Very busy place, hamburger high quality, unfortunately they said they didn't serving a pizza because too late, but I saw pizza in other table so very disappointed for that, but burger was tasty, I can not complain. Staff kind.

Best pub in Hitchin. Atmosphere is a great vibe, staff are amazing, considering how rammo the pub gets, food is unreal, especially if you’re veggie and fancy a proper treat and the frozen drinks are 10/10.

Great food (Burgers, pizza's, wings). Friendly staff and just a good place to be. More for ales and lager than craft beers but plenty of other options.

They were so welcoming and the drinks and food were amazing. The best chicken burger I've ever had. Also had the mango chicken wings which were incredible and I will be dreaming of from now on. The staff were so friendly and there was a great atmosphere even early on a Thursday evening.

Always a great place to eat and drink, atmosphere is really friendly and local. Yet again another excellent Roast this Sunday, and as someone who doesn’t normally like gravy, theirs was great. Burgers are superb and the pizza is amazing. Doggy always makes a beeline for the door whenever we’re in the area, so she obviously approves also!

A lovely little gem on a pub, lovely and cozy inside with a large and covered garden. One of the highlights are the two food brands serving food most days at peak times. I had a burger and buffalo fries, the burger was great and juicy with crispy bacon and a good quality bun which is a often over looked item, and the buffalo fries were crispy and spicy with a dollop of creamy blue cheese dressing on top. Unfortunately these are also the reason for the four stars, they were completely drenched in buffalo sauce, almost as if the fries were the cruton to my buffalo soup. Did I finish them, yes! I don't like sending food back and waiting for a replacement, but I hope that more care is taken in future as if this had been a sprinkle rather than a drowning it would be a five star meal.

I enjoyed this for some leaving drinks. I went big on buffalo wings with ranch and buffalo fries. So loads of buffalo sauce but it really was good. Wing whre really hot in temp. Chips less so but still delicious. The burgers the rest of the people got looked good.

Nice enough pub! Pizza is ok. Just be prepared: super overpriced. Makes you to pay service charge without even asking, just hands over the card machine and gives no notice. Not sure what service exactly we paid since we had to deal with the bar directly.

My new favourite place to go. I can't believe I've never been here until last week. The food is literally the best I've had. I had a Margherita pizza, chicken tenders, garlic bread. My partner had one of the burgers. I wish I had a bigger appetite as I tried his burger and wanted some more. It was cooked perfectly - so juicy. The staff is super friendly and actually a reasonable price for the quality. Beautiful environment, lovely chill atmosphere. Oh and the fries were amazing and so was the gelato! I'm literally going to bring everyone I know here - I love it!

Visited Hitchin with friends a couple of weeks ago and this was our favourite place to go! The food was amazing! Great portion sizes and good value for money! The seating area outside was lovely! And the staff were lovely!

The service and atmosphere was great. The main reason for my 3 stars is the food. I attended with a group this evening. This was my first time at the pub. I got a chicken burger and fries with something described as chick'n salt on top. The burger was probably one of the worst burgers I've ever had. The burger was completely cold. A tiny piece of chicken and little to no flavour. The chips were nice and warm but the extra £1.50 or whatever it was, was basically a tiny splatter of brown salt over the chips (not worth it). Other members of the group who got chicken were not impressed. The pub was busy so the food took a long while. The group members that got pizza enjoyed their meal. I should add that the people doing table service were great and super friendly (once you got their attention).

This is my local. Best pub in H-Town. Does great food - brilliant pizzas, burgers and Sunday lunch. Small inside, but a great space in the garden with heaters. Gets very busy in peak times so best to book ahead if you want to eat.

Food was incredible, we'll be back to try the pizza next time! Unfortunately the tables are packed in so we were constantly being knocked into as people tried to get past our table on the way to the toilet. It also meant it was difficult to have a conversation.

Oh wow! What a place! Went there with the family for dinner and had pizzas, they were delicious!!! Their beer garden at the back is so lovely even on the winter, the staff were super friendly. If you're in the area I highly recommend.

Popped in here for pizzas (served Thursday - Sunday nights). The pizzas were tasty and mine was nicely enhanced with truffle oil. Friendly service. I'll definitely go back.

Looks a nice pub. But beware if your travelling football fans this isn’t the pub for you even if you bring along 100 customers ready to spend money. No singing no having a good time even if the locals enjoyed your company and atmosphere we bring. If your for a family day out and dinner person this is definitely the pub for you

The food is absolutely amazing. Inside is snug but that's because its clearly popular with such good food. The staff are very friendly and have a great sense of humour. The burgers are just the tastiest I've had and all very good value for money

I have been lucky to eat at many grest places, yet the one I always look forward to is my weekly meal at the Vic. Both pizzas and burgers are some of the very best I ever had. This plane and their team deserves a lot more recognition and visibility, if they were London based they would feature in top lists to eat at regularly.

Food is fantastic, atmosphere was great lots of families and the staff are all lovely and friendly. Introduced to it while visiting my brother and his family so will definitely get back for a meal before I leave.

Absolutely beautiful food and lovely staff they make you feel warm and welcome, the food is to die for and to be killed over. NO JOKE. this is my new found love thank you to everyone that works in the Victoria pud, grate work guys keep it up

The best food I've ever eaten anywhere in the world, hands down. Me and my partner shared a burger and chips and a pizza and it was honestly the closest I've ever come to a spiritual expierence in my life. 10/5 stars

Great pub in Hitchin and the beer garden is beautiful with festoon and stretch tents. The vibe is really relaxed and I always feel welcome whether I'm having a meal with my family or drinks with my friends. Have the dirty sriracha fries, you won't regret it!
