As a Whisky drinker, I loved the thought of The Angel’s Share - and have frequented it several times. However, after the owners behaviour toward me, I shall never return. Mr Singh has made it quite clear that unless you bleed Labour you aren’t welcome around him; a rude, intolerant bully. Definitely lost my custom by insulting and berating anyone who doesn’t agree with his very outspoken political views. Disgusting of a grown man.

Wow this was the most upsetting experience I have ever experienced on a night out. The owner spoke to me and my husband in the most disgusting manor, as a new customer, asking about the availability of a drink I was met with extreme hostility, and told to get out! I have never been spoken to like that in my life, never mind as a paying customer. If I could give this bar a negative score I would!

Spent one of the best Saturdays nights I've ever had here. Harpreet is a great host, Joanna's lovely voice adds so much to the atmosphere (I think she could win xfactor) and the friendly people of Hitchin just make the place even better. Go down and enjoy yourself!!!

There is nothing like Live blues music and the lyric, to enjoy, and reinforce the mind. Harpreet the manager always has live music, and plenty of custom to complete the atmosphere! There is an extensive collection of Single Malt, Scotch, wine and quality bottled beer. Harpreet loves his single malt! Authentic Indian food can be ordered fro the Facebook page, phone.

Fabulous selection of Whisk(e)y and a great host. One of the best places in Hitchin for a drink and a chat, also sometimes has live music, supporting local acts... what's not to like

Lovely way to round off an evening out. Great local live music venue with amazing selection of whiskies if you're a fan, if not plenty of other drinks to choose from!

Market day today, plenty of variety on the market stalls, this was first visit it won't be my last, Lovely town plenty of shops and eating places. I think a visit for next week has already been pencilled in

What can I say such a fabulous welcoming place , such genuine down to earth guys who run this place, with excellent live music. Shame couldn't stay longer, hopefully next time as certainly will be a place would love to visit again. Thank you all.

Prices are good for Hitchin. The customer service is great. If they see your glass is empty they will ask if you would like another and delivery to the table.
