I live two blocks away from Chez Burton and finally got around to booking a table. Amazing experience and highly recommendable. Everything from the booking experience, to the wait staff, drinks and cocktails were superb. I will definitely go back soon! Only thing I’d say is that food had a bit too much salt but nothing that can’t be fixed!

Very lucky to get an early table for my birthday. Even accommodated my 2 week old newborn. (She was at the sleepy stage) loved the food- quality is outstanding, atmosphere relaxed, lovely staff. The owners greeted everyone as though they are old friends: warm & welcoming - lovely to feel special. I’ll be back sans baby very soon. Keep up the good work 👍💕

Exquisite. What an amazing concept. A menu of carefully considered and constructed starters. The sharing concept taken to another level. Great atmosphere. Would definitely book a table at the bar next time. This new restaurant, run by a fun husband and wife team - Mr & Mrs Burton! - hits it on every level. Charming staff, excellent food and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. A lot! 😊

Overpriced, poor quality tasteless food with extremely small portions. Management was not responsive to complaints from other customers too and came across arrogant. I attempted to explain the misleading information about one of their dishes but was not successful. We shared one scallop! When the menu clearly says scallops. Unfortunately my wife's birthday was ruined. Never again. Avoid at all costs!!

Attended 08/01/2023 for my anniversary with my partner. Absolutely amazing service from waitress to the owner of the establishment. The food was unbelievable. I highly recommend: Mushroom gyoza, venison tartare, hispi BBQ cabbage, and the passion fruit pavlova. We will definitely be returning

Chez Burton is a fantastic restaurant. Neil & Jacqui are great hosts and along with their team do their utmost to ensure you get an excellent experience. The cocktails are gorgeous and the food is absolutely delicious. The menu is innovative and modern. Great work CB!

We had a nice meal here. We tried some of the variations on classic cocktails and they missed the mark for us. I found the menu a bit confused between British & Japanese, some dishes were not great (beef steak & duck chips). Mushroom gyoza were amazing, moorish umami flavour, I had to get another portion. On the whole it was good but not up to our expectations.

What a gem of a place to have on our doorstep. We came here for the first time on a Friday night and we were not disappointed! We loved the small plates concept so you can try lots of different things. Every dish we ate was as good as the last. Literally couldn’t fault a single thing we had, but it has to be said the duck fat chips and pork belly were our favourites ! SO good ! All in all a lovely place, with awesome food, tasty cocktails and friendly staff. We can’t wait to come back again ! Thanks you Chez Burton !

Great experience. Fine food, excellent cocktails, friendly staff. We went during the first week. The owner made the effort to chat to everyone and explain how the "small plates" menu works. I would definitely recommend it. We will be back.

We have been twice in one month! So happy we found this fab restaurant. Delicious food, great wine and cocktails, friendly and welcoming staff. Can't wait to go back!
