After a day in London we were happy to come back to Letchworth Garden City for a meal. Pleasantly surprised with the new Broadway. We both had chicken schnitzel and fries, which was massive and then I had the chocolate sundae. Self contained booth's were good, staff attentive for such a large venue and enjoyable food. They also fitted us in, without booking, on a Saturday night.

Comfortable rooms, excellent food. Looking for somewhere that's not another Premier Inn? Can't believe this place is more expensive, it certainly has far more character, from the weathered red brick exterior to the mother and daughter who were front of house staff the day we stayed. We'll be regularly staying in the area, I'll make this my hotel choice for those trips

Used to live in Letchworth, so l fancied a trip down memory lane, having left over 30 years ago, the pub was a bit drab, to say the least, fast- forward 30 years, my, what a change, to say l was pleasantly surprised, would be an understatement, the decor is amazing, the service is excellent, couldn't ask for more, l will certainly be coming back soon..

This is an absolute gem of a place,I was a lone traveller and I was made to feel welcomed and safe, staff here are absolutely lovely, I had a single room which was not tiny and a lovely large bathroom, I stayed the hottest weekend of the year but the room wasn't massively over hot. Traffic noise was loud so if you can't sleep through it make sure you ask for a room not over looking the road. Breakfast was brilliant and I had an evening meal from the chefs specials and it was lush and nicely priced. Thank you I highly recommend

Hotel itself was lovely, rooms were great and breakfast was 10/10. Would definitely stay again. We were a bit inconvenienced when the room wasn't ready for the early check in we'd requested. Other than that, great stay.

Great hotel in the town centre. The food and service are excellent with free parking and am going there again shortly.

The only reason I gave 2 stars as the rooms were small and outdated, shutter windows rattled during the night, which I wedged with tea bags to stop the noise and the beds were very uncomfortable and did not sleep all night. The breakfast was good.

I guess there’s a lot of competition for carveries in Letchworth! Amazing food, including lovely roasties, creamy mash, big Yorkshires, melt-in-your-mouth beef and pork, and honey parsnips. I can also recommend the chocolate sundae if you have room - although you probably won’t! The staff were also really friendly :)

Just had a lovely meal. All 4 of us had different dishes and all were amazing. Puddings are excellent! Staff were great as well. We will definitely go back 😊

Staff were so helpful, room as lovely, not overly big but lovely and clean. Bed was so comfy. Breakfast highly recommended if you stay over

Sadly whilst room etc were clean the road noise all night long was terrible. hardly slept. Breakfast was nice but please could all of it be hot??. Mushrooms tepid at best and beans had a film on them.

Came here for a wedding. The food was very nice - had a carvery and then had a buffet in the evening. The wedding disco was retro and we all had a lot of fun!

Double room with breakfast for £95. You get what you pay for. The hotel rooms are fairly basic, but very clean. No AC, but that’s reflected in the price. The lift is a thing to behold, use it if you’re brave enough. Great location close to the station and town centre. The bar and restaurant are lovely, with a great atmosphere. The staff are fantastic. Incredibly friendly and very helpful. Would recommend for a budget hotel. But don’t expect a 5* hotel for the price you’re paying.

Centre of town, next to the railway station. Stayed overnight with decent value, twin room £89 and single £69 with breakfast buffet, WiFi and parking included. Staff were helpful and rooms were okay with en suite, TV and kettle with tea and coffee but outdated, could do with a refurb, no air con but a fan was provided. The bar and restaurant are bright, modern and clean. Didn't get a chance to try any food or drink other than breakfast, which was as mentioned the standard buffet affair, no complaints.

I'm being picky, but as a disabled person I found the location of the disabled parking bays at the back strange and inconvenient as the nearest doors were locked fire exits. If staff hadn't seen us we would have had to carry my luggage all the way round the building to the front door. The lift was interesting! A bit dodgy, no good for a wheelchair user, too small and might not accommodate a carer as well; the buttons too high to use on their own. Bath/shower no good for elderly or disabled and no bath grips. Besides that, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the facilities for tea and coffee were good. We had to have someone sort the bathroom light out which they did promptly. Staff were really helpful, pleasant and friendly. Food was delicious; a little expensive, maybe, but competitive with similar type restaurants. Cooked breakfast included was beautiful and arrived quickly. Wonderful overnight stay, thank you. Would have had 5 stars if not for the disabled issues. 👍

Love the Broadway Hotel as a place to stay on business for the region. Excellent value. Comfortable beds. Powerful showers. I've stayed in about 8 different rooms there now but they all have had a similar feel which is important to me to have a place which feels like a 'home'. Outstandingly delicious Full English as well.

We were booked in for a Christmas meal on Monday 4 December. We were treated very politely, shown our table and offered drinks. Once our meal was ready to be served, we received very personal service due to disabilities amongst our group of 4 people. Would highly recommend the staff and the delicious food. Thanks very much.

Always a great place to stay. Location is really close to the train station and the hotel has a good sized car park. Staff are simply great, very helpful. Good food selection so you don't have to venture out, although it is very central in the town. Rooms are always immaculate.

Enjoyed a meal there with my two Sons. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy with numerous Christmas parties, the service was quick and efficient. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and nice. Our waitress was Betsy and had a great personality; humorous, whilst still being professional. Will certainly be coming back, thank you.

I stayed here whilst visiting an elderly Aunt in Bury. It was brilliantly located for both the train station and town centre. My room had everything necessary although bigger mugs would have been nice. Brilliant shower! I was on my own and felt comfortable in the bar/restaurant and the meals I had were delicious. I only had breakfast once, the veggie option, which was lovely although the poached eggs were a bit hard. But I'd rather have a hard yoke than a soft white! It did always seem expected that I should pay a tip although I was given the option not to. Not that there was anything wrong with the service, I'm just a bit of a scrooge! I would recommend and happily stay here again.

We stayed at the Old Cannon Brewery on Fri 15 Dec. The room was ok, however it was quite noisy as it was over the bar and this prevented a short cat nap prior to our evening event. That said the room was clean, tidy and the bed comfortable. Again in the morning we could hear a party below us having breakfast. We would stay there again but ask for a room in the separate building which looked like it may have been a little more quiet.

Brilliant hotel/pub/brewery-the beers brewed on the premises and food were top notch. Awesome breakfast too! Very comfortable beds and in a great location halfway between the rail station and the town centre.

Very handy location, good facilities and easy to access .Interesting breakfast shame didn't have much choice to eat. Warning the lift is scary and next morning didn't work. So not for those who cannot climb stairs.

I've been struggling with this place. But I really like it. And I'm a 50+ y/o bald man So, here's why... It's got a lift that makes you feel like you're twelve years old and in a rocket ship that you'd built. That should be enough. However, walking into the room for the first time just put me in a warm, safe, place. My double room had a nice bedroom, leading to a small 'study' and then on to the bathroom All very simple. The Bathroom reminds me of a flat I used to rent in East London. Cold, white, a bit French perhaps, but with a powerful shower, above a large bath. The check-in was easy, nice staff too. I suppose it's a bit shabby chic. Or shabby. But for me, it's a really nice place with the best lift.

We booked the Ballroom for a Memorial Service for our Dad. I can only say that is was an excellent experience all round. Very professional and polite staff and an excellent buffet which was very good value. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

The room assigned was over the kitchen backdoor, so there was allot of noise early and late. The room was very hot. The controls on the bath were hard to operate and the lift apparently has been out of service for quite some time. I asked about the room being hot and was not offered another room. The staff is very friendly and the location is great, near dining and the trains.

Impressed with new decor. A lovely place to meet with friends or family. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food very nice but a bit overpriced for what we had. A fair choice on the menu.

Room assigned to me was over the kitchen and got a fair amt of noise and music early and late. Lift had been out quite awhile and no one noticed anyone about it. The staff is great, but avoid second and third floors til left is fixed and avoid rooms 04 and 06 due to kitchen noise.

No plug socket on my side of the bed other then that the staff were awesome and so happy to help and room was clean. Breakfast was great though. Maybe a little expensive for the size of the room but a great night's sleep.

We hired the Ballroom for our wedding anniversary party, and staff were so accommodating and incredibly helpful in making sure everything was as we wanted. Our guests were so impressed with the function room, as were we, and the complimentary hotel room was appreciated. Breakfast the next morning was great too 😊

1 minute walk from the station. Room was spacious and the water pressure fantastic! Windows opened fully which was appreciated as it was hot while we were there but allowed a good ai flow to cool the room. Staff were great, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was exceptional and very reasonably priced for the amazing quality. Literally 1min walk from town centre for restaurants, bars and shops. Would return in a heartbeat! And to the owners and staff, thanks for helping make a family reunion weekend fantastic!👍🏼

My husband and I stayed here from 25th August 2022 for our friend's wedding. The staff couldn't do enough for our wedding party. Ella makes the best Strawberry Daiquiri. All of the staff have been so friendly and helpful during the whole wedding and couldn't do enough for us. The bed and pillows are very comfy and it was nice having a fan in the room as there is no air con in the room, but it's not a huge problem. The breakfast is nice, but for me, the scrambled eggs were a little too mushy (this is my personal preference)

We had our daughters wedding reception at the Hotel 15/9/22 I cannot fault the staff or the DJ who the hotel provided . The food was lovely ,hot and plentiful .the reception room was clean and nicely decorated. I would not hesitate in recommending this venue . M Robinson (Father of the Bride)

Lovely stay. All the staff are so friendly, amiable and helpful. I had a cleanliness issue with initial room l was allocated and they quickly resolved it. Breakfast was lovely. Very short walking distance to station which was really handy for me. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad place at all. Rooms do need some tlc especially regarding the sash windows. Breakfast was extremely good (Eggs benedict), coffee was dreadful. A little disappointed that staff didn't have words with the ignorant woman having a video call with her children whilst others were trying to have breakfast.

I used the hotel bar to meet a colleague for work and to grab some lunch. It was large, quiet and a decent place to sit, but there were very few power points. Food was fine. The staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly.

Hi Eat here a Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. The meat was not moist ,it looked dry before carving. 2 choices of meat offered which was great but the amount in total should not cost between £15-£16 The self service veg patota and gravy choices was excellent.Though I did not have a pudding. felt they were overpriced on the menu.

Lovely food. Was told to take a seat but wasn't seen to for a while as waiters didn't seem to pay attention, had to attend the bar to make them aware of my presence again but staff were lovely none the less.

Lovely venue to rent our the back for parties etc. The pub itself is just a pub, nothing more. The"Hotel" side leaves a fair bit to be desired, as there is not a very nice smell throughout the corridor, the rooms are adequate but nothing special at all, very old inside no modern stuff. I would be more inclined to call this a bnb! The staff were pretty friendly and helpful.

Went for a carvery last night with friends , service was spectacular but unfortunately the food let it down massively, everything was cold hard and dry meat was very nice but everything else could have tatsed fresh especially for the price of £15.95 drinks over very over priced too unfortunately we will not be returning as thought it was a big waste of money and not satisfied. Service keep it up.

We stayed due to work for about 18 days. Rooms very comfortable. We had a family room. Kettle, coffee maker, cups glasses and fresh towels every day. Restaurant staff super friendly and service was great. Thank you. Basha the manager was super. She sorted any problems immediately with no hesitation. She runs the place like it is her own. Thank you Basha. Food at Restaurant was also good, including breakfasts.

I didn't stay here but attended a wedding reception. Great venue. Good food and friendly staff. Very enjoyable event.

We had our daughters 1st birthday there and it was a great day! We had a buffet put on and our own section of the venue which was perfect for the amount of people we had (20-25). The staff and organisers were great and really helpful throughout .
