Park

👍 Nice park, well maintained. If you are there with kids then be mindful of a road running alongside the park. Would be nice to have some playground pieces there for smaller kids.

It's a big green space so good for excercise, dog walking, family picnics and games. However there aren't any toilets here.

Pleasant open 11 acre grassed space, with a avenue of Lime trees on one side, Hitchin Town football club and Hitchin on two other sides. In previous centuries it was used for archery. The name refers to the archery butts that used to be on it during the Late Medieval and Tudor Times.

Very nice park with plenty of shaded areas to get out of the sun (if it decides to make an appearance!). Only downside is how easy it is to get onto the busy road from the park so adventurous children might need extra supervision.

Had a family & friends socially distanced picnic. Found a tree to shade and let the evening pass by. Plenty if room for family games of frisbee and football.

Enjoyed spending a few hours here with family. Park was pretty empty for most of the day which was nice.

👍👍 Right in the center of the town, there is the perfect park for spending time on a sunny day. It is especially nice to come here with children and babies. Dozens of mothers with baby strollers in the place will testify to this. On the day we were there, there were several classes of school children...

👍👍 Very nice and clean park to go to with kids, the new interactive toy is very popular and it's great that they set up the water play area every year, also plenty of space on the grass to relax.
