Lovely tennis coaches. My children also take their dance classes at the venue, so visit several times a week. The staff are helpful and friendly, facilities are clean and modern. The orchard cafe is great.

Warm inside while granddaughter played tennis in the freezing outdoors! Good value drinks, free WiFi and friendly atmosphere.

Excellent facilities. Have indoor and outdoor courts. Outdoors there is a choice of artificial clay, carpet or hardcourt. Staff on reception very welcoming. Also coffee, snacks, meals and alcohol available.

What has happened to this place???This place has deteriorated. I frequent with a friend and the coaches are superb, friendly and professional. That is where the magic ends. This ‘Family Friendly Club’ has long gone. In Feb, I witnessed a player and her son being bullied by 4 people on a court. Heinous behaviour from them. The management are NEVER there. Huge turnover of staff - what does that tell you? To be honest if someone asked me to recommend this place I wouldn’t anymore. I hate saying that and I won’t come again. It needs an overhaul. Put a committed Manager in place to start with (one who isn’t weekend shy.) Stop certain members from bullying guests. At present this place is a bit like a ship without a Captain and will undoubtably steer into further decline.

Used to play squash at the leisure centre just down the road, these courts are far nicer simply because there are no holes in the floorboards. The staff have also been far more helpful during covid situation by actually responding to messages.

Great for tennis, gym facilities are limited and the upstairs rooms are built into the roof space so they become too hot in the summer. Changing rooms and toilets are very clean and the cafe and viewing areas are pleasant.

This is my go to gym in the area. I actually like the gym here so much that I cycle from Baldock which is 2 miles away. The staff are friendly and polite and there are always atleast 2 members of staff in the gym readily available to help you if you need it. The music is nice and varied and so if you forget your headphones it’s not a problem. The gym doesn’t really get overcrowded like other gyms I’ve been to and there is always free equipment to use. There’s a good challenge based points system where you download an app and get points for attending the gym and doing exercises and what not, although I am yet to use this feature. The gym prices are really good and definitely give this gym a competitive advantage over other gyms in the area where you’ll be paying £5-15 more a month. All in all I cannot fault this gym. They even have a nice café area where you can watch, TV, use free WiFi and watch people play tennis and grab a drink and some food. What’s not to like?
