Great little railway tucked away off the main road. Take a miniature train to depart from Haynes End up to Hammer Hill to see even more trains. A fantastic little gem enjoyed by all the family, especially the little ones. Full of enthusiastic members and volunteers. Check their website for open days as they’re not open everyday. Nice little cafe serving tea/coffee and snacks. Unfortunately, when we were there (sept 2021) they couldn’t serve sandwiches, meals, etc.

Children who like trains and model engineers will love this place. All the team are train mad, very friendly and accommodating. Adults can enjoy a couple of hours watching the children enjoy themselves and even have a ride or two themselves. Granddad's take you young grandchildren they will remember it for ever especially if it's a steam engine that pulls the train!

My eldest (6) is massively into trains and this has to be one of the best minature railways we've taken him to, possibly the best actually. The main track is a good size (I often find your off again before you're even on with others we've been to) and then another two smaller tracks to ride and minatures to watch as well is really great! All the people here running the trains and tea rooms are lovely and super friendly. Can't recommend it enough and we'll be back next year for sure!

Very friendly staff. 3 railways connected at one station. Proper terminus in the main field with full canopy. Train takes you to the other two ride on railways where there is an interchange station.

Had a very pleasant experience with my family there riding the miniature trains and my son loved the place a lot. Will make sure I go back there when ever I get an opportunity.

Absolutely fantastic experience. A huge thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work and dedication. Local attractions must be supported to survive and provide a fun day out for train lovers of all ages.

What a wonderful place to spend a good couple of hours. Great fun for all ages to travel on miniature steam trains plus electric ones. Cost of rides is really good value. There is also a clubhouse on site serving hot/cold drinks, light snacks and ice cream, or you can picnic here. Plenty of on-site parking.

Best place x such a lovely team of staff that all volunteer through their passion of modelling/minuture railway's. Lot's of places to picnic there's toilets and one end the other end there isit toilets but it's fine! There's a cafe some days with limited catering again just check online prior to going.. You can ride all three trains with return trip for 5 pounds a person which is ridiculously cheap for how much the kids love it.. They don't run every day so check online what day's are public running day's. Beautiful place x

Excellent! Very well managed and lovely atmosphere. Brilliant staff. 2 metre spacer bars fitted between carriages and one family per carriage - all felt very safely run. Cleaning in between uses. The trains do one long journey around all the track there which took about 15 minutes. I actually prefer the single longer journey than having lots of shorter routes. Good picnic benches that are very generously spaced out at the cafe by the car park. Thank you to all the great volunteers, a lovely afternoon out.

It's run by some lovely volunteers, they are extremely busy on the open days, it's very popular & parking can be a mare at times, well worth a visit with the youngsters for an inexpensive time or with the little ones. One tip I would give is take a picnic, unless you like sausage rolls.

What a surprise this place was - fun small trains of various types to ride and smaller ones to watch in a really nicely planned setting, and the bonus - it's not expensive!
