Right from the first consultation, their thoroughly holistic approach set the perfect intonation for my recovery. Over several sessions, they not only aligned my body and relieved my pain, they led me to align other areas of my life and ultimately, to a far greater place of total wellbeing than before the neck pain had even begun. They helped to instill various practices that I can use to regulate the pain and keep it at bay. I still visit for one-off sessions to 'calibrate' my progress. Very impressed with the treatment received at Osteopathy First. After struggling with a plantar fascia injury for most of the year I saw James Burrells for a course of shockwave therapy and a rehabilitation plan. The treatment and accompanying rehab has worked brilliantly and I'm now able to walk and run pain free for the first time in 9 months. In 25 years as a runner and having seen multiple health professionals in that time I can honestly say James is one of the best I have seen, with a thorough yet holistic approach to treatment. I have been attending osteopathy first for many years following extensive surgeries on my feet. The service and advice has always been excellent. When lockdown hit us all I was unsure how things would progress. I have continued my rehab online with Rob Hill and can’t speak highly enough of the virtual appointments, follow-up exercise programs and general support I have experienced. The program of exercises is supported with online videos and progress charts together with watching me carry out the exercises on Zoom and advising on necessary adjustments etc. This has proved interesting and whilst not the usual “hands on” treatment has kept my rehab on track in these unprecedented times.
