My friends treated us to Bridge Street Bistro for an early birthday dinner for my husband. They had a special three course dinner menu option that night that I selected. I chose the prawn salad starter, a very juicy stuffed chicken dish and bread pudding for dessert. My husband had the beef Wellington. It was tender and savory and he enjoyed every bite. Our friends ordered the prawns and fried mushrooms for starters and we all shared. They both had a steak and potatoes for their main course. A bottle of wine later, the conversation was flowing and this dinner was the perfect start to my husband's special day. Bridge Street Bistro has really good food and is a great place to celebrate a special event.

In all the years of living in this area I am sad that this was my first visit as it was superb! The service was second to none with our waitress being attentive but not over bearing, chatty and an all round delight. The food was beautiful, perfectly seasoned, tasty, well presented and plenty of it. I recommend the prawns to start and if you like beef wellington you will love this one! I can't wait to go back. C'est magnifique

Came here for a family birthday, after looking online for vegan options I came with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised! I was presented with a full vegan menu and much care was taken to ensure my meal was vegan, the mushroom and walnut main was particularly delicious! As someone following a vegan lifestyle I really appreciate traditional eateries like this one accommodating me, so thank you!

Can’t believe I’ve been here for so long and never been here. The owners are incredibly nice and 100% what I’d expect of restaurateurs. They’ve treated us to wines of our country and were incredibly hospitable.

Food here is always 10/10 been coming for the past 6 years nearly as my son and grandsons live here. Staff are also 10/10 as got a smile .

Have been wanting to try beef Wellington for over a year. When I found out I was going to London I knew I would have to give it a go Kevin did not disappoint. The beef Wellington was everything I expected and more. What a great establishment. The food, wine selection and atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommend if you want a great experience

Quality food resonable prices. Attentive staff who are very experienced. I appreciate white tablecloth and serviettes. Kevin, Albert, Ronnie and Anna are well-known to both my wife and myself who have enjoyed some fantastic meals.

Really enjoyed it. Service was friendly, the food was very taste and well cooked and came with a generous portion of sides. Furthermore I love places that still serve filter coffee rather than diluted espresso if you just want a black coffee

Been trying to get booked in here for a few weeks. Glad we persevered, great food ,generous portions and for the quality the pricing is very reasonable. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and it's always a great touch to be able to talk to the owner and be thanked for your custom. Will be back for birthdays and anniversaries and spread the word.

Went for Sunday lunch for my Aunts 80th birthday 28/5. Absolutely superb restaurant. Very good food , drinks and exceptional service. Booked to go back next month

Fantastic food, great friendly atmosphere and lovely staff! Me my, partner and our friend came here for dinner. We started with homemade haddock fishcakes and mussels in white wine suace. The fishcakes were light, fluffy, and tasty (my friend Christine made me say tasty instead of sumptuous lol). The mussels were large and juicy, and the white wine sauce was beautiful. The mains were all amazing. Me and my partner shared beef Wellington and a rack of lamb. They were excellent, both dishes sauces the accompanying cognac and cream for BW and redwine sauce for lamb were brilliant 👏 Our friend had the Sea Bass which she said was lovely We were too full for desert, but we will return. The staff were all first class, friendly and only to happy to make your night a night to remember. THANKS TEAM 🥰

Had Sunday lunch here today, under 30 quid for 3 courses. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great. Can't fault my experience . Heard good things about here and its all true. Make this your next destination and you won't be disappointed. 10/10.

Wow we had an absolutely amazing meal the Beef Wellington is a definite wow snd the carrots so sweet . We recommended our welsh friends to go and there were there too. We celebrated our daughters graduation superb personable gorgeous food and wine and attentive hosts huge thank you x

Lovely little find (as a visitor from London). Charming atmosphere for such a busy place. Staff were very attentive and the food was simply Devine! Generous portions I didn’t have room for dessert modestly price for the quality of the food. I shall be putting the bistro on my ‘Must visit Again’ list. I hear they do a Sunday lunch as well
