Absolutely love this place. Very entertaining for all ages. You can get really up close to the birds here and (most) are well behaved! Just be careful as some do nip! Very nice food from the cafe and a big play area for the kids. This is probably my forth visit and I thoroughly enjoy it every time!

Lovely to get up close to some of the most amazing tropical birds. Staff are friendly, the birds are amazing although some might bite you, that could be due to the heat of today (was 27 degrees!). Great day out with family and kids. The kids really enjoy feeding the birds as bird food is available to buy at reception. Avery are lovely too birds will come and sit on your hands etc. Cafe is nice too & even has a outdoor play area and seating while eating. Definitely recommend to visit here.

An absolute top class place to visit. There was nothing but smiles on all our faces at todays visit. It’s set out lovley, the birds are all so well cared for, and I even loved the goats! Fell in love with a gorgeous blue bird called Neville, I think he was a macaw of some sort but I’ve forgotten. Entry price is extremely reasonable and you just can not go without buying bird food. I suggest buying every sort going. If you limit yourself to one sort you’ll miss out feeding some of the birds. The cafe was amazing!!! The little birds nest cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The bird walk at the end is the highlight of the visit, so many of the birds happily climb onto your arm, shoulder or head! Even my wheelchair didn’t phase them. Honestly I highly recommend a visit here! We loved it and plan to sponsor Neville and visit often.

This place is great for all ages and abilities. Wheelchair friendly. Loads of different birds to see and at the end you can get up close and personal with handling them, they have a very large area with plenty feed and encourage onto your hands/shoulder etc. There are great knowledgeable staff around to help and interact with. There is also a reasonable cafe on site which is reasonably priced and food is of good quality

Really well set up and so cheap considering how much it usually costs to take a family on a day out. Plenty of opportunity to handle the various birds. The food for humans is well priced and tasty. It doesn't cost a lot for food for the birds either. I would recommend you go at opening times if you wish to feed the birds as they'll be constantly fed throughout the day and therefore not be very hungry by 1pm. 100% will be going again

Just loved my time here. Thoroughly blew my expectations out of the water. £10 for entry and £2 for some nuts (for feeding birds) and off I wondered. So many beautiful, friendly birds to say hi to and feed, and then the huge interaction area where all their parrots and other tropical birds can be fed, stocked and can sit on your arm! Such a peaceful and fulfilling experience. Obviously you need to read all their signage and observe etiquette for interacting with them. Keep kids under control etc. Can't rate the park and other staff highly enough. Plenty of team members about to help and instruct you. As 80% are Rescue birds it's just so worth your time to experience this and support them with a visit. Brilliant. Loved it.

Great venue for getting close to many exotic birds. Children will love feeding and having parrots climb all over them. There is a play area and cafe serving hot and cold refreshments. The range of exotic birds is impressive.

I came here today. Both my sons loved it. So many amazing birds and you can easily spend ages here. I was a bit taken back with the price of entry but it was a good few hours here and made it worth it. Many beautiful birds here to look at and fell in love with many of these birds. I definitely recommend coming here especially in better weather... today was cold otherwise I would have stayed even longer.

We had a great time out, it isn't huge but we managed to spend 5 hrs there. The prices are reasonable, and it was so much fun. The staff were great, especially in the parrot walk, helping out and answering toilets. The cafe was also well priced, and a small wait but given how busy it was, it was not too bad. The park is brilliant for kids, and there is a fair amount of seating. Loved feeding the beautiful birds x

It's definitely worth the money! I visited with family on a weekend and was worried it would be expensive, but to my surprise, the admission prices were very reasonable. There was a wide variety of birds, all looked beautiful and appeared to be well looked after by the sanctuary. The place itself was also very tidy. The staff around the sanctuary were also knowledgeable, easy to approach, and friendly. It was clear that they had the birds' interests at heart and were also very effective at communicating with people too, making sure that when the birds were on the grass, they were left in peace. The fact sheets by the birds were good as they allowed children to read which foods each of the birds like, and the bags of feed to go around with was a great touch. There is a park for children to play on, and the big slide definitely has a thumbs up from the kids. The last part was definitely the favourite as there were so many birds that allowed you to handle them, and it was a fantastic experience. The only thing that let Tropical Birdland down were the staff in the cafe. One of the burgers we ordered was missed, which meant everyone had finished eating, and the last person's order still hadn't arrived. Then, when the staff were informed of the missing item, and they finally sent it out, they ignored the request to have no tomatoes on it due to an allergy. Not only that, but when trying to inform them about the issue they by standing at the till, and they didn't acknowledge my partner. He went to the kitchen door to inform them after waiting for 10 minutes only to see a group of the cafe staff standing around talking. Furthermore, none of the staff in the kitchen wore hair nets despite having long hair that wasn't tied up properly. The whole experience in the cafe really let it down, and if we were to visit again, we would not use the café.

I love this place so much, such a good place to visit with your family. My young daughter loved seeing and feeding all the different colourful birds. Extra marks goes to the fantastic park area and a wonderful eatery where you can have a lovely cup of coffee and a nice bit of grub on the side.

We had a lovely few hours here with our granddaughter. There are plenty of seats where we could enjoy the amazing birds. The facilities are very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe is excellent and very reasonably priced. The playground gave us a welcome break whilst she went off and played.

It was a wonderful experience for Kids and adults as well. We spent almost half a day there and enjoyed it. Parking - Onsite free parking with lots of space. Ticket - No need to book tickets in advance. Recommendation - you may food from ticket counter or get nuts from home. Suggest to reach early part of morning as crowd will be less and parrots will be hungry so they will eat. As the day pass, more people will turn so parrots might not be too much hungry!! :)

I went here for a family day out with my Wife, Son, Daughter-in-Law and the grandchildren. They have a great size car park, the entrance was good and efficient, I would recommend buying bird food here, the layout of the park is great and the paths are flat meaning using pushchairs or similar was easy… the parrot walk was excellent and this is where using the bird food is great as you will get some lovely birds sitting on your arms and shoulders to eat the food, just be mindful the birds love toggles, buttons, and jewellery. The cafe was great with a good selection nice food and drinks, and the pricing is what you would expect 👍🏻, also has a great play park for the children, all the staff were amazing, friendly and very approachable. So if you like tropical birds then I would definitely recommend visiting, it’s a great experience and wether you are young or old it’s a great family day out

Great place to visit. My son has autism and loves visiting this place . The interaction with all the exotic birds is great. He loves being able to hold them and feed them . He really opens up. There's a great gift shop and small bags of fruit and nuts you can purchase to hand feed to parrots. He would visit daily if he could. Highly recommend a visit.

Great interaction with the birds, plenty of walk through aviaries and fab open area at the end with the birds. Best to be there earlier so the birds don't get full by the end. Cafe lovely clean area with nice selection of food - sandwiches, burgers, jackets. Kids outdoor play area really nice too plenty to do for my kids 5 & 6

Good Park too for younger ones and plus they let them fly around which is nice. Great place would recommend it for others.

What a lovely place to visit. Birds so well looked after and so nice how you can feed them and spend time with them. Always someone on hand to help out with the birds, if they get too interested in your clothing. My boys all loved it and would happily go again.

Fantastic zoo offering a rare chance to get up close with the amazing birds in their care. Huge thank you to Jamie who introduced us to a few of the parrots and gave us lots of information about the birds, both the about the species in general and the individual birds themselves. The staff clearly care deeply about all of them, the facilities are great and overall it's an excellent visit - highly recommend!

A really great day out with or without kids, Birdland is really carefully thought out and completely unlike what we expected. Unlike bird areas in a traditional zoo; this is very interactive, with well crafted walks through aviaries, a short woodland walk for a bit of peace and quiet and an open area full of all types of tropical birds to feed, touch, and allow to climb all over you! We had been meaning to visit for a long time and were super pleased we did, although with a little one a weekday is probably quieter as it got very busy. Plenty of gravel car parking, decent toilets with baby change and a cafe - although this had a bit of wait.

Really good place to go. Some of the most colourful parrots there, apparently 80% are ex pets where the owners could not cope. They have a section where some birds are on the fence and trees by the paths where you can touch them. My favourite was Glen, a yellow and blue Macaw who stole my hat and gave me a kiss. Epic experience.

Very nice place with different types of birds available and some other animals such as goats and an emu there. Lots of parking available outside and you have the option of buying fruit or nuts to feed the birds for an extra price. The birds look well looked after and will happily eat the fruit or nuts you give to them. Toilet facilities available, there is a cafe to eat at and a play area for the kids - whilst we attended it looks like it was being expanded. The highlight is the parrot walk towards the end where you can get into close contact with the birds and can hold them.

Really nice day out. Went with an 18month old and 2yr old who enjoyed feeding the birds! Very reasonably priced to getting, you're allowed to buy fruit and nuts to feed the birds, following what their cage says they can have. The picnic area is spacious and undercover, which is brilliant for prams/motorbility. Parking is easy, its a lovely walk around with walking cages where you interact with different species etc.

We absolutely loved Tropical Bird Land! We were there for hours! The kids really enjoyed feeding the birds and handling them. Everything was clean and well taken care of. There were a couple of enclosures that you could ordinarily go in but were closed on the day we went which was a bit disappointing but we could still see the birds. We didn't eat in the cafe but took a picnic and there were plenty of places to eat. The day we went was a rainy day so we didn't go on the playground at all but there were places to shelter... We spent a lot of time looking at flamingos! The value for money is excellent. We paid £35 for 2 adults, 2 children and 2 boxes of food and we were there about 3-4 hours. We couldn't take the kids to the cinema for that and they definitely want to go back. Thank you Tropical Birdland for a great day out!!

Great place to visit, adults and children alike will enjoy. All birds looked nicely kept, good sized enclosures. Ability to buy food for the birds with clear coloured plastic discs situated on the side of enclosure stating which food is suitable for each of the birds. Picnic area had plenty of tables and space. Toilets clean and good hand washing facilities. Brilliant play area for the kids of all ages. Walk through parrot section is good fun but be warned, the parrots like to nibble zips, ties, hoody laces etc. Staff there to rescue you and out the birds back on their perches if you wish. In summary, a fantastic day out.

Me and my friend took her children here for a few hours and absolutely loved it! We managed to get a family ticket for £36 and paid an additional £6 for some food for the birds (a bag full of different types for all the birds). It doesn't take long to walk around the place, but if you stop at each exhibit and read about the birds, then it does make it longer. We found the information really interesting, and the majority of the birds were visible. We were greeted by a little bird who decided to take comfort on my friends shoulder half the way around, which was really cute too. They have a play area for the kids next to a picnic area and a cafe. I'm not sure about the prices of the cafe as we took our own lunch. They also have a walk through area with some of the parrots on perches, and you are able to feed, hold and stroke the birds. The staff were on hand if there were any questions and for general assistance. Overall, a good few hours out, you could probably spend the day here and stretch it out but I think we had done in about 3 and a half hours. Would recommend!

Highly recommend if you like parrots and birds! You can feed the parrots that are in enclosures throughout the park (and one will even ask for their head scratched!) and at the end there is an open area for some of the parrots so that you can properly interact with them. The parrots are very sweet and cute, but birds will let you know if they want you to go away! As an autistic, Birdland is one of my favourite places to come and I really do recommend it.

Really loved seeing the different birds and being able to feed most of them. The birds liked to come to you within the aviary. We had the last time slot of the day so missed some of the birds at the end as they did start putting the parrot away a bit early. Also no time left to go on the playground.

I love coming here and seeing the parrots and other birds and not forgetting the goat's. It's wonderful to see parrots in groups and having freedom. I've always wanted a parrot but I know the amount of care, attention and love they need. Here is the next best thing I get to have a parrot for a few hours. Mango (the parrot) is so sweet and stayed with me the whole time I was there, he was fast to sleep on my shoulder most of the time. Plus two large macaws tried to groom me, they were so friendly. I honestly could have taken them home. If you love parrots then topical birdland is amazing. You can buy food to feed the birds fruit mix, nut mix, meal worms and millet we bought two bag's of each and our bags were empty on leaving. We soon worked it out that walnuts and grapes were always a big hits. . We've been taking our son here since he was a toddler and never had any concern over safety at the end of the day they are your responsibility to make sure they are safe and also teach them how to respect and treat birds and animals. Tropical Birdland offers a great day out for a family and is extremely reasonably priced. The owner opened the doors and shared his passion with the public and I'm so pleased he did. The amazing work they do here is outstanding. He obviously has got amazing team that help him run topical birdland that are helpful and friendly and a wealth of knowledge about each and every parrot. It would be nice to know more about the parrots back story for them who have been rescued or hand reared at topical birdland. Plus if they had names so that the public could actually call them instead of "hello" the amount of times I heard people shouting hello instead of names. Especially with the parrots that want to be handled. It would be great to know their back story how they got to be at topical birdland. There is a video on YouTube that does tell you about some of the parrots and their journey in life, well worth watching. The owner obviously cares deeply and spends lots on the environment and enclosures for these birds. We've seen how it's changed and evolved over last eighteen years. We've had a wonderful family day out and we will be back before autumn kicks in to visit again. Thank you for a great time after months of lock down.

Great visit its a small attraction but you get to be close to the birds. Recommend getting some food at the gate, birds come close and are friendly.

(Translated by Google) A great place. I recommend visiting with children. Parrots sit down willingly and their hands can be fed. Very friendly service (Original) Super miejsce. Polecam odwiedzić z dziećmi. Papugi chętnie siadają a ręce można je karmić. Bardzo przyjazna obsluga

Lovely place! Love the bit at the end where you can pet and hold so many different parrots! Lots of different types of birds to see and hold, you can feed them too. All the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable

A great day out as usual, friendly staff, good hot chocolate and delicious food in the cafe. Staff helpful and informative, great for the kids to get close to the birds. Very enjoyable and highly recommended ☺

Wonderful place! Loved the birds. So great to see them all happy and many free to fly around out of their cages. I have never seen so many parrots free and so content to be around humans. Mango came around the whole place with us as you can see. Great fun for the kids work walk and play area. Happily go back there again. They are gearing up too, putting in nice accessible paths for people. Soon be looking even better for visitors in that respect.

Such a lovely place, the birds are well kept and seem very happy. The best bit for me is the hands-on areas during the walk and at the end. Overall, an amazing family day out.

Lovely place for a day out. Not too big but definitely enough to spend some quality time there :-) opportunity to touch or feed parrots. There is a big playground for kids age 4+ and some swings for those younger than 4. There is also a cafe with hot/cold drinks, hot/cold food, outside and inside sitting area.

A small but lovely place. Bought some bags of food to feed the birds, and enjoyed feeding them. The parrots and birds at the end were so friendly they would come on your arms and sit and let you stroke them. Well worth a visit.

A lovely day out, lots of different birds to see. The weather was chilly when we visited my grandson loved it, we are planning a return visit in the summer.

Lovely place to visit a fantastic play area for kids and a friendly cafe. You can take a picnic too. The birds sit on you if you want them to, and you can go around as many times as you like

Lots of the cages were open allowing birds free flight. There is an area where you can handle many different breeds of birds, most are rescues. Great place! Crazy to see a macaw just come flying over you like we are in their jungle!

Great day out with the kids. Reasonably priced with a lovely cafe, play area on site too. Kids really enjoyed the parrot walk too. Tickets are available on door only.

This is our second visit and it was just as much fun as the first time. Lots of birds to look at and feed, goats to feed. Walk through the woods and lots of Parrots to hold. So enjoyed the play area, yummy rustic chips and cake.

A must visit place if you are a bird lover. Great place for kids and families. There are many varieties of friendly free flying birds. We fell in love with them. Will definitely go back if we go to Leicester.

Definitely worth a visit. A good variety of different birds. It's an outside attraction, a lot bigger than I thought. Free parking close to the entrance & a cafe with indoor & outdoor seating.

Amazing place with so many species of birds. The last section with the free flying birds was the best. The birds are all very tame and will happily walk all over you. It’s great if you are a bird lover. You can buy small packets of nuts/other foods to feed the birds. I would advise going early as then the birds will be hungry and take the snacks off you. We went just after lunchtime so by then the birds are pretty full. The price is really cheap too, great for a family day out.

Really nice place! Lots of bird varieties on show. Bird feed available to purchase at entrance. Kids loved it plus there is a playground for them to enjoy too. Recommend going early as it starts to get busier by mid afternoon plus the birds are pretty full by then. Free parking available too.

So we went here probably around 8 years ago with my eldest. We loved it back then and we still loved it now. The work the staff do here is fantastic. There are a variety of birds and when the weather is good it is a great place. Lots of benches for picnics, as well as a lovely play area. The highlight has to be the birds at the end near the cafe, which sit and climb on the guests. You can stroke them and sit them on your arms. Be awarded they like buttons, sunglasses and can tear your clothes with their beaks. But it is all part of the experience. I would definitely recommend, if you have never been before.

I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is. A bird lovers dream. Just fell in love with each and every bird. Amazing staff who were very helpful and the atmosphere was just the best. Cannot wait to come back again. Perfect for all ages

Beautiful place that was filled with many magnificent birds. It's a wonderful place and is lots of fun seeing and feeding all the majestic birds and was made even more special by the end section where you even get to hold a few of them. The two gentlemen in the parrot garden were amazing too, as they were watching over the whole area whilst being so caring and considerate of the birds and answering any questions you may have/ assisting you with your bird experiences. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went around twice!

We went an hour and a half before closing and wish we got there earlier. What a fun day! I have never seen anything like it. The birds are just sitting waiting for you to come up to them with feed. They climb onto you and you can get some wonderful pictures with them. Walking round we had a parrot even say hello to us! We had a wonderful time (as an adult couple) and think people of all ages would love this as a day out. Very affordable too. Also the goat was lovely! Super friendly.

Lovely place, I try visit atleast once a month (I have an annual pass) 😊 but the level you get to interact with the birds names this better than most zoos for me, you also have some different animals here, Meerkats recently got added, you have Goats 🐐 many different types of birds you have Wallaby's, Ostriches so it's got a good variety but the main attraction for me is the bird walk at the end just seeing them out in the open seeing every birds personality makes you appreciate them a lot more! So definitely visit if you ate thinking about it! If you're brave enough you can have them on your shoulder or just fed them you can buy nuts and fruits at the entrance to feed them

👍👍 A birthday present from two years ago. We finally made it and well worth the wait? I'll say. Our guide, Pete, was very knowledgeable about the bikes and building them but also about casting, machining, tolerances and processes. He talked about Triumph with great enthusiasm, not just as an employee....
