It's
definitely
worth
the
money!
I
visited
with
family
on
a
weekend
and
was
worried
it
would
be
expensive,
but
to
my
surprise,
the
admission
prices
were
very
reasonable.
There
was
a
wide
variety
of
birds,
all
looked
beautiful
and
appeared
to
be
well
looked
after
by
the
sanctuary.
The
place
itself
was
also
very
tidy.
The
staff
around
the
sanctuary
were
also
knowledgeable,
easy
to
approach,
and
friendly.
It
was
clear
that
they
had
the
birds'
interests
at
heart
and
were
also
very
effective
at
communicating
with
people
too,
making
sure
that
when
the
birds
were
on
the
grass,
they
were
left
in
peace.
The
fact
sheets
by
the
birds
were
good
as
they
allowed
children
to
read
which
foods
each
of
the
birds
like,
and
the
bags
of
feed
to
go
around
with
was
a
great
touch.
There
is
a
park
for
children
to
play
on,
and
the
big
slide
definitely
has
a
thumbs
up
from
the
kids.
The
last
part
was
definitely
the
favourite
as
there
were
so
many
birds
that
allowed
you
to
handle
them,
and
it
was
a
fantastic
experience.
The
only
thing
that
let
Tropical
Birdland
down
were
the
staff
in
the
cafe.
One
of
the
burgers
we
ordered
was
missed,
which
meant
everyone
had
finished
eating,
and
the
last
person's
order
still
hadn't
arrived.
Then,
when
the
staff
were
informed
of
the
missing
item,
and
they
finally
sent
it
out,
they
ignored
the
request
to
have
no
tomatoes
on
it
due
to
an
allergy.
Not
only
that,
but
when
trying
to
inform
them
about
the
issue
they
by
standing
at
the
till,
and
they
didn't
acknowledge
my
partner.
He
went
to
the
kitchen
door
to
inform
them
after
waiting
for
10
minutes
only
to
see
a
group
of
the
cafe
staff
standing
around
talking.
Furthermore,
none
of
the
staff
in
the
kitchen
wore
hair
nets
despite
having
long
hair
that
wasn't
tied
up
properly.
The
whole
experience
in
the
cafe
really
let
it
down,
and
if
we
were
to
visit
again,
we
would
not
use
the
café.
