Such friendly, welcoming (blond hair, sorry don’t know her name)receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble. Very clean room. Good shower and bath.Such a good situation for us as just a 15 minute walk to my daughter’s house near Stevenage Old Town. Plenty free parking on site . Large Sainsburys two minutes away. Very good breakfast each morning in the Beefeater across the car park from the hotel. So glad we have found such a good reasonably priced place to stay. We shall definitely return.

Clean, spacious and comfy beds. Shampoo and shower gel provided. Nice fluffy towels. Friendly staff 😊. We stayed for 1 night to attend a party locally. Plenty of free parking. For what we paid we got a good deal. Wouldn’t have booked breakfast in the beefeater next door though as it wasn’t very nice which was a shame.

I stayed at the Premier Inn Stevenage North Hotel for three nights as we were attending a function in the grounds of Knebworth House. The hotel was about 5-10 minutes taxi ride from Knebworth House, which was extremely convenient. Over the years, I have stayed at many Premier Inn Hotels as they are very comfortable and good value for money for the price you pay. This hotel lacked, quite severly, on the comfort factor. The room had no air conditioning, which meant our south facing room remained unbearably hot 24 hours a day, despite the fact that reception had placed a pedestal fan in our room prior to our arrival, which I assume means we were not the first to suffer this problem. The room had no plug sockets by the bed. There was also no fridge, and no in-room phone. A very basic and disappointing room.

Absolutely fine for an overnight stopover. Clean and a nice breakfast in the next door Beefeater.

Convenient location. Room ok but AC didnt seem to work.. breakfast ok.. bar closed early on our visit.

Marked double quilt duvet.duvets very heavy. Rooms require upgrading. I'm 5ft struggled to into high bath to shower. Window looked into brick wall

Couldn't fault anything, warm welcome on arrival, quick check in and room had everything to make our stay comfortable, pre booked the cooked breakfast in the beefeater which was good value for money and well worth it

Everything about Premier Inn is slick & perfect. Great staff at reception & always happy & cheerful and chatty. Thanks for the stay, We will be back.

As usual staff and accommodation were good. Unfortunately even though there were 2 fans in the the room it was really hot and stuffy.

Some of the rooms are a bit old and tired, but the beds are as comfortable as ever. The hotel has been built in a weird location, right next to some houses. On the day we arrived they were having a very loud party, which would have made it impossible to sleep. Nobody was interested in helping, except for the receptionist Lucy, who went out of her was to move us to a quieter room. Thank you Lucy. It's a shame that the police, council and her head office weren't the slightest bit interested in helping. This is one location we won't ever go back to.

Starting to show signs of its age. Curtain rail broke off when I closed the curtain. Bathroom ventilation wasn't working, suspect it was blocked. Fan ran but didn't extract any condensation. Therefore bathroom smelt damp.

FRAN (the bar lady) was by far the best I've seen. So consistent with everything an constantly made herself busy.i have been at 1000s of premier inns however this is my first review (the impactof a exceptionalSerice had).Fran is the reason for the review however the manager was great too!!!! Thank you

Hotel was ok . Car park could do with a resurface and better lighting and gets busy in the evening... pls note no air conditioning so rooms do get warm overnight .. open window can be a bit noisy from pub and motorway

Tara the receptionist was friendly and very helpful.She went the extra mile to have my room made up early as I had various procedures at the hospital. Beefeater was good and reasonable value . Room was space and clean.

Handy location. Stayed there whilst working in the town. Staff good, but forgetful.... especially when you request your room servicing next day. Rooms as expected (its a Premier Inn). Will stay again when in area.

Good clean rooms and the entrance and reception were clean and light. They were very helpful in explaining the current guidelines The restaurant that was next door provided breakfast and meals to the public and catered to the hotel patrons. Good service there and food was good Will stay here again when visiting Stevenage

As soon as I entered the room the wall to wall cobwebs meant the room had obviously not been cleaned,the thermostat battery cover was missing,not that it mattered because it didn’t work anyway,dirty towels and there was no working fan in the bathroom which meant it steamed up until the next day as you have to keep the bathroom door shut or the smoke alarms go off.Hopefully I may get away with not being bitten by the bedbugs like my friends in 2 other rooms,bitten on their legs and stomach and even one on his eyelid.Easily the dirtiest room I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in,honestly can’t understand the good reviews,avoid like the plague

Good location, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Not sure what's changed but this new stay we found the beds very uncomfortable.

Best premier in Hertfordshire! Have visited on a few occasions and cannot fault it. Staff are super helpful and Tara is one of the most helpful people I have ever met. Manager quality.

Very friendly staff, always ready for a chat. Rooms lovely and a bar & restaurant just outside. This is going to be our new go to hotel when visiting family. Lovely.

Right off the A1. Good beef eater on site. Clean, fresh modern rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Definitely the best premier inn I've stayed in recently.

Fantastic value for money. Last minute decision to book, but extremely happy we did. Friendly and efficient receptionist. Rooms immaculate and very quiet. Breakfast provided a great range and was delicious. Seriously couldn't fault anything, and look forward to our next stay.

Booked a double room , allocated an assistance room , single beds . Told was due to booking late 09/092022, only available room !!! Claimed unable to move rooms as full. As a single guy what they did was sell my double at a higher price and as the assistance room not booked allocated to me ?????

Room was particularly poor! Couldn't sleep, as it was too stuffy and was bitten by bed bugs! Next morning had bites all over my legs and chest! Staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was good.
