My husband and his friends are very keen golfers, I will be making sure that they are aware of the appalling behaviour of the new groundsman here and that they don't choose to play there due to the killing of a variety of wildlife, why support this behaviour when there are so many caring golf clubs such as my husbands club which is a magnet for wildlife which the players and their families enjoy.

Unfortunately your newly employed Groundskeeper chooses to shoot our beautiful British Wildlife for fun. I’m very disappointed that your Club would want to associate itself with this person and would suggest that consequently, others will no longer want to associate with you.

I booked a Society Day for myself and 7 others. We had a fantastic day! Impeccable service from Gareth and the team, a real credit to the golf club. Everything was brilliant about the day, the food, the service, even the service in the pro-shop, apologies I don't know the gents name. The course was in brilliant condition given the time of year. A special mention to Esther who arranged it all, she facilitated every requirement we had. To say we were awkward would be an understatement, unfortunately we had a few last minute changes, but it didn't matter as it wasn't an issue for the team. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. That level of service goes a long way, we will definitely be returning. We are members of another local Golf Club, and are currently doing society days around the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire area and we have to say Letchworth GC was a level above the rest. Wonderful golf Course. The course is sorrounded by magnificent trees, and fairways and greens are perfect! A super driving range also. It was a real surprise to me... A course where i wish to return!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jim and Esther for a fantastic Potters Bar Crusaders society golf day and the warm welcome we received. Breakfast was a hit with the lads and thanks Gareth for making a roll to go for a late comer. Thanks to the bar staff who looked after our non-playing members whilst we played. The course is in great condition and greens were running great. The greenkeepers must be busy. This is a great club and I'm sure we will be using you again.

I had been told good things about Letchworth and I wasn’t disappointed. We arrived ahead of the visitor roll up tee times on the weekend just as the course was being closed due to lighting! We decided have lunch on the clubhouse terrace whilst it cleared. There was a true sense of a very friendly club as we mingled with the members ahead of our round. Once on the course we were in for a real treat. The rain stopped and the course was looking amazing, the greens surprisingly firm and fast given the down poor only minutes before. We started on the back 9 finished on the front, both challenging with tree lined fairways. Both my playing partners commented on the quality of the course and also the practice facilities. I know there are a lot of quality courses in Hertfordshire but I expect as more people play this course it will creep up the rankings as it certainly deserves to.

We hosted a post-wedding party at Letchworth Golf Club yesterday for around 50 guests and had the most amazing day. The venue was absolutely perfect for our needs and everyone commented on what a lovely venue it was and how nice the newly refurbished lounge is; it's been beautifully decorated and has a very relaxed yet sophisticated feel to it. The layout of the room worked brilliantly for our event and we were able to decorate as we liked and had use of a TV screen to show our wedding photos on. From our first visit to the club, we were made to feel so welcome by Gareth and we immediately decided that's where we wanted to host our event. From that day on, Gareth provided nothing less than exceptional customer service. He kept in touch to check how our plans were going and went over and above to accommodate us and ensure our hopes for the party were met. Gareth was on hand during evenings, weekends and at the event itself where he was so helpful and always there when we needed a hand (even in untangling ribbons and helping to keep our 2 year old entertained!) Nothing was too much to ask. Many guests commented on how attentive Gareth was to everyone's needs. All other staff and club members/golfers we came into contact with were really friendly and added to our special occasion. The club has a lovely, family oriented feel to it The use of the outdoor terrace is a real bonus with views of the beautiful course. The catering was delicious so a huge thank you to the chefs, all of our guests were really impressed with the standard of the food. We felt it provided great value for money. We couldn't have asked for anything more yesterday and hope to have a reason to visit again soon, we wouldn't look anywhere else for future events. Thanks to everyone at the club, especially Gareth, for making our day so special.

It's such a lovely location. We attended a wedding which was wonderful, staff were attentive, food was yummy.

Course in great condition..greens tricky, but immaculate and true. Had a pint in the clubhouse afterwards - the service was brilliant and the person who served us (sorry I didn't catch his name..he was a Man U fan tho!) was welcoming and inviting. I'd love to go back to this golf club!👍

What a lovely golf course, so well maintained and the greens run true although a bit quick, a credit to the green staff. Its definitely on my go back too course maybe in the summer next time

Reasonable golf course but our round was spoilt by members informing us that we had to let them play through on the first (they had started on 10th) and then further members telling us that the 10th tee was closed at midday but they would ‘let us through’. They then proceeded to drive past us on the 10th fairway. Shocking behaviour and would not play there again. This club should consider making sure that the pro shop staff inform their guests of these ‘rules’ and restrictions.

Excellent golf course! Always in immaculate condition. The staff, members and the pro shop are very helpful and friendly to all. The driving range and Academy Course are brilliant. The main course is gorgeous with lovely greens and fairways with mature trees lining the holes. Letchworth is definitely one of the best courses in Hertfordshire and is definitely worth playing!

I attended in an employed capacity as we were running a photobooth for a 60th birthday party, but from what I saw and experienced, all staff were kind and incredibly attentive. The venue was clean and tidy and was a perfect location for such an event.

Had a society day at letchworth on Friday 3rd September absolutely beautiful course staff so friendly nice to see so many green keepers working and it shows what a great job they are doing can’t wait to go back and play this great course well done to everyone who works there

Excellent course, beautiful setting, with super slick greens. A golf club run by a very courteous manager that ensured our day ran smoothly. A great day out for our Society.
